Great food and service.
Nice ambience great food
The food was lovely but the noise level was above anything I’ve ever experienced. I wouldn’t come again as we couldn’t have a conversation because the noise level was so loud!
Went for thanksgiving- food was delicious, server was so nice, music was good (and not too loud). Had a nice dinner.
Very happy that I decided to dine here for Thanksgiving. Three course meal had lots of choices, was tasty, and affordable. I made reservations and was seated right away. It was great to have a nice and pleasant waiter. Thoroughly enjoyed my Thanksgiving at Brass Rail and would definitely go there again!
The Brass Rail made the Thanksgiving I spent with my son both enjoyable and memorable. The three-course meal was fabulous, the service was great, and the dining room was energetic and festive. Despite it being a pre-fix meal and the restaurant being very busy, the three courses were spaced out nicely and we did not feel rushed. Overall, a wonderful experience.
The food is very good. We eat here often. My wife and I ordered the skirt steak and the braised short rib. Both dishes were prepared well. The kitchen also will happily switch out the potatoes for greens. This is important for my carb conscious wife. I have not eaten upstairs, but usually eat on the main floor. The main floor gives a more casual vibe, but don’t be fooled, the food is on the high end of the casual dining scale.
The waitress then noticed a dirty glass, looked as if there was a smear of lipstick on it which gratefully she noticed. Ordered the octopus as recommended and it was terrible, dry, bland, and crusty on the outside with a charcoal char that tasted like built up charcoal on an uncleaned grill. Barely edible. Ordered the meat and cheese plate and it was way below par. It was sloppily placed on the tray, the sliced meat looked like a mess, and quite frankly had a bad aftertaste to it. Now, the sliced bread, not even a loaf that was warmed up or toasted, but slices of so heavily toasted bread that it was essentially like eating a large crunchy crouton. I could not take it any longer so I asked if they can bring the same bread but fresh and not toasted. We were told they did not have it, (probably because all of the bread they have we were told was kept in the refrigerated to stay fresh. She brought out some brioche bread that was cubed and stale, which was not an option. She also said they have hamburger bun bread, really? The only viable option was the pita bread which was finally warm, as bread should be when served with meat and cheese. At least it was fresh.
We proceeded to order an entree, so I ordered the Salmon. Ok, the salmon arrives and at the landing of the table, it has an off fishy smell. Now, I am a fisherman, catch and prepare my own fish, there should never be a "fishy" off smell to the cooked fish. I told the waitress which was very kind, that the fish was off. The manager then came to the table and tried to convince me that it smelled because it was cooked for very long which is nonsense, as if I do not know what spoiled fish smells like. She then said she eats it every day, and that it's fresh daily which is not believable. Then she says that they are only able to source farm raised, so maybe that's the smell, another lie. We lost our appetite and left. Charged $88 for a completely horrible experience. Worst food I've ever had.
Amazing service, huge attention paid to food allergies with solid accommodations! The waiter and staff were amazing!
Great local spot
Eggs Benedict was a hard boiled egg not great at all. Slow service despite a small crowd.
Food was good but took a long time for us to get food
The food was amazing! The service was horrible. Our waitress seemed to be bothered when we had any interaction with her which was not a lot at all because she barely checked on us. The staff also seemed to be bothered with any interaction with the customers except for one of the female managers who was delightful. They could really pick up their customer service to match their amazing food.
Great food, wonderful service, made a birthday very special
This place has good options for vegan and carnivore. We were very happy with the food and service.
Beautiful outdoor set up! Menu options for a price fixed were pretty good, but I wish there was a “bottomless” drink option, even for a price increase.
Great! Chicken Alfredo was terrific! Burger was juicy!
Moscow mules are the best here! Thanks for a great night with friends.
5 stars across the board for the brass rail , they have great staff , great food and an awesome atmosphere every time we go there .. it’s been 8 years and it just gets better .
Went here for Father's Day, Server was nice although she was training someone. Didn't like that diners had there dogs at the tables (we sat outside) and there was no visible sign stating that dogs were allowed.
Food and drinks were amazing! I will definitely go again.
Everything was great except that they made no mention of us celebrating our anniversary despite me putting that on with my online reservation.
Great time here! Great food, kind service, popular location and enjoyable ambience
Service not good. The food ok.we have to wait long time
This restaurant it’s ok for everyday dining. I wouldn’t go here for special occasions as the menu and the ambiance it’s too simple. The upstairs restaurant lacks view and it’s too narrow. This is nice place to go after a long day at work.
The food was fine, but, we waited 15 minutes for someone to come take our drink order and, when she did, she was not friendly and barely spoke to us. We waited another 15 to get drinks and give our meal order and more than 30 minutes more to get any food. We will not be going back.
Food was not good including dessert. Not worth the money. Tried to order dessert to go to redeem service but dessert was equally hirrible. Terrible Mothers day dinner.
Fun night -- we ordered everything from appetizers to dinner entrees....food was consistently great
Food was great, drinks were great, our waiter was great. Sat upstairs with 7 people and it was a great time.
Met up w friends for a birthday dinner. Place was clean and staff was friendly upon arrival. Ordered the short rib sandwich it was sooo yummy. Can’t wait to come back saw a few things on menu that I need to try!!!!
Such a great experience! I really enjoyed it for my birthday dinner. The prices are very reasonable - depending on the dishes you pick you can keep it casual or indulge. The menu was very creative but still palatable, and we loved the decor and playlist!
Food was fantastic. And so was the service.
We requested an outdoor table, which was ready for us when we arrived. A nice variety of very well-prepared food. The pre-fixe brunch was great, and additional cocktails for $5 each couldn’t be beat. Excellent waiter.
All 4 of our party loved their meals. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the meatballs and gnocchi were excellent. Service was efficient and friendly. Highly recommended.
The waiter was not very attentive & she gave us the wrong bill $218 ours was 82🙄
Delicious meal and cocktails. Will be coming back.
$28 for a whole pitcher of sangria, perfect for friends 🙌🏻
