The Buffet at Hyatt Waikiki
毎日の 17:30 - 20:30
The most amazing seafood! The crab legs (snow & king) were unbelievable! The shrimp were huge and tasty and everything else was great as well. My focus was only on the crab legs to be sure I got my monies worth. Highly recommend if you can afford $63 per person for a buffet.
The food is so so. But the price is too high.
The food was great. Love their sushi bar and did I mention they have King crab??
In addition to the food, our server was amazing. Would highly recommend. Outdoor seating on a beautiful evening also a plus.
Crab was very very salty and wet. Crab shell was very soft, so it was very difficult to crack open with the shelling utensil. Other buffets steam/boil their crabs before bringing them out. Their shells are hard enough to be cracked open.
Prime rib was ok. A little on the tough side.
Chowder consistency and flavor was a little on the thin side, but still ok.
Salad was excellent. Very fresh leaves. Excellent dressing.
Service was above excellent. Our server David was very friendly and attentive.
Food was great and oyster/prime rib station service was very nice. Can’t wait to go back and enjoy the Buffet Hyatt!
Awful. Horrendous package holiday feeding station. Poor buffet selection of average quality food. Zero ambience as obtuse waiting staff rush themselves to rush you out. Table debris everywhere. Tables squeezed in every nook and cranny. Your basic food nightmare. Avoid!
Dinner was for my bday. After the dinner I was so miserable. Not because the quality of the food! The food was so good, I couldnt stop until I couldnt breath. The only thing that couldve been better was the AC. We had to move inside cuz the sun was so hot and even on the inside it was warm. But overall, good! I'll be back
Very nice but not cheap
You allow people with unruly kids to ruin it for those paying big bucks ...
Here's the thing the food was good above average but the prices are too high for local people like us. When i looked online i saw you had Kamaaina rates so i picked the buffet to bring my mother in law for dinner. Come to find out, you don't give the Kamaaina rates on holidays. Really? Thats when most Kamaaina would go to a nice place like that on a holiday or special occasion. I think you should consider offering Kamaaina rates all the time if you want local people to come out. I think with the 3 of us i only saw 2 other locals on Easter Sunday at 6:30 pm. At $80.00 per person it is a little stiff. There are other good buffets with ocean views and cost around $60.00. Also my husband had a few drinks and 1 drink (a long island icetea) was $13.00 for one regular size drink, like i said a little stiff. With the $40.00 tip, our bill was almost $400.00 for 3 people. Would you pay that? Try and adjust your prices please. Mahalo!!
My wife and I enjoyed the food and service. We appreciated very much being served by Elena. She was very attentive and friendly.
Peel & Eat shrimp on a $63 buffet? Would like to have had more items on cold side of buffet. Limit salad bar items. Dessert somewhat limited too. Soft serve ice cream was almost melted...way too soft. Also it didn't even give a plain vanilla option. 6 or 8 options for hot items plus prime rib and crab.
The food choices and quality were very good. The servers were constantly refreshing the entrees.
Food is worth the price! Highly recommend the place.
Outstanding. Seafood Buffet made an excellent anniversary dinner night special. Waiter paid great attention to detail and kept our drinks full while we were treated to a large portion of shrimp and crab legs from the seafood bar. There was a large assortment of delicious sushi and many entrees and desserts to choose from.
I was not impressed with the taste of the food served at the Hyatt Buffet. I found their king crab legs to be so salty you can't eat it even after dipping it in vinegar and the snow crab legs did not taste fresh. Their North Shore shrimp truck style shrimp was really just boiled shrimp served cold (not like the garlicky ones from Romy's or Giovanni). Their crispy lechon kawali was not crispy at all as they put so much salsa on top so the skin is no longer crispy. The fish with cream sauce was over cooked and very bland. All the other items on the menu were overcooked and forgettable. The food at the Hyatt Buffet was certainly not worth paying $63 for.
Not much ambiance as we were put in the furthest corner table against the wall that you can't enjoy any of the music.
Our server was great and super attentive. He made sure our drinks were always topped off and cleared off any used plates.
Giant crab legs and nicely seasoned prime rib were the stars of this buffet along with a good selection of poke and sashimi. Nice variety of cold and hot buffet items including Hawaiian dishes such as mini laulau, kalua pig, lomi salmon, and poi that will appeal to local residents as well as visitors. Most of the restaurant is open air. At sunset it was very hot and uncomfortable with the sun shining on us. Service was adequate but could have been more attentive. Valet parking is free with validation.
I took my wife out to celebrate our anniversary. We enjoyed the buffet! Seafood was incredible. Thanks to our amazing servers! We appreciated the hospitality.
The food was good. Only issue is for a group of 5 people, they place you on these itty bitty table. We have gone twice. Once in early evening when the sun is out and this time at night. I suggest going at night as it is way cooler because you are outside. Or if you are inside, it is open to the outside so it's hot.
Overall a great buffet but the prime rib, the main reason for coming, was a bit of a disappointment. The meat was on the leaner side and mildly flavored with no hint of kiawe smoke or a herb crust.
The poke and sashimi, however, was much better than expected and actually our favorite of the buffet! The crab legs were good too.
Service was excellent and our waiter was outstanding.
Great selection of foods. Friendly crew and very attentive.
The king crab and prime rib is definatly the star of the show.... although everything else they serve is definatly not worth missing also. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I recommend this place to all of my family and friends.... best of all kamaaina discount is 20%off. And free valet parking. Can't beat that.... this is my go to place for buffet!
The salmon skin hand roll is the bomb.
Indicated a birthday on the reservations. However, the restaurant barely acknowledged the birthday guest. Only the hostess said “happy birthday” when we walked in. It was even directed to the birthday person.
Excellent food and service. Well worth the price! Do the valet parking it's worth it.
The Buffet at Hyatt Waikiki was good, but not great. The king crab and prime rib were good. The boiled shrimp were mushy and didn’t have much flavor. Other items were also pretty good but not great. The highlight of the evening was our service, which was excellent. The dessert selection was also really good.
Good selection of different types of food. Crab was adequate, prime rib was excellent and good variety of sushi. Dessert was also very good. Didn't feel like we had to rush and no one made us feel like we were on the clock. The kamaaina discount really helped. Would go back again.
The food was amazing and the service was excellent. Definitely worth the cost and then some. I'd go every week if my waistline (and wallet) could handle it. Do bring a sweater though. We had a table on the lanai (gorgeous view of the sunset) but then it did get a bit chilly after dark.
The food was delicious. The desserts were amazing. The buffet had enough variety for all tastes. All of the workers were great but our server Arnold was awesome! I would definitely recommend this buffet to a friend!
This is hands down the best seafood buffet in Honolulu. With not much to choose from except for a handful; 100 Sails, Kai Market, Kahala Plumeria terrace and a couple others This is the best of them all. Try it and with Kamaaina prices its a winna....
Nice buffet . Boy we ask to steam the crab legs is much better.
I went for the King Crab which is something I can’t get without paying a lot of money. And it’s vacation so I justified the $65. The King Crab was amazing but it didn’t even come with a coke ($4 on top of that), just water, coffee and tea and the rest of the food was not good at all. Dishes were cold, or just...weird. Not a huge selection for a buffet. Desserts tasted old and not fresh. Just wasn’t impressed at all. But the King Crab was a delicious treat.
We decided to have dinner ar the buffet so we could get a variety of food. The food there has a Asian twist to the food items which I loved. On the weekend whicj is when I went they ha e all you can eat seafood also. I enjoyed the oysters, crab legs and all the sushi.
