   We had one of the best experiences we've ever had in a restaurant!! It was simply amazing, not just the food and presentation of the plates, but the service was also outstanding!!! We were celebrating my husband's birthday, they had a bd card signed by everyone, they brought our desert with candles and the chef came out to say hello. Everyone was very attentive and nice: the hosts, all the servers, the barman, the chef and a cook who came several times to check on us. I would go back anytime!!!

   Wonderful place -- superb bartender who stocks hard-to-find spirits like Luxard, Green Chartreuse and Creme de Violette. Fantastic food which is presented beautifully and a truly kind staff. Highly recommended.

   Really great experience. I had the vegetarian tasting menu and was really blown away by the creativity, the flavors and textures of the food. All the staff were very attentive and welcoming. Highly recommend.

    Exquisite! We did the "8-Course Experience," and what an experience! Dishes were perfectly arranged and timed. Excellent wine list. GM and Chef were very down to earth and personable. Would do it 1000 times over again. We are from out of town, but hopeful to make it back for the refreshed Summer menu beginning in July.

    Food was really delicious. Ricotta ravioli with peas, pea gazpacho, salmon/garbanzo tartar, chocolate entremet. All really delicious. Service was top-notch. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable.

    The food was upscale fine dining (8 course tasting menu) that tested our taste buds. The chef was able to meet our dietary restrictions (pregnancy) quickly and without fuss. Our server was very knowledgable, communicated well, and was great as a server. They do require the entire table to eat the tasting menu if one person orders it. This made our final bill somewhere in the $350 range after 2 tastings ($125 each), one canned beer ($12), still water ($7.50), tax, and gratuity.

    Fabulous experience! The chef's tasting menu and wine pairings were exquisite! Incredibly attentive staff. We were there to celebrate our daughter's college graduation, and they made the entire experience absolutely perfect!

    The Bristol was great! Our server was excellent (friendly, funny, very accommodating) and the food was wonderful...highly recommend the rabbit pesto, as well as the asparagus/caviar appetizer! Would definitely recommend!

    Celebrated our anniversary with the 8-course tasting menu and it was phenomenal. The staff was super attentive , friendly and knowledgeable of all courses being served. Lots of nice touches throughout the evening including an anniversary card signed by the staff for us, it’s that kind of place. Warm and lively room, fairly noisy but in an energetic way, not disruptive. Food was inventive and delicious, and well worth the price. Can’t wait to come back!

    The tasting menu combined with the wine pairing was amazing. Everything was exquisitely presented and the staff didn’t miss a beat with coursing, menu and wine knowledge, and table touching by almost every staff member. Will definitely be back!

    Isabella was the most wonderful server I’ve encountered. Kinda, knowledgeable, helpful, made the experience an unforgettable delight. The food was absolutely superb! The saddest part was I was getting full as more food was coming. But every dish was the most delicious adventure my date and I have been on. 10/10 on everything.

    We opted for the early bird tasting with the wine pairing, but the food is the same as the full tasting. I started with an endive salad, which seemed a day old, it was still tasty but nothing special. Then the pasta dish which was the worse of the five dishes. It was swimming in some sort of Italian dressing with two mediocre and limp slices of what might have been bacon or prosciutto—it was hard to tell. The lamb roulade was amazing as was it’s wine pairing of a cote du Rhone. The dessert and it’s dessert wine pairing were outstanding, however the first two wine pairing were abysmal and actually fought against any flavor the first two sad dishes might have had. I’ve been going to the Bristol since they opened and this was the first time I was surprised. I will go back but will probably stick to the excellent choices on their menu.

    Attended for Easter brunch. Small menu but varied selections. I had the short ribs & they were exquisite. Best I've ever had. Would definitely come back to try different dishes.

    The tasting menu was exceptional. Every course showcase complex flavors that perfectly complemented each other. Expert wine pairings. The quality of each ingredient was evident throughout. Knowledgeable staff and involved management. We are thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

    Dined with friends at The Bristol for Restaurant Week. Our party of six had the 4 course tasting menu. Gem Lettuce had a delicious carrot vinaigrette; Farro Risotto was my favorite course due to the flavorful pesto!; Short Rib Was prepared perfectly with lovely sauce; Basque cake melts in your mouth and the sherbet enhanced the flavor. The service was attentive and informative. Overall a very enjoyable evening.

    Great food. We did Chicago restaurant week and were slightly disappointed with size of meal. All 4 members left hungry. The fish was 2x2 inches which was incredibly small for price of meal. It was delicious just wish there was more.

    What an awesome restaurant. The menu was very creative. The little gem salad was a burst of ingrediants and flavors - risotto very savory - short ribs tender and tasty - and an old world dessert that was over the top. Our server Il Moon was very attentive and had wonderful smiling eyes. The place was packed from the time we arrived to when we left. This is a great dinner spot if you can get a reservation and enjoy the Chefs creativity.

    One of my favorite Chicago restaurants. Have been many times and it’s an exceptional experience every time. The staff rarely rotates so we get the same excellent service with every visit. Can’t recommend enough.

    The service we received was great. Our waiter, Imun, I believe was awesome. He explained each course and answered in depth questions about different food that piqued our interest. We met the beverage director who was also amazing. We discussed how the cocktails seamlessly connected with he menu. The food is one of a kind, the level of detail, plating, creativity and taste was some of the best food I have ever tasted. The chicken liver mousse melts in your mouth. All the food was delectable. We will definitely be back over and over.
