Possibly my favorite restaurant in Chicago! Get the monkey bread + raviolo.
lovely duck and duck fries, generous serving of greens (collards) with the duck; great cocktail; appreciated that the waiter let us split a glass of (nice) pinot. Not our first visit and we'll be back
We were seated on main level. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. We brought our 6 month old along and the staff had high chair ready and helped us to our seats.
The food was fast and flavorful. We would definitely go back.
Recommend the duck confit it was excellent. We shared several things at the table. Other favorites included the striped bass the mushroom risotto and the duck fat fries were killer!!
Wonderful evening! Everyone talked about how they loved dinner all weekend!
I'd been to The Bristol multiple times before and was happy to go back for Valentine's Day. Luckily some tables opened up on Tuesday and they didn't have a prix fixe which we both were happy about. We had a few items from the special menu and a few classics (and the basque cake) and everything was served quickly and explained by the person that brought it out to us. We never waited for drinks or water refills. While it was busy there the tables weren't so close together so we could converse freely. The Bristol has been consistently good and I'd be happy to go back for another meal.
Had high hopes for the Bristol but everything from the service to the food fell way short of expectations.
We had the best experience at The Bristol on Valentine’s Day! The food was delicious, especially the pasta.
The ambiance and service were both spectacular.
The entire experience exceeded all of our expectations and we will be back!
We live around the corner so it is a neighborhood gem ...... we usually sit at the bar and the service is always great ..... along with the drinks
Met some friends for brunch. The selection of menu items was great and we all enjoyed the meal, especially the basque cake and the pork hash. Our server was great but unfortunately we were seated in the upstairs area where the larger groups and the young children were also seated. I didn't even know thus was an option as I had always been seated in the main room on the ground floor.
my friend and i brought our kiddos (11 mths and 7 mths) and the staff was super accommodating and so thoughtful. Definitely will be going back with my son!
The food here is always great, terrific brunch menu, but dinner is also terrific, lots of seasonal well prepared dishes. Service is excellent, from the bussers to the bartenders to the servers and manager, everyone is friendly and attentive to every need or want. I don’t live in the neighborhood but always feel welcomed as if I do.

Amazing Food and more amazing staff and service. A must go to place!
My friends were visiting from out of town and we decided to try The Bristol's Restaurant Week menu. We loved the food, especially the burger and the basque cake. The drinks were also excellent. Highly recommended!
Top notch all the way around! Will definitely be back!
Service was spotty. Monkey bread was delicious, but I can make that at home for much less than 8 dollars. All the food was unremarkable, except the basque cake, which was hard to the point of being inedible. Disappointing.
Went for Restaurant Week. We got 8 dishes altogether and all of them were delicious. Highlight was the Basque Cake.
We went to the Bristol for our first time during Restaurant Week. We did the Restaurant Week menu along with the wine pairing. We got there a little early before our reservation and grabbed a drink at the bar. It too a very long time to get a menu and our drinks at the bar but they were tasty once received. Everyone was very busy and they do have a happy hour special. The food was extremely good! Both my husband and I had the fried oysters as our first course then shared everything else on the menu. The pastas were superb. The wine also paired very well with the different courses. It’s not a big place but it felt nice and cozy. Don’t go here if you are in a hurry, but if you are there to enjoy a good meal, drinks and company then I’d highly recommend it!!! I’d go back in a heartbeat!
The restaurant week menu was delicious, we very much enjoyed our dinner. Great wine pairings too. Our server, Kenneth, was very attentive.
Wonderful service. Crab pasta was great!
Delicious!! We had the burrata, followed by the hanger steak and pasta with crab and lobster sauce. Everything was spectacular!!
Seated quickly, efficient service, tasty food
The food was so good! And the service was awesome. Our water glass was always filled😋
Sunday brunch was tasty, and service was good and quick. A bit noisy for me, but not unmanageable.
Restaurant week visit - everything done so well I am wondering how I hadn’t been here yet? Loved every bite and wine pairings were excellent.
The service was definitely wonderful. I came with a group and we really loved the ambiance of the second floor. The pasta wasn't as good as I was expecting but the Amish chicken and Mushroom risotto was definitely worth it. They are known for the Basque cake and it was amazing!
Restaurant week - LOVED EVERYTHING. I booked just for Friday night dinner out and we were thrilled to have the option for the $44 restaurant week menu. We also got the wine pairings and had a wonderful experience. Will definitely come back soon. I expect the cacio e pepe to become a go-to dish for us!
Went for restaurant week and the food was phenomenal. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!
