10/10 definitely will be here a lot this summer! :)
The food was ok. The juice was really good. The pasta was very nasty it was watery. It was just plaid garlic rolls nothing special. Some of the waitresses were not so friendly. You can tell.
Outside dining is best as inside is not very attractive. The food is very good. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I wii definitely go back.
Food was amazing. Wait time was average. Didn’t really wait long. Definitely coming back to dine with you.
Very good food.. friendly staff and service.. First time there and it was truly an amazing experience.
Great food. Great service. Be advised as they only take case and their ATM has a $200 limit so you will have to pay two sets of ATM fees should you have to withdraw more.
The staff were very friendly. The food was immaculate and the wait for the food wasn’t long and I really loved that. I definitely recommend this restaurant 10/10.
Great food service and design. Music could be a touch lower
Loved The Boil and would totally recommend. The food was delicious and totally worth the price in my opinion. To address remarks in previous reviews, yes it is cash only and there is a 20% charge on all folks dining-in but really that's just ensuring a guaranteed tip for these employees that were out of work for quite some time due to COVID-19 so don't think it should discourage anyone from going if they're hoping to try a good seafood spot in the city.
It was my daughters 16th birthday and she went there with friends to eat seafood. The kids stated the food was great, price was good and the service provided by the staff was outstanding. The kids stated the staff came and checked on them asking if they needed anything and if everything was alright. I tasted the macaroni and cheese as I am allergic to seafood and that macaroni and cheese I have to give 2 thumbs up!
My favorite restaurant in the Village. Best atmosphere, great prices, and amazing food.
Food is always great and The Boil, but surprise surprise they are now charging a 20% “Covid” fee. So we’re paying for a pandemic that is not our fault and neither theirs but you were likely granted a “Covid” loan or grant to help out but somehow we the patrons are paying the loan off. And in The Boil’s case probably not even since it’s cash only and I would find it hard to believe they are disclosing 100% accurate books.
I’ve seen restaurants and pretty much everything go up in price due to the pandemic, but 20% is a bit high.
Delicious 😋😋😋😋😋 5 yummies
Go early beat the crowd...Happy Hour!!!
The food is always good and is my favorite place when I have a taste for crab legs. The garlic butter sauce is delicious.
Food was good but was better before but not worth the price. Also they charge 20% COVID recovery fee when you dine in. Ridiculously high. Tribeca restaurants only charge 10%. If you go here, order take out. I’d recommend eating at Cap’t Louie in Brooklyn. Reasonably priced and even tastier
I took my family here for the first time, raving about the food and service and I was extremely disappointed, down from where they seated us, to forgetting half our order, to giving us someone else’s order, to the leisurely service. It wasn’t even busy, so there’s wasn’t much of an excuse. The food itself was delicious.
The food was perfect, the service was amazing, and the set up of the restaurant was exquisite. Would definitely come again and recommend to others.
You MUST pay with cash! You will have a wait if you don't make reservations. Food, prices and services are good.
Best seafood boil I've had! Seafood is cooked perfectly, sauce is rich. Fastastiic drinks
If you love seafood this is it! And they are not stingy on the liquor.
Amazing per usual. We drive 2hrs to go eat there and its worth it everytime.
Great tasting and quality seafood as usual. Love this place! I’ve never been let down. Really get your bang for your buck and the food is always seasoned to perfection!
Food was Yummy! Seating was seamless. The person serving table could have checked in more, had to flag other staff. Overall Good Visit!
The food was good as always I haven't been to the boil since August of 2020 I see alot has changed for 1 that 20% gratuity should not be mandatory
Great! I love the Boil!
The two for 1 drinks were a surprise but a great addition to out meals. Everything was great.
Food was delicious. I can’t wait to go back.
The Boil Fell Off .. Before It Was The Best Thing. Shrimp Seemed To Be Over Cooked, The Boil Sauce Didn’t Even Taste The Same . The Only Thing That Was Good Was The Crab Cakes And Drinks .
The food and atmosphere was grate however the food is a little expensive
Very good experience well most likely be coming back again
Not what it used to be
Great food as always. We really liked our waitress. They did not rush us. Hostess was also accommodating. Only bummer was they raised the price of the snow crab and that discouraged two of us from getting shrimp and snow crab. That was a great combo deal before. Drinks were also good.
Lilly was our waitress. She was awesome. Very patient with us.
Everything from music to food was perfect! Killing it during the pandemic
Checked in right at our reservation time. Made us wait out in the cold sidewalk for 15 minutes while "people are paying". A rat ran through my legs out to the outdoor dining area. No social distancing. They seated a party of seven less that three feet away, across the aisle so no plexiglass.
This is a crab place. They put down two flimsy plastic forks. How can you eat crab with a plastic fork? Asked for a metal fork and was told all they had was plastic.
All was well as usual!
I miss the well seasoned seafood with my favorite butter garlic sauce. It's great to have it for my birthday.
I absolutely love this place. I’ve been coming here for the last 3 years. I’m a regular, and they know me. Everyone there is so pleasant and welcoming. The only thing I was surprised about is that they automatically now include gratuity. I don’t know why, but I always tip generously. I will continue coming there as long as they’re there. Nobody does crab legs like them. 😊
