About this restaurant

  • Romantic
  • Good for special occasions
  • Neighborhood gem
The Bradley Inn, on the point close to the Pemaquid Lighthouse, is one of the finest restaurants in the area, which is open to the public, serving gourmet food made from local and sustainable fare.

The dining room exudes casual elegance with its wooden tables, blue glassware, and soft nautical lighting, looking out towards the back gardens.

Designed with a nautical theme, the tavern is warm and inviting, with its shiplap walls, wooden ship models, and muted lighting.

Chef Ross Moskwa is known for his soups and a menu that incorporates a flavor profile that is somewhat unique to the area. He is a master at providing Gluten Free foods, plus accommodating other food allergies and preferences. He knows the struggle personally so understands the importance of avoiding cross contamination and how to offer delicious foods that meet our guests needs.

Enjoy your meal with a signature cocktail, a craft beer or wine from our extensive wine menu. Non-alcoholic options available.

The Bradley has maintained a great food quality at a reasonable, for the area, price. I love that it is quiet enough to carry on a conversation with your table mates. If you haven't been there lately you need to treat yourself to a wonderful evening out.

Breakfast was delicious! Fresh fruits, tasty muffins and great breakfast quiche! Dinner was fabulous too. Started with the crab cakes appetizer and they were the perfect choice. For our main course We had fresh caught haddock that was the best we’ve ever had! Light, flakey and cooked perfectly! We Also had the pico de gallo that was fantastic! Wasn’t expecting to order Cuban inspired food but after seeing it on the table next to us I had to try it. I travel to Miami often and order it often at popular Cuban restaurants. This was the best pico I’ve ever had! It was made with delicious tenderloin steak that was seasoned to perfection. Whether you’re staying at the Bradly inn or just visiting for the day you need to have dinner here!

Took old friends to one of our favorite restaurants. It was a busy post-4th night, but the service was very good, and the food delicious. It's a lovely old building with some bigger rooms and cozy corners. They will do their best to accommodate your wishes.

Always a great experience at The Bradley Inn. The food was particularly exceptionally this visit. And of course, Suzy makes the best drinks.

The Inn is a very hospitable place to stay in the area. The linens are wonderful and the bed was comfortable. We had an excellent dinner: Hubbard squash soup, Maine raw oysters, and a Cuban Piccadilly. Breakfast was bagels, cold smoked salmon with cream cheese, capers and onions, a nice breakfast cake and fruit. We certainly did not leave hungry!

Lovely inn. Pricey for small portions. Had duck confit that was a bit overcooked but otherwise delicious. Bar area looks appealing for next time.
The Bradley InnResponded on October 23, 2024
Laurie, we appreciate your taking the time to write a review. I however feel the need to explain the duck comment. When confit is the cooking method, which literally means to preserve, the duck it is cooked for a long time at a low temperature in its own fat. The duck becomes very tender and is fully cooked. We also are very careful as to how we price our menu items. Everything is based upon the cost, which as you know has just gone up and up. It is our goal to provide fair prices for the food we offer. Laurie, once again thanks for the review, we do hope to see you next year.
