My entree, flounder stuffed with crab meat was served to me raw. Two of my companions ordered the crab melt sandwich open faced on a ciabatta roll, and found they could not cut through the top of the roll even after requesting a steak knife. We have eaten at this restaurant many times before, this being the first time we returned since the pandemic and Ian. This was grossly disappointing.

Ordered paella without octopus dinner comes loaded with octopus. Dinner was not hot. Lucky that it was even warm. Other couple wrong vegetable delivered drink order wrong type of glass, waited too long for our food. We have gone there many times this time the experience was not good will not return, there were not many people in the restaurant. You have to ask yourself why, in such a busy season things have changed portions has changed, prices have changed

Upon reviewing our bill we were charged full price for our wine (happy hour prices were in effect) My husband ordered the 8 oz prime rib and we were charged for 12oz. We asked for anchovies with our Caesar’s to which she said it has been a year since they have been offered. We then overheard the server behind us ask the patrons if they wanted anchovies with their salad. Our server was not of drinking age and mixed up our Chardonnay with Sauvignon Blanc and our Cabernet Sauvignon with Sauvignon Blanc. A little more training might be helpful.

Good variety of food choices on the menu. Glad we reserved a table while still on the road as The Boathouse was extremely busy. The dining area reminded me of my grade school lunch room because the noise level of everyone talking was loud. Like I said, The Boathouse was full of patrons. Our wait time was minimal upon arrival.

We read great reviews so we booked in advance in coming to Naples. We asked for a window seat. We got tucked in a corner in between the beverage service area for waiters and a table of two on the other side of the glass so we were a foot from them with glass separating us. Between all the wait staff filling drinks and conversing right there and inability to see much due to the location we were very disappointed in the ambiance and noise level. My meal which was the sea bass was amazing and I highly recommend. However, my husband and my parents ordered the stuffed gulf shrimp. These were not the jumbo shrimp - definitely medium sized. The crab was lumped on top of each and was pretty much a cheap shredded crab cake with lots of bread. All 3 were very disappointed in the meal. In comparison my sea bass had large chunks of crab on top and was amazing. Because of the noise in the place, the speaker and the spot next to the beverage service and bar, we were not able to converse easily and I wish I had insisted on a different table.

The food was ok, but not worth the price. The service was slow. And to top it off, this was for my wife’s birthday and they acknowledged it when I checked in. However, they totally forgot about it after we waited forever for the check. Won’t be going back here.

We were seated at a cozy, quiet corner table. Our server was excellent with taking and delivering our food in a timely manner. We did not feel rushed or bothered throughout our dining experience. We ordered the Hollander & De Kooning Mussels as an appetizer which was plenty for two. The sauce is what makes it for sure. My husband ordered the Seafood Norfolk which he enjoyed. It really had lump crabmeat in it. My dish was the Sea Scallops Grenobloise which was delicious and more than I could eat. These are our favorite dishes but since this was our first visit, we look forward to checking out other choices on our next visit.

Great view. Food is very good. Had a party of six last night and the rice was under cooked and sent back. Considerable wait for rice which eventuated in meal cooling off. However, in general the food and service has been good as I have dined at the Boathouse on several occasions. They get a pass this time. Things happen. Great bay view.

On a rainy day, we were easily accommodated inside for lunch. The menu is extensive. Everything was tasty. We were not rushed and the service was friendly and professional. We drove 2+ hours to meet folks from the east coast of Florida and had a great time.

A must dining experience! Best Alaskan King Crab entree and the lobster bisque was OUTSTANDING! Service was attentive and the timing of courses was spot on! Thank you Boathouse. We will always come back!

The food was very good, but the tables were crammed together and way too noisy. Definitely need more servers for the number of people. Don’t think we’ll be back before summer.
