Boiler House Texas Grill & Wine Garden is a true Texas original. Situated in the historic Pearl Brewery complex on the San Antonio River Walk, this wine-centric restaurant occupies the former “boiler house” which powered the adjacent brewery. The menu focuses on grilled items from local farms and markets, with a focus on “Texas ranch-style” cuisine. These delicacies are paired with extraordinary wines from around the world (all available by the glass, bottle and “to-go”), full bar, live music and a casual yet energetic atmosphere. The unique list of wines boasts some of the lowest prices in the area.

The restaurant incorporates various private dining areas suitable for private or corporate functions and an expansive outdoor patio area where guests can enjoy dining alfresco. Catering is also available at the restaurant or at a location of your choice.

I had a reservation, and they sat us about 3 feet away from the restroom, which smelled terrible. We asked to be moved to a different table, which they accomodated, but the waiter couldn't have been less attentive. My $50 steak was almost too salty to eat. I would not eat here again.

We went on Valentine’s Day to celebrate our anniversary. We ordered the 32 ounce Tomahawk steak for two. It was delicious. Enjoyed our dinner and had a great time!

The food and service was amazing -Our waiter was very helpful. The brussel sprouts, the philly, the BM burger and the one with the peanut butter fries gras. Not a plate was left with a crumb!

We were stuck in the corner by the stock shelves so interrupted multiple times for them restocking alcohol. Steak was rare instead of medium. The ny strip was very fatty as if it were a ribeye. Definitely not worth the expense.

A last minute plan after visiting the museum of art, and my night couldn't have ended any better! You gotta try the steak.

We went on a Saturday night and it was very busy. We had a reservation, so we didn’t have to wait too long for our table. Once we were seated, it took around 15 minutes for us to be acknowledged, but once we were service was great. There wasn’t an empty table in the place so we weren’t too frustrated with having to wait, especially since service was great once our drink orders were taken. The food was excellent! The steaks were tender and the Brussel sprouts and whipped potatoes were amazing!

The music was really loud, the waiter was extremely arrogant. However the food was delicious, so we would probably go again just sit in a different section lol!

Very enjoyable evening - the venue is classic. Well-designed adaptation of an old industrial steam facility. Very diverse and creative menu - we ordered several items from each category. Everything was well prepared and well presented. Cocktails were perfect. Excellent service - Sebastian was very knowledgeable and engaging. Recommend highly.

The boiler house is my daughters favorite place to dine. The only feedback I would provide is to provide more vegetarian and fish options particularly on the small plates/bites section. Overall, delicious and creative food.
