It was tasty and fairly priced. Good if you have kids but still have friends.
Price wasn’t worth the quality for food. Service was good but wasn’t please with the options and everything I tasted was good nothing was wow to me
Awesome go-to in Hoboken. Love that it pulls in a more sophisticated crowd than the beer pubs within the nearby vicinity. Upstairs is a hidden gem and GREAT cocktails too!
Great service, friendly staff at the hostess stand and wait staff!
We got there and it was nearly empty. We ordered our brunch and got our complimentary cocktail and then got offered one more and then brought the check. Never offered another drink and felt rushed out when it wasn’t even packed. I was very disappointed by that. We were planning to have a few more drinks.
Apps, main course , and desserts were all excellent —- Service was great! Fun drink menu
Brass Rail provided a very delicious dinner, and service was excellent! Highly recommended!
Food was little overpriced but good. Sandwich I ordered was too full to eat as a sandwich.
I came in for my birthday with my boyfriend and two of my friends and I was really excited because i have been there once before and had an awesome time. This time not so much. When we sat down it took our server about 15 mins to greet us which was her saying “bottled or tap”. No smile. Never told us her name and wouldn’t tell us her name. When we said tap she just turned around and we had to get her attention to order our actual drink order. Then another 15 mins went by and she came and took our order. Again not even a smile or an ounce of friendliness. Had to get her attention for drink refills. Probably checked on us once. The only time she was prompted to have some urgency was when she dropped the check and picked up. We are all servers so we tipped her and I really didn’t wanna leave a review but it was my birthday and I felt so unwelcomed.
Great meal great time great service.
Dinner was delicious.
Upstairs party room available for groups which we’ve used in the past for bridal and baby showers.
Will return again.
Decided to check this restaurant for Restaurant Week and it was a great choice! The food was delicious. From our appetizers, entree and dessert. Will be going back with friends.
Delicious app’s and main course. The veal meatballs were crispy yet light. Steak was cooked perfectly. Service was superb, thank you Jess and Mateo. As with most places in Hoboken, finding a parking spot wasn’t the easiest of tasks. Would most definitely recommend. Best restaurant week menu by far.
I went there for restaurant week with a friend. The restaurant was dark and not in a dim romantic lighting way... I was just dark andsmelled funny. I wouldn’t recommend it.
Service was terrible. 2+ hours and finally asked to get our desserts to go (and then that took another 20 minutes). Unfortunate, because the food was great. Given all of the great choices in Hoboken, we will not be back.
The prefixed brunch menu was great, good choices and reasonably priced
Came for restaurant week, and everything was delicious. Only complaint was the noise level
The food and drinks are good and good options but the noise level in the upper floor was unbearable once the room filled up. We literally couldn’t hear each other. Which is unfortunate since it’s a nice room and a good alternative to the bustling bar scene on the first floor.
They took forever to come and take our order and forever to bring the check. The waiter was really nice though. The food was OK, nothing especial. Creme brulee with Nutella was amazing.
I’ve been here numerous times because I personally love the truffle meatball gnocchi! I ordered the skirt steak today and it was a bit too salty. It wasn’t inedible but it really wasn’t great.. For dessert, I ordered vanilla ice cream which was delicious but I think it was left out too long before I was served because it was a bit soupy by the time it got to me. The tiramisu wasn’t great and a bit dry that my boyfriend didn’t bother to eat it after 3 attempts. Not sure if it was an off day but wasn’t my best experience today food wise. Service was awesome though.
Had a delicious whiskey cocktail and a dish in which they served in entire octopus tentacle. The bartenders were knowledgeable, the drink was excellent, and the food was amazing! They have the best whiskey selection that I have seen in New Jersey second only to their sister restaurant nearby. Overall a great experience, I can’t wait to return!
Overall, excellent. Love the breakfast Mac and cheese
Great food and atmosphere!
They had a big (loud) class reunion upstairs and only a couple of tables left. They should have closed the complete floor instead of trying to get 2 more parties' money. Cheap!
My experience was great! I used to frequent Brass Rail regularly until I moved. I came back and it was fantastic! Nancy, the wonderful manager and her team took good care of us! The atmosphere is fun and upbeat. The food was fantastic! I highly recommend the Brass Rail and thank you, Nancy!
Friendly and accommodating staff. Tasty food, and a great brunch deal. Will definitely be back!
Loud. Very loud. Enjoyed the food. Ricotta app is amazing.
Worked out great for a party of 7. Older folks and the Young adult kids. Good time had by ALL!!
Went for the pre-fixe brunch for my birthday. The food was great , and loved the drink deals. Decent service. Would recommend!
The strip steak was amazing. I never had to ask for more water - the servers were very attentive.
The bar was lively without being overcrowded. Good wine list that is reasonably priced. We really enjoyed the steaks, which were cooked perfectly.
Good food and setting. Waiter was a little over anxious about getting our orders. He asked 5 times in a short time period, and we didn’t have enough time to get settled and read the menu.
Food was decent. We ate on 2nd floor; cool settings and architectural features.
Celebrating birthday for Dr. Charles with good friends
Solid pub-style restaurant. Noisy downstairs - by that I mean lively... and quiet upstairs for conversation with friends. Fried calamari and lobster Mac and cheese to share were delicious. I had the salmon which was not unique but done well. Friends enjoyed their food as well. Great beer selection! Solid place to avoid all the sports bars in Hoboken.
Nice atmosphere, bar and tables downstairs, more quite dining atmosphere upstairs. A lot of steps if handicap, bonus there is a bathroom upstairs. Food was amazing!! However parking is horrible. Parked in lot for 3 hrs was a 30 dollars. Otherwise would recommend this restaurant.
I changed the time of the reservation right before we were supposed to get there and they easily changed my time for an hour later. It was greatly appreciated with no complications on a Saturday night. Food was delicious. This party of 9 was happy and will be returning!
We went for a boozy brunch. It was too loud, service was slow, didn't taste any alcohol in our drinks, my French toast was burnt. Next time if we do go back will try ordering from their regular menu. I read so many great reviews so I was a bit disappointed.
The food was great especially the filet mignon! The white sangria was delicious get a pitcher it’s worth the $26!!
Warm, wonderful service! I was very proud to bring my manhattan friends to Hoboken for brunch here, and theyre very picky! The burnch prix fixe is such a good deal. Will return!
Food was not good and we were sick from it after. Won't go back.
