We were fortunate enough to have a mid week ‘ladies luncheon’ the Boatshed was spoken of very highly and we were not disappointed! The outlook was relaxing (and in some cases entertaining watching the beach goers floundering!) A pretty casual environment maintained by professional and experienced staff.
Our waiter was well humored, efficient and likeable. Service delivery unprecedentedly fast! Big surprise considering how busy the restaurant was. The Drinks and food were a masterpiece of presentation, highly recommend the chickpea salad and platter for 4, while they appear to be on the pricey side, the sheer volume of food does 6 comfortably.
Will definitely return.
Such a beautiful atmosphere, lovely service and food. Definatly be visiting again.
Lovely food and service.
good place to go, parking is difficult, somewhat noisy.
But would come again
Good atmosphere and lovely location. Very popular spot hence it gets quite busy. Service is prompt and attentive. Would recommend to friends.
Food was delicious as were the cocktails. Perfect view to top it off.
My friends and I were at the Boatshed La Perouse for a birthday luncheon. We found the noise level to be excessive. Because the restaurant has glass windows and wooden floors and ceilings that reflect sound, we decided next time to go for Brunch when it isn't so noisy. The food was superb and the service outstanding. The views were wonderful .
Everything excelent thanks for wonderful service and food
Seems that some of the staff weren’t very interested in helping and it appears there were a lack of training. Bit of a shame since it’s such a great location. Food was ok, nothing extraordinary.
Bit disappointed to be placed on a table without a water view seeing that we were celebrating a 50th birthday. Service was hotpotch, we were seated less than a minute when a waitress asked us what we wanted to order 🙄
Another waitress serving us drinks gave us the wrong wine (she mixed up the Riesling with the Sauv Blanc. Shame wine is so pricey too. The mussels which we have had before lacked chilli and there were fewer of them. All in all lacklustre.
Such a great spot for a relaxed Sunday afternoon, late lunch/early dinner over drinks, watching the sun set. Seafood platter is great value, delicious and beautifully presented.
Amazing service! :) food and the view was loving! Will definitely be back!
Good value amd atmosphere. Food fantastic The grilled octopus was delicious
The Staff were very friendly and helpful both in terms of ordering and cleaning up. The food was excellent value for money
Great food great service. Highly recommend the place, but book a least the day before. Always busy
Seafood platter amazing! compliment to the Chef(s)
Perfect spot for brunch! Especially if you can grab a table close to beach 🤩
Great location. Food was delicious and staff very friendly
Food and service is terrific. What an amazing view at sunset - you just need to sit in a chair facing the water
great food, great value for Money. Waiters were very friendly and helpful with the menu. Presentation was great.
Great service and value. Highly recommend the seafood platter for sharing. Very fresh seafood and great location.
the food and service was great will be planning another trip there very soon. Good value for money.
Stood around for a while upon arrival waiting to be greeted
Overall Good food nice atmosphere
Nice view ,maybe a little bit noisy but butI'm old anyway.
Friendly service not sure about the coffee burmt thata matter of tastes.
The Boatshed never disappoints. The food. The service. The view. The atmosphere.
I highly recommend.
The food was good! Would love to have a sea view even for 3 people because is a beautiful place.
We ordered the Lobster Linguine (AMAZING!), Seafood Platter for onw (everything was cooked perfectly!), Lychee Martini, Passionfruit Mojito and Chocolate Mousse. Will definitely go back! 🙃
Good food, although the BBQ octopus shouldn't be called "baby octopus" when it isn't. The venue got really hot inside they need to invest in getting some ceiling fans.
Fantastic food and service the price was well undercoat I expected and a great view over botany Bay highly recommend this restaurant
A pleasant outlook over the bay, especially at a window table. We ordered lobster linguine and linguine marinara, both of which were tasty and a good portion. Service was a bit lacking, especially since the restaurant was almost empty. Closure at 8pm on a Tuesday night seemed a buit early & the meal was rushed as a result.
The food is really good, the atmosphere is very good too, the best place to spend time and have a decent meal with family, friends or colleagues.
Nice food, good position, service a bit inexperienced.
Will go again for the food.
We went for breakfast, it was a slightly overcast cool day but the experience was so relaxing and serene. We loved the eggs Benedict with salmon and side of halloumi, strong latte and cappuccino. The view was excellent we could see schools of fish swimming!
It was good, but food took a little while to come out, but otherwise very happy. Speciality cocktails were Great!
The food was plentiful ( we had the seafood platter for 4) and pretty good. The only let down was the battered fish which was slightly over cooked. All in all the meal and service were good and we would come back. Some fans or better airflow would be nice as it was quite hot inside. I wouldn’t eat there on a day when the temperature is over 30.
The wine list could also do with some improvement. Get a good sommelier to look at it
Lovely location and great food. Make sure you but ok or get there early on a sunny day as it is popular
From booking our table to paying our bill, everything was great.
Do the seafood platter. Everything on the plate was great. Nothing too oily or soggy.
The mojito was too sweet.
Great food, great atmosphere and great view. What more could you want!
Great place with scenic views and lovely atmosphere. Friendly and accommodating service. Good was nice especially the seafood platter for 4, which was more than enough. Very busy so.would recommend reservations during peak times and warmer weather.
