French
The Brasserie, on the lower level of Bazati, offers guests a place to drink and dine that evokes the brasseries of 1920s Paris, where drinks, dining and excellent service met with the energetic pulse of daily neighborhood life.

The Brasserie sports a comfortable patio that overlooks the Atlanta Beltline, along with two inviting bars and indoor seating that encourages guests to feel at home. We offer a largely French selection of well-curated wines and a cocktail program rooted in 1920s Paris (think French 75s and Boulevardiers). The menu includes French Brasserie classics such as steak frites, coq au vin, steak tartare and tart tatin.

Guests can start with breakfast or lunch, move to dinner and end their meal with a sip of Sauternes. The Brasserie, with its sweeping view of the city’s skyline overlooking the Beltine’s Eastside Trail, is a Francophile’s secret we’re willing to share.

Very entertaining!!! Great people watching for sure. Food was good. Noise was kind of on the loud side. Service: tried very hard to be good but fake and mediocre to be honest for an upscale casual spot. Went for a drink on rooftop afterwards, they nailed the views. Epic fail on music! Seriously awful music, cruise line called & wants their soundtrack back.

The leadership of the restaurant is first class and it is clear they are trying to improve the service to a higher level. Like all service establishments in this day and time it is a struggle. The wait staff has a few outstanding additions who came to my rescue as I had bragged about the restaurant the night before to the two friends who joined me for the evening. These staffers are worth noting.. David, PJ and Brandon. Keep them around as the good ones are so hard to find.

By the way, the complex should fire without delay the car valet service...they set the tone for evening. Abrupt, rude surly and mean...even the restaurant wait staff pointed out the horrific service.

I will return as the food was great, the location is amazing and everyone deserves a second chance.

Sadly they didn’t tell us the kitchen closed. So we only ordered about half of our dinner. When we tried to order more we were told they closed! So our 8:00 dinner was cut short. I would’ve loved a warning.

Made reservations thru open table. We made a note that this was an anniversary on the reservation. Beautiful night outside but was told they weren’t seating outside because of the weather. Meanwhile the restaurants on Both sides of Bizatis were doing incredible business outside! Really incredible!
Terrible service at the bar. Even the couple next to us at the bar was frustrated by the lack of service. The drinks were not anything great either.
When we were seated for our reservation we were put at a table that was between two other tables , one a four top of diners and another that was open. The hostess then seated the open two top with three VERY loud women. We asked the hostess if we could be moved to a two top by the windows. . The restaurant was not even half full. We explained that it was our anniversary dinner. She put us at a table at One of the retail rooms at the side of the restaurant with no one in it AND next to a rack of dirty dishes.i asked if we could possibly sit at one of the tables by the window ( since there were several open tables in the front room). No reason given, she said no. No manager was called to come up with a solution...even after we told her we made the reservation on open table and noted it was our anniversary. Even after we told them we were leaving, Nohing was done!! As we walked out onto the porch we saw a few tables on the porch being served. It made us so mad. What the heck!

Parking was a huge mess, valet was so slow and disorganized. It would have been easier if we could just park ourselves. The restaurant was hard to find with no signs. I ordered Sparkling Rose, it came to me flat, they had to take it back and bring me another one. For me, food was mediocre at best. Everything I ordered was super salty and I love salt don’t get me wrong but the chef is particularly heavy handed. I had the onion soup, it had good flavor but was salty. For mains I had the Coq au Vin, this time it was so salty I had to send it back. Waiter was very nice, he told me the kitchen could fix it, I reluctantly agreed and on hind sight I should have ordered something else. The second plate came back just as salty, I didn’t want to make a fuss so I took a couple of bites and the rest went into the bin. Oh yes, the Coq au Vin also came with frites, they were cold and soggy, c’est la vie. Dessert was nice but not the tarte au citron I was expecting. My hubby and friend’s husband both had the escargot and the steak frites and they enjoyed it. My girl friend had the onion soup as well and only took a few bites. Btw, when they served us the soup they did not give us spoons so we ate the soup with a fork for the first few minutes. My friend ordered the Moule Frites and it was also pretty salty, she didn’t finish it. Everyone else loved their dessert. Our waiter was nice and had good energy but I think he was a little overwhelmed, the lady that brought out our food made us feel like we were in a dingy diner and not a fine dining restaurant. This restaurant needs to get all its kinks worked out, they have a long road ahead of them. I wish them all the best. Will I ever go back? The food being just meh, I don’t believe I will brave the nightmarish valet parking to ever come back.

