Great food and atmosphere. Service was perfect!!!!
Ding room really needs a makeover. So dated and run down. Food was average, nothing special. I will not be returning.
Thank you for supporting the Buck Hotel. We believe the historic vibe of the Buck Hotel dating back to the 1700s is the proper decor for this decades old restaurant.
Excellent dinner. We had made a reservation and were seated as soon as we arrived. Cheesesteak spring rolls were the best! Fried shrimp never disappoints! Fantastic service and Generous portions! Will definitely be back!
The food was very good. Our waitress was efficient and professional besides being very friendly, the service was very good. I would recommend this restaurant. The atmosphere was very pleasant.
We were able to get same day dinner reservations, our dinner, drinks and desserts were awesome. It is great to be back here dining in on a regular basis.
Highly recommend! Great food and atmosphere is great.
Understaffed, over priced and very dark dining room
We apologize for the lack of staff and higher prices due to the pandemic. We hope you will return at a later date when things return to normal.
Had a wonderful dinner. Server was exceptional.
Very nice place. The service was excellent. The food was just "o.k." for us which makes the pricing seem more expensive than it is. We would eat here again though.
Extraordinarily poor service for Mother’s Day. -It wasn’t exactly crowded...
Sat for 20 minutes before anyone appeared to take a drink order and it was another 15 minutes until we had a cup of coffee. Requested water never arrived.
Waited another 15 minutes to order food. 30 minutes later, 2 of three entrees arrived. 20 minutes after that the third showed up and that was the last we ever saw of our server.
20 minute wait for a check until I flagged down another server to pay our >$100 bill.
We apologize for the lack of service. We were in fact extremely busy but due to the large size of our facility we only sat limited number of tables in each room to ensure proper covid distancing for all our guests. Our goal was to have all our guest feel comfortable. We thank you joining us on this busy Mother's Day Holiday.
Apps were served cold and the green beans and asparagus looked like they were boiled and were soggy
Always enjoy our date nights at The Buck Hotel!
Went to the Buck Hotel for my husbands birthday. The server was awesome as she was attentive ti our needs. The food was hot and tasty. We did not get desert as we were to full from our good meal.
Our party had the lobster grilled cheese and the oyster po' boy. Both were well made, and very good. Also, Michelle M, our server, was pleasant, attentive and efficient.
First time dining here. Everything was wonderful. Our server Kristin was attentive, friendly and efficient. The hostess made a point to ask us how we enjoyed our lunch. My husband sampled the shrimp salad in the market, he said it was the best he’s ever had. We will definitely be back.
Great Food! Sat outside of the Tavern/bar area. Our server was charming, professional and masked. We walked in/out of the building masked, unmasked at the table. The chocolate desserts were wonderful as well as the meal itself. I plan on coming back at least once a week!
Easy parking, good food, everything is easy, clean &safe.
Our party of 4 had a lovely Sunday lunch. Fresh seafood!
Great service and food. I had broiled flounder with crab imperial. Yummy. Husband had the special. Nice sized lobster tail.
I have come to the Buck from way back even the time before Neil became a server.
We have not been there for a year because of the virus and it good to see Neil again pleasant as always.
The food was good but my concern was that I had boil scallops and they were small not big at all and to get 5 of them, 6 pieces of asparagus and a small plate of cole-slaw,I was disappointed.
I understand that all places are trying to make up for the lack of people this past year because of the virus and the hit that all have taken but this was small.
Our time for dinner was Friday 2/23/2021 ay 6.30 with another couple. Neil seated us and a short time later he bought our guess to our table.
I was so glad to be able to start to be able to go back to dinner and different places .My wife Dorothy and I are 83 and we like many feel it is good to start to try and get back to how life was before.

Unique atmosphere, very good food. Not overpriced.
Overall very pleasant experience.
This is the first time my husband and I have eaten here. We were very pleased with the service. Our waitress was so pleasant and fun. Our meals were prepared pretty quick and were delicious. Great healthy choices and just enough food to not over eat. We will definitely be back again for date night.
We always enjoy our meal at The Buck. The seafood is always super fresh and always friendly and great service.
The restaurant looked like it was over 100% capacity. When you walked in the people who checked you in did not have their masks fully on. Service was very poor & tables were too close. Was really unhappy about this experience.
Our restaurant is still operating at 50% occupancy and did not increase to the current 75% currently allowed, along with tables properly spaced under state guidelines. We thank you for dining with us on a busy Saturday night and hope you will return.
Lots of parking. Made reservation. Took us on time. Had a nice booth in the corner, good service and food was very good.
This was my second visit in a row. We had a wonderful time. The food was delicious. Our waitress was the best. Can’t wait to get back. Thanks
We were a party of 3. All of us enjoyed the food! Highly recommend!
This has become my new favorite spot - I love coming at the time that I do, as there is no-one here, and it is a great time to enjoy a great meal, some good music, and some incredible drinks. The bartender is amazing - and has great people skills as well as keeps us wanting to stay and relax and drink. My friend and I ordered several seafood dishes off the menu, and none of them disappointed us. We regularly order the crab guacamole dip - there is nothing like it anywhere I have been - and the broiled shrimp and scallops are perfection.
I am not one to go crazy about a herb rice pilaf, but this is the best I have ever had, and I cannot resist ordering it every single time I have a meal at The Buck Hotel. The ambience is perfect, I love the vibe, and it is a great place to come with a friend for a relaxing and enjoyable lunch!
Food and service was great. Would definitely be back.
The service was great as well as the food was absolutely amazing! We went for my parents 30th wedding anniversary and even got to sit upstairs on the balcony in a private igloo. was such a wonderful experience for our first time at the Buck hotel. Will absolutely be back.
Awesome waitress and food! Loved it!!
Havent been out in so long. Was a treat. Ambiance beautiful. Plenty of space between diners. chilean sea bass was delicious!
Food was great, customer service was even better.
My partner didn't care for the coleslaw and there was more breading on my oysters than I remember but nevertheless alright
Classic old school restaurant in a gorgeous setting reminiscent of a grand lodge.
We enjoyed the night!
Great experience,as always. We’ve enjoyed going to The Buck over the years and suggest it to anyone looking for a great dining experience!!!
This place had never failed us. The waitresses are great the food is awesome and its priced fairly! We sat by the fireplace, it was great.
Service was excellent. The food came out fast and was hot. I had seafood and it was fresh. Husband had chicken dish and he finished it. Spacers is out appropriately with Covid restrictions.
My dad ordered fried oysters and he received five big ones and was very happy and they were very good.
