Our server Teonna make the experience better she knows all the menu and explain our option’s the food was tasty and delicious, our first time there and not the last one, we planning be back in happy hour time
Great service. Our waiter Rosa was attentive and helpful. The blackberry chicken and waffles was very good. Will return.
Food, drinks, service was excellent
We had dined there before and food was good, however this last time, it was terrible!
We ordered the prosciutto and fig jam flat bread which arrived without any prosciutto whatsoever. The roasted and spicy chick peas were nothing more that a bunch of chick peas straight out of the can, no hint of any cooking method, certainly not spicy, actually totally bland. The short rib was supposed to come with carrots but they told us that they had run out of carrots, however no substitute accompaniment.
The waiter was very animated.
Overall very poor experience, will not return.
Our avocado toast was delicious
Description of the food and what we actually got was different.
Went for brunch and had a great experience! The shrimp and spinach dip was amazing! The breakfast pizza was also really good and full of flavor. The star for us was the banana bread french toast which we devoured so fast there was no time for a photo
The brunch was a really delicious combo of food and the portions were great. I’d say their dinner menu is a little stronger but the food was still very tasty. 100% would go again!
It took 20 minutes for someone to come to our table and start taking our order and that is after I got up and asked for anyone to come to our table. The manager was rude and confrontational when asked about availability of certain items. The food was not worth the money. I would never recommend anyone to go there.
Service was absolutely terrible. Food was not good. Will not be coming back ever again.
Was there for a Birthday Celebration after waiting for the hostess to give us a table almost 10 minutes. We decided to leave. Everyone there was overwhelming and understaffed
Fantastic food and service. The herbed chicken was well seasoned and moist...delicious. The margarita pizza was also very good. Owner was very gracious and helpful. Definitely will return when in the area.
I may have had higher expectations based on the reviews I read, so I was a bit disappointed. When we arrived at our reservation time, we were immediately told there were no more Mimosas. I was put off at the assumption that we were only coming for that, whereas, I don’t drink! I ordered waffles and fried chicken with blackberry syrup. It sounded delicious but the presentation was way below my expectation and the taste was disappointing. I hope this is helpful for improvement. The location is nice but parking is horrible.
I really enjoyed the food here. My daughter and I split a pizza and my wife had a burger. You can taste the quality and the food. We really enjoyed it. The drinks were great! I really recommend a old fashion
Service was excellent. The street in the Downtown Dadeland is blocked off so very easy to find a table outside.
The restaurant is a little pricier than what Open Table indicates especially for drinks and desert.
Loved the outdoor dining area
The fig and goat flatbread is delicious.
The burgers were moist and tasted farm fresh.
The chocolate cake with Basil ice cream (amazing) was a delight.
The drinks were superb and heavy poured.
Highly recommend for your next dining experience.
Ask for Michael.
Awful overpriced food and bad service.
Located in a very nice place that I never knew it existed and I lived in Miami almost all my life. Downtown Dadeland is a most if you haven’t been. The restaurant was very nice, service was great and food delicious
We waited an hour for food, then I never got my meal until my entire family was fine eating and it was not correct. The food server argue with me that I was wrong about the item-instead of looking at the menu. She was wrong, so they didn’t charge me, but won’t ever go back. Avoid.
Best service anywhere in a long time! Good food and good bar selection. Will definitely go back
Delicious Brunch and Drinks! Great friendly staff and great food!
I had a reservation at 1:30 PM, walked in and no one attended me or my group at front desk or helped us until about 20 minutes later. Once sat, we had to call anybody that walked by our table to ask who would eventually serve us and when we were going to be attended, after about another 20-25 minutes. Once our server finally arrived, we ordered the entire order to attempt to avoid being delayed more. We were told they were no longer serving two dishes so we had to randomly chose from limited brunch menu to at least eat something. Food took really long to arrive and from where we were sitting, we could see the person in charge of arranging food and delivering it. We witnessed them using bare hands to touch food, no gloves or utensils, just bare hands and then grabbing random object and going to other customers tales without washing hands. Half the dishes we're good and the rest just ok. I had made a specific note on reservation for my fathers birthday and was totally ignored about the occasion. For having family travel in to the city to try this place out, it was terrible. FYI when we were finally seated, the place emptied out a bit so it wasn't as packed and busy to justify the delays. I had to get up for the restroom and to grab waiters attention and almost fell several times. The floors were wet everywhere, even under tables and nothing was being done to get them cleaned, tremendous fall hazard this was. Absolutely not coming back and definitely not recommending to anyone. Terrible birthday meal that was for my father.