Beautiful space with comfortable and private seating. Service was excellent. Food was delicious, but felt that each entree was missing one ingredient. I had the scallops over rice, and felt like a heavier lemongrass foam or creamier sauce would have gave this dish extra edge. The sweet potato pancakes were tasty as well, but needed another savory ingredient to bring more warmth to the dish. Drinks were well balanced.

Wonderful Dinner Saturday night with friends and family. The Brasserie was buzzing with energy. We enjoyed the steak frites, Croque Monsier, the lentil salad and an array of delicious desserts with the perfect wine pairing. The service was impeccable and all of this is why it continues to be our go to spot in Atlanta. It’s located right on the Beltline in between Two Urban Licks and New Realm Brewing. They also have wonderful space for private parties of virtually any size!

I ordered a cocktail with no garnish. Citrus garish doesnt pair well with the gin i get... But regardless, laying on the top of the ice, lemon.

For my app, i ordered the oysters on the half shell. They were good but overly small. The house mignette was not good. My friend ordered french onion soup. For the entree, l ordered scallops. They were wonderfully cooked but needed seasoning. It was served on a bed of black rice that was a beautiful presentation but tasted terrible. And what was the foam for exactly. Frankly their take of the rice was just awful. My friend ordered a dinner omelette.

We asked for the soup to come with my appetizer, didnt happen. The soup was served with his entree while my entree never showed until my friend ate his soup, entree, finished his wine, and twittled his thumbs.

He said he would have 2nd glass or even a 3rd if the waiter would have come by. There was only 3 tables of customers, all with different wait staff. Geesh.

Didnt hate it but not intetested in a repeat. One note; as it warms up outside, the outdoor seating has a great view of the Atlanta cityscape.

Our second time to the restaurant, we won’t be back. The manager was rude to our table of 4 on three occasions, and the kitchen was unwilling to adjust any menu items for dietary limitations. The wait staff was very slow and unrefined. The staff flashed the lights to kick us out just after 10:00 on a weekend night. There are too many other good options in Atlanta providing better experiences so I will be surprised if they make it. Judging by the empty room on a weekend, it’s clear others have had a similar experience.

Nice service and nice timing with courses, but food itself was mediocre, lacking flavor and quality. Hanger steak was tough despite being cooked med rare and presentation was sloppy: scallops and oysters were flavorless. The only thing we enjoyed was a wild mushroom appetizer. The space itself was odd - restaurant shares space with a odd assortment of stores and an event space. There really wasn’t anything about the physical space that reminded me of Paris or France. We won’t go back.

The atmosphere and food is what this place has going for it....the service, well, not so much. Our waiter was very friendly, but the overall flow of service seemed very disjointed - like the staff had not been trained. For example, we ordered a second round of drinks, that sat at the edge of the bar the entire time we ate our meal. Server after server walked by them and did not bring them to our table. We finally got our drinks as we were taking the last bites of our food. Also the server recommended the mac and cheese to us, so we ordered it. When our meals came, he said "oh, I forgot to tell you, the kitchen says we are out of mac and cheese." He didn't offer a substitute or an apology. It was like...sorry guys, tough luck tonight. I honestly think the place has potential, they just need a consultant or something to come in and train the staff to provide better service to guests and work together as a team.

Beautiful space with well-presented and top-notch delicious food. Mussels were large and plump and fries were some of the best I've ever had. The beets were soggy however. Another disappointment was that my friend's cheese plate was not explained (i.e. what cheeses and other items were on her plate), and overall it did not seem like the server was an expert on French food, which for a place this expensive and that is solely French, she should have been. She sort of just repeated the menu when asking for suggestions. Overall, a 9 out of 10 meal, fantastic glasses of wine (albeit pricey), but with so many restaurants in the area, I can't say it will become a 'regular' in my routine. However, it is worth a go, especially for a special occasion or out-of-town guest, since it is attached to Bazati's french emporium, and on the beltline!

I really liked this restaurant, however, I was very disappointed to see Foie Gras on the menu. I believe it to be incredibly irresponsible for any restaurant to serve an item that promotes in any way extreme animal cruelty. The restaurant and its team has complete control of what products to purchase and to demand that they are ethical. I would hope that Bazati would reconsider its choice to offer this item and remove it from the menu offerings.
