Perfect dining experience.
I had the 4-course prix fixe lunch on Saturday June 12 at Bocuse. Everything was delicious, the ingredients both familiar and new to me, creatively presented and prepared to perfection. Every course was a delight for my senses, the flavors bursting and combining in unexpected and delicious ways My waiter Trevor was great - friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items, cocktails and wine menu and for recommendations on where to go in exploring the CIA campus (hunt out the little chapel behind the library!) Everyone else involved in the service was wonderful - efficient, friendly and helpful. The tables were spaced so it never felt crowded. Everyone wore masks when not eating. Bocuse and American Bounty are currently the only restaurants open. Can't wait for the everything to open up again - It's a stunning campus and a great dining experience.
Our server Hannah was very accommodating, pleasant and attentive. We enjoyed the unique food offerings that we ordered. A wonderful evening.

So happy to return to the Culinary Institute. Wonderful lunch. All students were on top of their game as you can see by the impeccable service. The courses were served elegantly. The presentation of food almost made it too beautiful to eat!!! We were not rushed, and enjoyed every bite. We are four friends for over 60 years, and enjoy getting together for lunch at nice places with great food and excellent service. We will be sure to come back again! Thank you to all the students in the front and in the back for making our lunch extra special!!!

Delightful experience. Oysters, calamari, roasted chicken were outstanding. Preparation was perfection. Safety precautions were taken seriously and plenty of room between tables. Sensible touches including bag to store mask while dining, sanitizer and placemats printed with menu.

All food was delicious. Great service My only complaint is that the dessert portion was minuscule. I saved room for it and then walked out hungry.
In our experience, the CIA is always a wonderful place for everything from large group dinners to intimate dinners with friends to date nights! The students never disappoint in the preparation or the service. The charity events have been particularly well-done! Make your reservation - you won't regret it!

The service was oversolicitous and unpolished , forgiveable of course as the students tried hard but could still use a lesson or two in professionalism .
The major disappointment was the food - really abominable .
Oysters already dressed in vinaigrette obscure the taste of the mollusk and Salmon Carpaccio was over marinated to the point of being tough and tasteless . Dover sole? Howabout a dried out, badly presented fish sausage with a mystery (scrambled egg ? ) filling . Bernaise was good and the bread and butter were first rate however . Sadly , not enough to justify the long drive .

Our server described each menu item, that we subsequently ordered, perfectly. Service was beyond good. The quality of our selected menu items was perfection. I highly recommend this as a dining experience to add to your bucket list. The setting is beautiful and the dining room is just perfect for the enjoyment of the food and dining companion.

It was a great experience. We were 4 special friends celebrating a milestone birthday. One had been there before. The others had not. We are all certain to return. The food was totally awesome. The flavors and textures melted/exploded in your mouth.

It was a beautiful lunch. The service was impeccable. I loved all the options on the menu. My Watermelon salad was delicious. The Dover Sole was a little bit dry, but I did opt out of the Hollandaise sauce, so that may be why.

Very good value. Although the servers were inexperienced, they made up for it with very attentive service. Attractive decor.
Some dishes were way portioned larger than others regardless of course order. If you happen to choose the 4 small dishes for the entire course you leave still hungry. Price of four courses is advertised as a different price on opentable. However the servers were very understanding and allowed another choice when my boyfriend didn’t enjoy the ingredients in his dish. Wait time between courses were long.

We celebrated our anniversary with a lovely luncheon at Bocuse. The flavors, creativity and presentation were excellent. My husband found the servings to be on the small side. The service was personal and friendly. I informed the server of my wheat allergy, and still the appetizer description, and his knowledge, did not prevent a mishap with a wheat filled order! There should be an allergy guide in the menu, please! Fortunately, our guest was able to switch with me and disaster was averted.
We enjoy the Bocuse Restaurant the best. The American Bounty pre Covid did not seem unique to us & the Italian restaurant did not seem as special as it seemed from the decor, pre Covid. The Bocuse yesterday lived up to its reputation.
Everything was first class, from the service, to the ambiance and certainly the food. As good as any food we have in France. The students were delightful, enjoyed talking to them and learning about their experiences and plans for the future. We will be back!
