   Friendly and attentive staff, always good service, food gets 4 stars as there was only one vegetarian option for my husband, but what they offered he liked and we all enjoyed our meals. There was a large birthday party in when we visited, not that it was a problem, the staff were very busy and still made sure we were looked after. Thank you.

   We had a friend over from Norway so she stayed at the bridge and apart from her room been v cold(heating went off at 11) she liked it. Four of us met her for dinner on the Wednesday evening . I had steak and the others had chicken and fish. All very nice cooked just as I asked. The sweet was so so bad apple tart tartan the pastry was not even cooked but raw and half an apple raw with a little cream on it. I did send it back and did not pay for it but a free coffee would have been nice. Not a cheap sweet at £6.50. The restaurant was very empty and a lady told me that they had just stopped the offer that had been on for a long time.

   Very average meal,nothing special, service was good and attentive food let it down.

   We dine quite early and the ambience is not as it should be. As the evening advances with more diners there, it gets much more comfy congenital.

   Always a pleasure to eat here, 321 menu which is excellent value, plenty of dishes to choose from always a good fish dish on the menu. White table cloths give the restaurant a formal touch but, the atmosphere is relaxed. Nice bar area to have a drink in before your meal, parking can be a challenge on busy evenings but, there is plenty of parking near by.

   The 39.50 3 course meal for 2 people with a bottle of wine was absolutely beautiful, definitely a gem!

   A good package deal, three courses and a bottle of wine. A fine birthday meal for two at a fair set price. We will return.

   Excellent food, staff very attentive, not rushed. Lunch at a leisurely pace.

    It's like a time warp. Food was average and over priced. Ordered steak and didn't get a steak knife. Waitress came up to us after our starter and offered the dessert menu and giggled when we said we hadn't had our main. No atmosphere. No service. Boiling hot. Do not bother.
