   Staff were friendly, quick service. Not everything available on the menu awaiting for a delivery. Chips were very dry/over cooked but pie, mash & peas was lovely with gravy.

   We booked a table for 2.30pm and the only option was chicken in Sunday roast. The raspberry crumble was watery and the custard was a joke in the smallest jug I've ever seen which amounted to a tablespoon !!! Won't be revisiting again. Not vale for money. Staff were friendly.

   Booked online for father's day as looked very nice, reality was very different! Nothing like the photos online! Waited over 45 minutes for the meals and when the two steak&ale pies arrived they looked like microwave pies plus very small portions...My partner and my mother had Sunday roast of which the parsnips were not cooked and again very basic and not really worth the money.

   Visited the boot inn at 12-00 pm on a Sunday it was a little late opening but ordered drinks and a Sunday lunch , food arrived promptly roast beef for me chicken for my partner food was lovely although the parsnips were very hard also no salt and pepper on the table , we asked for mint sauce was told no mint sauce which was rather strange but over all would return

   We went on a Saturday there was a lad behind the bar who went above and beyond service was impeccable. Food was ausome. Highly recommended.

   Food was tasty and plentiful. Staff were great professional friendly with just the right amount of attention. First experience here but great .

   I booked a table for 5 at 12.30pm. We arrived at around 12.10 to be told that there was no chef and would not be able to eat until 3pm. No one contacted us to tell me of the changes.

    Booked table on line. Checked over menu, arranged to meet friends in The Boot later that evening. Turned up for meal to be told they stopped serving ages ago, and made a joke that the Web site dhould be changed!! Fuming was an understatement. She said 'oh, very sorry' chuckled, and served someone else. Very poor. Walked to next nearest local which was buzzing, so stayed there
