Designed by award-winning architects Foster & Partner, The Brasserie at Sage Gateshead delivers refined European cuisine using quality, locally-sourced ingredients. In this cosmopolitan hideout, guests can enjoy enthralling views of Newcastle's winding river, and both the Tyne and Millennium bridges.

The Brasserie will open to support all concerts at Sage Gateshead and offers an outstanding menu with something for everyone. Pre show evening service starts from 5pm and provides diners with a delicious two and three course menu.

Your table will be yours for the evening, so you can order dessert and coffee to be waiting for you at the interval. Please note that the brasserie will be running an American Diner menu on the 19th, 20th and 21st July!

My wife and I were early and shown to a table right away. The food and wine were delicious, the service excellent - the server Maisie particularly attentive and friendly - and value for money very acceptable. We would come to the Brasserie in future just for the meal! Certainly we will do so for the next event that we attend at the Sage.

Service was a bit slow but then they offered dessert in the interval, which worked very well!

The Brasserie is a good place to have a meal prior to attending a performance. The menu had a few choices though was a bit overpriced. My husband had Rhubarb and blood orange torte with candied rhubarb. The torte was tasteless with only a tiny amount of rhubarb. There was 1 piece of candied rhubarb which was like a small twig!

Pre-performance dinner with two friends and all four of us were agreed that food, drink and service were very good. Handy also to be able to return to table for coffee in the interval.
