The Brewer's Table
We also feature guest taps starring a few friends and favorites, a thoughtfully selected wine list and a full bar punctuated by craft cocktails inspired by the kitchen and brewing process.
We invite you to come by and stay awhile.
Grab a seat at the bar, enjoy a meal in the dining room, join a group for a special experience at The Brewer’s Table on the mezzanine level or throw back some beers on the patio. No matter your agenda, we’ve got a space, a brew and a bite (or more) to suit you.
2018 Restaurant of the Year, Austin Monthly
Went for restaurant week. Great variety of food for the prix fixe menu that was all delicious. Great selection of house made beers as well as guest taps. Will definitely come again
Slow service, but the food was worth the wait.
We went during Austin Restaurant Week and did the 3-course prix fixe menu for $50 per person. It took nearly an hour to get our first course. Our reservation was for 7:30 pm, but we did not leave until 9:45 pm because it took so long to get our food. The place seemed a bit unorganized and the food itself simply was not worth the wait. The staff were friendly, but I constantly had to flag down a server to get more water while waiting forever. Would not recommend.
Restaurant was super cute but the food was just okay. It wasn’t anything special.
My husband and I tried BT because I’ve seen it on a couple “beat restaurants in Austin” lists for 2019. The building/environment is nice, the service was pretty good, and the beer selection is fun (if you like beer, which my husband does!!). We had the bread (waaaay over priced for bread but delicious), the sweet potato dip (delicious and a “must order”), the ribs (just ok), and the roasted chicken (cooked perfectly but it’s just roasted chicken). I had the mezcal drink (not to my liking) and the Paloma (great). My husband tried about 6 different beers and liked most of them (except the beet beer which he was was the worst beer he’s ever had, but he also doesn’t like beets). Overall, it was a pretty good visit but I don’t think we’ll go back unless we are already in east Austin; it’s pretty far east for us.
My husband and I took our friend here for his birthday, and we had a lovely time! I really enjoyed tasting all nine beers, and the food was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the scallop entree. The charcuterie plate was excellent as well.
Great food and great beer. Nice staff and beautiful layout. Really enjoyed the wings, oysters and roasted chicken.
Amazing food and selection. Service was excellent. Drinks are amazing. Great location.
Awesome! Highly recommend
Great food, great booth, easy to hear everyone. Waiter was super accommodating to let me try a few beers before I decided on one.:-)
Great concept. Great food. Great drinks. Josh was an excellent server. I do wish there were one or two vegetable dishes besides the sweet potato dip. And the ice cream cone is laughable. Should be advertised as a mini cone as it's the size of my thumb - still tasty though. We will be back!
Amazing food, excellent service, cool vibe
Great food and ambiance. Customer service was pretty good too.
the beer is just OK and the food is a little bland for my taste
Upon arriving, I wanted to check-in to our 8:30pm reservation with the receptionist. She was occupied with seating an earlier party, so I directed my attention to another member of the restaurant staff standing next to her. When I mentioned that I have a reservation for 2 the receptionist looked up and snapped, “I will get to you as soon as I am able to seat the folks before you.” Seeing that she was clearly frazzled, I let it go.
It was unfortunate that we were seated directly next to a party of 6-8 that were quite loud, exacerbated by concrete floors and no separation. Despite, we had visited once before and enjoyed our brunch experience, so we were hoping the dinner experience would be the same. The limited items on the menu was exciting since we felt the chefs could focus on making them outstanding. When our waiter finally made it to us, we had a few questions that he was not equip to answer, such as, what type of fish is your whole fish feature? Waiter responded with he looked at it earlier and it was about this big [hand gesture] but wasn’t sure what type of fish, and even though he mentioned he would check on it for us, he never did. We went ahead and ordered the whole fish and the main scallop course. We ordered bread to start which was sub-par, in both temperature and cut. Perhaps serving it a room temperature caused the crust to be so chewy that my jaw was exhausted after one slice.
After getting our bread, we waited over an hour and still our main courses did not arrive. No waiter to be found til I flagged him down. His response is there was big party ahead of us and free dessert will make up for it. Since our concern was hunger now and not dessert later, I wanted to get confirmation that our food was being prepared, which no one could tell us, so we opted to leave. The manager came by to offer a major discount but again, it wasn’t about the price, it was about getting our food. If it wasn’t for the manager, we would’ve given the place 1 star.
Great food and service! We sat outside and it was a great choice because inside was packed. The lamb chop was by far the best thing on the menu.
The owner was there and came over to our table multiple times was extremely friendly and even showed us to this amazing sculpture they have in front. We will be going back for sure!
Wonderfully inventive beers, excellent food, and super knowledgeable staff. Exceptional experience. Can’t wait to go back.
