We thought the shared plates was a great idea. The food was really good and we split each dish between three people. We ordered four and took home most of the flatbread which was enough for lunch the next day. We tried the Brahmin salad, the lamb chops, a noodle dish with chicken and steak flat bread. All excellent. Waiter was very nice and helpful. Only downside was the loud music. We were there at 4 pm so no need to have it so invasive when trying to eat and talk with friends. In the evening when it’s a dance club that’s okay. I will say the waiter did turn it down a bit at our request but someone turned it up again before we finished. Considering there were fewer than 10 people eating at that early hour, no reason to have music blasting. Restaurant is very dark but it looks upscale. All in all, we would go again definitely.

Great waitress. Famous Tater Tots were tasty, but a little too greasy for me, could only eat a few. Everything was very good!

Went to the Brahmin on a Friday night at 6pm. The restaurant had a relaxed atmosphere. It was not a busy night. The food was a little over cooked and the service was a little slow (but server was very nice).

Our server was wonderful a d charming and we got a lot of attention. It was a snowy night, so there weren’t many parties there. Great food. Very receptive to special requests!

The food was very good, lots of options and festive atmosphere. On the downside, it was way too noisy, we could barely hold a conversation, and our waiter went missing. Our water glasses weren’t refilled and we had to ask a couple of times where’s the bill. We actually had to get up & search for waitstaff to help us.

Wonderful dishes for sharing. We enjoyed all of our choices but found the lamb chops a little lacking in flavor. A longer marinade might have done the trick. It was very convenient for the theatre we were attending and the relatively quiet setting was great for a conversation. Great service.

When we arrived for a 6:30 pre-theater dinner, we were shown to a 2-top in the midst of an office party crowd of about 25-30. One of our seats was covered by the coats of this group and they were lined at up the bar that was in this room. All but one other 2-top was devoted to this party. It was an unacceptable location. The manager reseated us across the restaurant..between an office party of 6 and another that was getting organized about 12. Food ok, service was pleasant, but the original treatment and difficulty to hear each other, made this a very unhappy experience.

Sincerely disappointing - booked a reservation for dinner at 630 on a Friday night - and during dinner we were told we would have to move for a 100 person party that was “unexpectedly” booked - asked for coffee and was told they don’t serve coffee! We decided to wrap it up and they brought us the wrong check - they had to reverse the check and took 25 off the total bill for all the mixup but that didn’t make up for the experience - Yikes!

Delicious food. Yummy cocktails. Small plates, each one special in its own way. Fantastic service and the ambiance cannot be beat. Got 15% off because we were going to Lyric Stage Theater after! Perfect night

We tried The Brahmin on the recommendation of a colleague with friends who were celebrating a birthday. First of all, the birthday was never acknowledged. Perhaps my note fell through the cracks. We were seated right next to the bar which is VERY noisy (I had requested a booth or corner table on my reservation). There were plenty of other options for seating - the dining area was never full. The waitress was friendly but could not recommend very much from her own experience as she was a vegetarian. The salmon entrée was lackluster (it needed to be seasoned). The other entrée was just a basic burger with fries that had a fancy name "The Adams". Overall, I would have to say that we were less than thrilled with the experience and probably won't be back.
