Set in the village of Brisley on a beautiful common, The Bell has exceptional views of unadulterated Norfolk countryside with its big skies. Ideally situated between coast and city, it is the perfect base from which you can enjoy all that Norfolk has to offer.

The newly renovated 17th century pub retains many of its old charms, while embracing the new, and is embellished with eclectic interiors.

The large beer garden and croquet lawn are the perfect tonic to a busy week and watching cricket on the common, pint in hand as the sun goes down, is an ideal way to spend a lazy summer's evening.

Working with local suppliers, Head Chef Hervé Stouvenel creates sensational seasonal dishes, full of fantastic flavours, combining classic English cuisine with global influences. As a freehouse, the broad selection of ales, beers, wines and spirits means you’re certain to find old favourites or discover new delights.

Set in beautifully landscaped gardens, The Bell has two separate dinning areas and a large bar area. The Bell's Green Room can be privately secured along with the pubs cozy Snug, which when combined can seat approximately 40 people for a sit down meal. The Bell's Garden Room opens out to a large patio area, both of which seat in the region of 30 people (weather permitting).

Excellent host , had the meal booked at 8.30, but arrived 3/4hr early, were able to find a snug place to sit and was advised that we could order from there & go to our table when ready , brilliant, nice range of beers etc A great night , didn’t leave until 11pm , we were the last ones there Thank you Brisley Bell

Had a Fabulous meal with friends, we all enjoyed it. Sea bream with a hot salad very yum and chocolate pecan brownie for desert. We will be going there again very soon.

From the moment you enter you are greeted with a “Genuine” smile. Bar and Restaurant staff all very welcoming, knowledgeable and wanting to help. I have no negatives bar that I had to leave as they were closing. It was my second visit and most definitely will not be my last.

Had a lovely night out here. Our waiter was lovely, the food was very nice and the building was beautiful. Only thing i disliked was the way one staff member spoke to another behind the bar, i thought her manner was quite rude and i felt for the poor girl she was being so rude to. This is not something i appreciated seeing especially in what was such a lovely place where all other staff members were so friendly.

A most pleasant experience, as usual. Some bread with the starters (for mopping up sauces & juices) as standard and more vegetables with the main course would have been appreciated....