Food, drinks and service were AMAZING 👌🏻 Our waitress Tiana was so sweet, kind and helpful! Will definitely be back again!!! The Fig Flat bread and short ribs were WOW 🔥
We had a lovely evening. Good food and service.
Limited sized portions.
Kitchen took forever to send out food. It took forever for my server to come by the table to offer refills… sat with no coffee for 30 minutes while I watched my food get cold in the window. When the food runner came by to drop off rest of the food I asked if he could zap my food, he said no microwave but they could remake. I said heck no… it would take forever to get food back. Food was ice cold with little flavor.
The flat pizza had no flavor and too much balsamic vinegar…
I know it’s not the restaurant’s fault but we parked our car in a back corner spot behind Brandsmart; we thought that the site wasn’t part of Brandsmart’s parking…Well, it was and our car was towed…we thought it was stolen…we noticed a sign nearby. and called the phone number in the info. and it had been towed by a towing co. and they charged $101 and spend we had to go in an Uber 25 miles ( $20 more)away from there to recover our car….an awful experience….
Slow night! Food was okay
Food was ok. Drinks were ok. Prices were high for what we had. The worst part is that we had a later reservation and it was as if we were being thrown out. We were hardly done with our food and the servers -or could be some sort of manager- were picking up our plates when we were hardly done. I still was actually eating when one of them tried. They were basically trying to get us out of there and it wasn’t even past closing time. If you don’t want a party to enjoy themselves - where a party of 6 spent around $450-500 with drinks, appetizers and meals- then make sure you don’t allow them to reserve a table close to your closing time. So had we been there way after closing time- and we were the only ones there - then I understand- I worked in the restaurant business. But this was rude. The place had other guests- not that many because it simply wasn’t even half full when we got there- but there were a couple of other tables. They began to turn the lights on and make it clear they wanted us to leave. Again. If we had been there way past time- I get it - but it wasn’t the case. We will NEVER go there again. The food was not worth our bill or the rude service that we received. I even took a business card home to email them about our experience- bc it was shockingly rude- but didn’t bother because I’m sure the restaurant will close down with their current offering and rude service.
Had high hopes but food was cold, prosciutto was old, and wish it was better but sadly no. The avocado toast and margarita pizza was good as well as the sweet potato fríes.
Nice ambiance. Plenty of staff. Pricey with expensive side dishes.
Husband liked his meal.
It took 80 minutes to get the wings out. Food took forever too.
Must change management and Chef!! Don't waste your money. The service was super slow. It took us 2 hours to get our food for a table of 5. The food was VERY overcooked and tasted like old burned oil.The truffles fries were burned and the kids chicken fingers we had to return twice and still it came back burn. The pasta was over seasoned and the shrimp were literally uneateable.
I had read some great reviews that's why we tried it.. COVID has definitely affected this restaurant.. only 1 chef, two waiters on a Friday Night! 😡 will not come back.
It’s always a great time at The Brick the happy hour specials are fantastic! The staff was great tonight and will be back soon!!
Thanks for excellent service Teanna!
Went for Sunday Brunch. Very good selection and service was too-notch.
The service and establishment were amazing. The food was a little bland and lacked flavor. The wine I had was good tho. Not sure if this is how it is or because it was at the end of the week.
Our server was very nice and on point. However, the kitchen was low on supplies. There were many items in the menu that they did not have because the items sold out during brunch. Our server apologized (wasn’t his fault) and as a courtesy they brought our table free shots.
Food was tasty and we had a good time. My only suggestion is to pleases me sure you prep and have enough food for the day.
Very good service and the portions for sharing worked well for us.
