We had the best experience at The Bristol on Valentine’s Day! The food was delicious, especially the pasta.
The ambiance and service were both spectacular.
The entire experience exceeded all of our expectations and we will be back!

Met some friends for brunch. The selection of menu items was great and we all enjoyed the meal, especially the basque cake and the pork hash. Our server was great but unfortunately we were seated in the upstairs area where the larger groups and the young children were also seated. I didn't even know thus was an option as I had always been seated in the main room on the ground floor.

The food here is always great, terrific brunch menu, but dinner is also terrific, lots of seasonal well prepared dishes. Service is excellent, from the bussers to the bartenders to the servers and manager, everyone is friendly and attentive to every need or want. I don’t live in the neighborhood but always feel welcomed as if I do.

My friends were visiting from out of town and we decided to try The Bristol's Restaurant Week menu. We loved the food, especially the burger and the basque cake. The drinks were also excellent. Highly recommended!

Service was spotty. Monkey bread was delicious, but I can make that at home for much less than 8 dollars. All the food was unremarkable, except the basque cake, which was hard to the point of being inedible. Disappointing.

We went to the Bristol for our first time during Restaurant Week. We did the Restaurant Week menu along with the wine pairing. We got there a little early before our reservation and grabbed a drink at the bar. It too a very long time to get a menu and our drinks at the bar but they were tasty once received. Everyone was very busy and they do have a happy hour special. The food was extremely good! Both my husband and I had the fried oysters as our first course then shared everything else on the menu. The pastas were superb. The wine also paired very well with the different courses. It’s not a big place but it felt nice and cozy. Don’t go here if you are in a hurry, but if you are there to enjoy a good meal, drinks and company then I’d highly recommend it!!! I’d go back in a heartbeat!

The service was definitely wonderful. I came with a group and we really loved the ambiance of the second floor. The pasta wasn't as good as I was expecting but the Amish chicken and Mushroom risotto was definitely worth it. They are known for the Basque cake and it was amazing!

Restaurant week - LOVED EVERYTHING. I booked just for Friday night dinner out and we were thrilled to have the option for the $44 restaurant week menu. We also got the wine pairings and had a wonderful experience. Will definitely come back soon. I expect the cacio e pepe to become a go-to dish for us!

The food and ambiance was great. The service, however, was meh. If you are going to offer reservations at 10p, I fully expect your kitchen to be open past that time. From the time we arrived to the time we left, the server was very pushy and granted he gave us 5 minutes, I feel like it was so rushed. Not the finest moment. Overall good experience.

Usually this is a great spot. But Saturday the service was off, the food was cold and cooked incorrectly (steak overcooked, broccoli soggy). Disappointed.

We ended up waiting about 20 minutes after our reservation time to be seated. However, the manager provided a complimentary round of drinks, as well as several appetizers on the House. The food was phenomenal and our server was knowledgeable, friendly and timely. I will definitely be coming back to this restaurant in the near future. Overall excellent experience.

We booked a reservation on new year’s eve. Arrived on time only to find out that they are backed up and our table was not available. Got our table at 11 pm. Reservation was 9:30. Did not get any notification prior that our table will not be available on time. We ordered right away but we still didn’t get our main entrees until midnight. Food was great. And our waiter was so kind and apologetic for all the delay. Giving it 4 stars for the kind waiter and manager who took care of our bill on the house.

We typically love the Bristol which is why we booked a reservation with them for New Years Eve.
Upon arriving for our 9:15 reservation, we were told that the wait would still be 45 min. After explaining the logic of reservations to the hostess, she told us it wasn't her problem. Unable to find an alternative on new years eve, we waited an extra 1.5 hours before being seated by another rude hostess.
After waiting 30 min for our first course, we waited an additional 40 minutes for the second course which was just cold noodles.
At one point I noticed that none of the tables had food at 11:30 and that there were only bussers on the floor, no wait staff or managers to be found.
While the manager was eventually found and attempted to remedy the fiasco with a bottle of wine, my party and I were really disappointed with the experience and will not be going back to the Bristol.

Have been to the Bristol 3 Times now. The first 2 visits went well. It was expensive, but it was nice. So we booked it for New Years Eve.

From the get-go things weren’t going well. They told us they were running behind and it could be another 30 minutes to get our table. It ended up being a little over an hour. In that time, I saw the poor hostes get berated by guest after guest upset that their New Year’s Eve plans needed adjusting. We didn’t make a big deal of it, but it felt like they weren’t handling the situation correctly. They didn’t volunteer any solutions to make it right... a round of drinks or anything like that.

We ended up having to ring in the New year's at the restaurant, which was NOT our plan for the night. When I make a reservation, I expect to have a table at the time I reserve it, not an hour later. It threw everything out of whack.

Also, about ringing in the new year... We figured, "maybe they'll send glasses of Champaign out to everyone." The table next to us thought so too and asked the waitress if this was so. The waitress said she didn't know and went to ask her manager. She came back with 2 glasses of Champaign for them, and nothing for the rest of the restaurant. It was like they wanted to share them up, but not get anything for anyone else.

It really left us with a bad feeling about The Bristol. We spent over $200 that night, and felt neglected and taken advantage of. We won't be back.

When I reserved the dinner, I asked to have a table by the window in the 2nd FL in which the person I talked to said there haven’t been much reservations made so i wouldnt have to worry about it. It turned out I got a table in a little corner in the middle of restaurant. The pasta was salty. I cannot understand why i waited so long for the first two courses as they were chosen for us. The service was so slow but ironically, the check came out really quickly when we asked. Overall, I was at the restaurant for 3.5 hours and not a great experience for New Year’s Eve.

The food was delicious, I had the pappardelle and my date had the burger. I took a bite of the burger and it was one of the best burgers I have ever had. We started off with the green bean appetizer and it was quite tasty. The drink list contains several options, I opted for the Moscow mule which was very fresh and gingery. I look forward to returning.

Was able to make a last minute reservation on a Thursday evening for my sister and I while she was in town from LA. There was only one other table when we arrived, but more people came throughout our meal. Our server was great! Very informative and made good suggestions. Was there when we needed him, but did not hover. The food was so good! We started out with the burrata for an app, and ordered cacio e pepe and the raviolo (one large single ravioli) and the server said he would bring out our other app, the monkey bread with our mains, as it paired well with them. He was right! The bread was great for dipping in our dishes. The drink list was good, and we enjoyed our pear and St Germaine cocktail.
