Great waitress. Famous Tater Tots were tasty, but a little too greasy for me, could only eat a few. Everything was very good!

Went to the Brahmin on a Friday night at 6pm. The restaurant had a relaxed atmosphere. It was not a busy night. The food was a little over cooked and the service was a little slow (but server was very nice).

Our server was wonderful a d charming and we got a lot of attention. It was a snowy night, so there weren’t many parties there. Great food. Very receptive to special requests!

The food was very good, lots of options and festive atmosphere. On the downside, it was way too noisy, we could barely hold a conversation, and our waiter went missing. Our water glasses weren’t refilled and we had to ask a couple of times where’s the bill. We actually had to get up & search for waitstaff to help us.

Wonderful dishes for sharing. We enjoyed all of our choices but found the lamb chops a little lacking in flavor. A longer marinade might have done the trick. It was very convenient for the theatre we were attending and the relatively quiet setting was great for a conversation. Great service.

When we arrived for a 6:30 pre-theater dinner, we were shown to a 2-top in the midst of an office party crowd of about 25-30. One of our seats was covered by the coats of this group and they were lined at up the bar that was in this room. All but one other 2-top was devoted to this party. It was an unacceptable location. The manager reseated us across the restaurant..between an office party of 6 and another that was getting organized about 12. Food ok, service was pleasant, but the original treatment and difficulty to hear each other, made this a very unhappy experience.

Sincerely disappointing - booked a reservation for dinner at 630 on a Friday night - and during dinner we were told we would have to move for a 100 person party that was “unexpectedly” booked - asked for coffee and was told they don’t serve coffee! We decided to wrap it up and they brought us the wrong check - they had to reverse the check and took 25 off the total bill for all the mixup but that didn’t make up for the experience - Yikes!

Delicious food. Yummy cocktails. Small plates, each one special in its own way. Fantastic service and the ambiance cannot be beat. Got 15% off because we were going to Lyric Stage Theater after! Perfect night

We tried The Brahmin on the recommendation of a colleague with friends who were celebrating a birthday. First of all, the birthday was never acknowledged. Perhaps my note fell through the cracks.

We were seated right next to the bar which is VERY noisy (I had requested a booth or corner table on my reservation). There were plenty of other options for seating - the dining area was never full.

The waitress was friendly but could not recommend very much from her own experience as she was a vegetarian. The salmon entrée was lackluster (it needed to be seasoned). The other entrée was just a basic burger with fries that had a fancy name "The Adams".

Overall, I would have to say that we were less than thrilled with the experience and probably won't be back.

I was excited to try The Brahmin for my birthday dinner after a recommendation from a friend. The ambiance was great, our server was nice, and my mojito and stir fry were delicious. My only problem was that we informed our server that someone in our party was vegan. She ordered plain rice and vegetables and asked that they be prepared dairy free, but they were not. They were cooked in butter, which I could tell with just one bite. Not only was it very disgusting to taste but also made my friend sick, which put a damper on our night. We ended up leaving and going next door to The Friendly Toast for some vegan friendly options, which was inconvenient and disappointing. Our server was very apologetic and while we understand it was not her fault, it was a very frustrating experience. Overall it was a nice restaurant but they were not cognizant of some dietary restrictions which may be a problem to some.

If you go on the weekend be prepared for it to be loud! But the cocktails and service are always great! Fun place to go on the weekends without being overly crowded.

The Brahmin failed on every level. We came to the restaurant because its website advertised it as a tapas place, but they changed their menu to blan American fare. We were the only people there but the food still took over 45 minutes to be served, and despite ordering vegetarian entrees, we were served meat!

The place has a cool vibe, but that is all! Stay away!!

Thought the food and service was great. Dress code off website should be removed. Definitely not a place to get dressed for. People wearing shorts (not dressy) allowed. We felt a little over dressed.

Really enjoyed the food. Waitress and staff all so friendly.

This was our first time here. The service was superb. You have to try the beet salad, and add chicken, the Lowell burger is a complete meal, and the lobster rangoon's are excellent. We plan to return soon.

The atmosphere is great. The food choices were kind of limited. The menu said that they didn't have entrees and only served tapas style but we were able to order entrees. The 4 person tables are oddly small and arranged. One of the staff said that they were bigger than the 2-seater tables but if that's true it's only by a few inches. They were accommodating when we asked to move to a different table for more space.

Tried this place for the first time using a promotion. Overall the experience was good, especially due to the service. Our initial table was next to a very loud, large after work crew, but we were moved as soon as we asked. The cocktail did not taste right to me, but the waitress noticed the look on my face and offered me a new or different cocktail. The food was better than I expected, but everything was a bit heavy and fried. The edamame dumplings were good, but would have been better pan fried rather than deep fried. Lobster Rangoon’s were good. Our best dish was the tuna over the rice cake. Good place for a beer and better than average bar food, but not on par with some of the other tapas restaurants in the area. The manager also seemed attentive and checked in with us which was appreciated.
