The Bowery Bar and Fare
The Bowery was created to bring people together for great fun and great food. Our menu consists of twists on typical street fair dishes from all corners of the world, created and prepared by award winning chef Dan DeSalvo. If searching for uptown style cocktails, look no further…master mixologist, Nic Richards has joined our team and developed creative cocktails that uniquely blend top shelf spirits with fresh flavors, along with 24 craft and locally sourced beers on tap. But what’s a street fair without any games? Both inside and on our outdoor patio you will find old-fashioned ring toss and roulette, as well as classic games like giant connect four and vertical chess to keep the party going. Don’t miss out on our unique happy hour experience!
I think it's an adorable spot for friends and first dates. It's not big enough for actual family dining. I wouldn't go there for an evening out with my mom and sisters but I would definitely go there with my boyfriend or my friends again. The food was delicious as well. I'm going to go as far as to say that I would actually just do appetizers next time and sample a ton of those instead of meals bc the appetizers we had were delicious, meals, ok.
Get the Tattooed Lady for the drink, skip the cotton candy drink!!
From the website it looks as though there would be more fun and games during dining. The table was very wobbly making it hard to play jenga and there were a few items on the menu that were not available to order.
Although there were some negatives.... My kids definitely had fun outside with the giant size games.
Second thine there! Just as good as the first! Awesome staff and fun food!
Fun for dinner and drinks! We loved the board games to bring to our table to play. Great menu choices - fun and different!
If you enjoy sitting in the middle of a room ,in front of a door that opens and closes and bathes you in cold air off a busy highway ,this is the place for you. Clearly no regard for the diners comfort even after we requsted another table.
Horrible service. Waitress messed up everyones order. They were out of 3 of 4 items we wanted to order at 730 on a fri night.
I came with my friend for the 90s Hip Hop themed brunch. The food was amazing and the DJ played all of the hits across the decades. My friend and I danced for most of the time after we ate.
Unfortunately, our reservation was not honored and the staff didn’t even seem to care or apologize. When we came in for our reservation we were told our table would be ready in an additional 10 minutes, an hour later they finally sat us down. The waitress seemed to be rushing us out and very flustered. The atmosphere was nice but the dining experience was pretty terrible. I won’t be going back again for food service; however, the bar tender was very good!
great little place! the service was fantastic! Loved the food! The salted caramel bacon wings were awesome! will definitely go back there!
Great atmosphere great for first dates and families Food was great and service was great
This was not a good experience… Very small and too loud. The food servings were terribly small and not worth the price. Our group was completely disappointed.
I went for the first time to the Bowery with my wife and 2 teenage boys. Think this was the 1st time my guys played a simple board game ( they have them there) and had a great time. My younger one wanted to stay for dessert so he can play UNO.
The Bowery Bar and Fare has a cool theme and laid back approach, but unfortunately the food did not live up to the menu. Every single items we had was spicy, which is fine, but this was not listed on the menu and several of the diners in our group do not care for spicy food. The meals were also very heavy and unfortunately laid on most of our stomachs during the evening. I understand we were not going to a light fare place, but the heat level of some items should be listed. Overall I would come back for a drink and to play games, but not necessarily for dinner.
Birthday. When they brought out the mountain of light flashing cotton candy, they made the night for my almost 15 year old.
It was very loud, food was underwhelming and service was awful. Our appetizers got to the table before our drinks made it. The restaurant wasn’t nearly busy enough to warrant that. The theming was amazing and the menu sounded really promising but all was very underwhelming with a lot going on.
In addition, I’m gluten free and ordered the chicken kebabs which were listed as gluten free on the menu and they came out with pita on the plate. Other items (such as burgers) were not listed as gluten free because they are served on buns of with gluten containing items. The lack of consistency with something so important was so frustrating.
We were really disappointed by the dining experience but might consider coming back just for drinks.
Went here for my friends birthday and it was an awesome choice. Scene was cool, food was good and we all had a great time
I was very disappointed in the food. I enjoy going out with my family and was hoping for a nice meal.
The burgers were subpar, the wings were too spicy for my son to eat. My husbands hanger steak was ok but did not taste cajun as menu described. We will NOT be back.
We attended the Vacation Special Brunch the week between Christmas and NewYear’s and we had a great experience we brought in our kids and invited Grandma. The brunch menu was unique and tasty. I would go back for brunch at another time and I would try a fun dinner/drinks at another time.
Food was very salty, oily and disappointing. Decor was nice- carnival theme was different and fun. Waitstaff was very pleasant if not knowledgeable about menu. He said it was not his usual shift so I don’t fault him too much.
Great brunch spot, small but creative menu!
Fun place for hanging out at the bar. The food is good pub food and the crowd gets young as the DJ arrives at 9. Good place for young people and taking young kids.
Heard about The Bowery Bar & Fare on a news 12 segment and finally made it! Excellent service, super cool (& instagramable) decor, and food was great! We came during happy hour and all cocktails were 2 for 1! The butter cake is a must!!
I went for date night but it so happen to be fight night which was awesome. We had the Sex in The Suburbs which was cute looking but it was just ehh in taste, HOWEVER we had the wings as appetizer and they were really good, The Donut Burger cus why not, which btw was good, I mean it's not like donut burgers are a common thing, & to finish we had the Butter Cake as dessert but by then I had caught the itis from the Donut burger lol. The water was great he was really attentive. The decor was really creative I loved the fare theme. I think I'll becoming back again with a larger group, definitely recommend.
Enjoyed the food and atmosphere.. great desserts