The ribs were over-cooked, my friends chicken wings weren't that great. I ate here before and the ribs were perfectly cooked. Consistency seems to be lacking, unfortunately.
The beer was definitely the highlight. We liked all the ones we tried! The food was okay, but not really worth the price. My favorite item was the sweet potato dip.
Portions are smaller and more expensive than the pictures on their site. Overpriced.
Call in advanced to make sure the online menu mirrors what will be available for your meal. We were disappointed that the menu happened to change overnight.
Super cute outdoorsy feeling restaurant with nice calm live music
We didn’t have good service or good food. We’ve been going here since it opened. Unfortunately this will be our last visit. The menu options have changed and do not offer anything unique for the price. The menu used to be more creative and was a good value for the amount of food you got. Our waiter appeared distracted all evening. This was overall a disappointing experience. We wish it was like it used to be.
Food was ok but overpriced. Would come back for a happy hour.
Dining at the Brewer's table is an experience. The service is impeccable and the food is super yummy and very unique. It's designed to pair well with beer using many of the same ingredients, albeit in ways you never imagined. The atmosphere is relaxed. I recommend sitting at the chef's corner for at least one of your visits (face it, you'll be going back). Arguably one of the best restaurants in Austin and it's unique to Austin.
The portion sizes for pricing was definitely off. The food was average but also left still hungry.
While I appreciate the desire to use only local fresh produce, we very much missed the excellent steak tartar that we enjoyed last week and cannot understand why it was removed. There should be a better balance between maintaining popular dishes and introducing new taste adventures. Our waiter, Wood, was not very attentive, particularly since the restaurant was not busy on Thursday.
A beautiful upscale beer lover's dream restaurant. We arrived as it opened for the day so it was a bit quieter than I'm sure it can get. The outside patio seemed like a great space for a cocktail hour or mixer. The bartender, James, was very knowledgeable about his beers and local spirits. Overall, between the great flavors of the food and the excellent service and hospitality, it will leave you wanting to come back for more.
When I arrived to my reservation, it was closed. So I had to go and have dinner somewhere else
Great place! Love the food and don’t miss the ice cream!
The food was absolutely delicious and completely different that most restaurants! Beer was top notch too.
From the welcome to the kind goodbye, you feel part of the family. The food is amazing - a true dining experience.
Excellent and have ready recommended the Brewer’s Table to others.
Very interesting space with creative food and drinks. Vegan options and excellent beer from Drew.
This restaurant is top notch. Some of the best food I’ve ever had. Also the concept of integrating beer into all of their dishes is great and leads to some truly unique combos. Also their beer is great!
The food options were creative, but the portions were so small as to be laughable. Extremely overpriced. Would never recommend this and would never return.
My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary at the Brewer's Table. Even though it was noted and I saw it noted on our reservation, nobody in the restaurant even acknowledged this event.
The food we thought was very good. Yet the next day, we both had stomach problems. Not sure if the food was prepared properly.
We thought the guest beers were better than the in-house beers we tried. The in-house beers were certain nothing like we had ever tried before, but in our opinion, the flavors did not enhance the styles of beers we chose.
We really did love the concept of the place, and we both really wanted to like the place, but not this time. It is a new place, so I hope they learn and grow with experience.
I really wanted to like this place but it was underwhelming in so many ways. I came here on Memorial Day with a group of friends after a yoga class that they do monthly on the front porch. The ambiance was great as its structured to be a modern brewery experience. The service however wasn't anywhere near as fun as the vibe of the restaurant. Our waitress was very unattentive on a fairly slow evening as she made little attempts to come check in our table which caused us to order less food due to her negligence. The food also was somewhat of a let down as it was flavorful but not worth the price for how small of a portion you get. I understand that tapas style is the new trend in Austin and I'm pretty used to the portion sizes but the broccoli curry that we ordered was an insult as it only had one tiny piece of broccoli in the whole dish and over half the dish was curry sauce. Overall not my favorite dining experience and not sure I would ever come back here for a meal. I'd recommend sticking to this place for happy hour as the beer and wine list were way more extensive than the food list was.
AMAZING. The food, the service, the ambiance. It felt like such an intimate and unique dinner, and one that we will remember for a long time.
My boyfriend and I popped in for brunch while on the Eastside. We’d heard great things from discerning friends and wanted to check it out. Every single staff member we came into contact with was genuinely friendly which is really important to me. The brunch menu wasn’t super big, but we really enjoyed the pastrami hash, deviled eggs and breakfast sausage. They make a solid Bloody Mary as well. The space is just beautiful, and I can’t wait to go back and try their beers. Our server brought us a sample of the beet beer, and it did not disappoint! I look forward to dining there for dinner soon.
