I wouldn’t go back there for a free meal. Service is mediocre, food is okay but not memorable, noise is horrendous.
Delicious! Tasha, our server was excellent and masked at all times. Tables were socially distant
I usually go to the Boat House for the fish, but my husband said I had to try the burger. Yum. Ambiance is the best. My only complaint on this trip was that we were inside and it was very chilly. Bring a jacket!
Outside dining. Great location, even better food.
Great food, location and atmosphere! Must try gluten free chocolate cake!!
This place could use a visit from Gordon Ramsey. They have a good piece of property and seem to be running it into the ground.
We should have realized in the beginning we should go elsewhere when the hostess could not get her act together and manage the people checking in.
Our waiter went from curt to rude as the night wore on and appeared to be running around like crazy, but we aren’t sure why. Everyone inside was not happy about the service. Tables of patrons were noticeable upset about the lack of service inside-maybe he had a stack of tables outside? When I ordered and asked a question about what the seasonal vegetables were I was told that was next and to wait. Then he just all of the sudden, brutishly said, “Broccoli, is that the correct answer?”
The menu was extensive and on the top of most sections it gives a list of all the accompaniments. Way too long to list, I will shorten to a choice of vegetable and a starch. Don’t bother reading or deciding if you venture there though. The waiter will immediately say house salad or Caesar and then move on to his next victim. No one but me got a vegetable or starch at our table. Just a salad. I got the broccoli - guess because I dared to ask about the seasonal veggies.
The food was eh. The bread was cold and out of a bag. My crab was over cooked and most likely nuked. My husband’s lobster and Mac was ok, but was more of a shareable app than a meal. My sister-in-law’s soup was luke warm at best. My brother came out the best with the grouper sandwich, but that was the only thing on the plate.
At first we thought staffing was the issue, but there were at least 10 staff members on the floor chatting by the bar or off to the side with two staff literally running around.
I was waiting for Gordon Ramsey to jump up and yell, “Ok, stop! I’ve seen enough, shut it down!” But it never happened.
We arrived at 5:45 but a waiter did not come to our table until a few minutes after 6 PM. When we asked about happy hour, the waiter commented that he just found out about our table and that we were not entitled to a drink at happy hour pricing. Although not a dealbreaker, it set the tone for the rest of the night. Our food was good But not great and over priced. Our service was mediocre at best. There are many other choices in the area so settling for mediocre it’s not likely anytime soon.
Great service and great selection of food. Great price point.
Everyone in the group had high praise for the food. The Clams Casino is excellent as is the Scallops Grenoblois. Our waitress was enthusiastic and very enjoyable to work with. The new furniture in the outdoor seating area makes for a comfortable and scenic dining experience. One of the best in Naples.
Can’t say a bad thing about it
Loved visiting this local place! Our waitress was super sweet and helpful. Be patient! They get busy. It’s worth it.
Just noise from airplanes & boaters, but not bothersome. So nice to eat out on the patio
The service was horrible. We waited 15 minutes to be seated outside. Once we were seated there were at least 10 tables open so I had no idea why we had to wait. Once seated it took us at least 20 minutes to get our drinks. We wanted to order a second round of drinks and and after waiting again I had to go inside to the bar to order our drinks because our waitress was no where to be found. I had no idea where our waitress was most of the night. We eat out2-3 times a week and I would say that was probably one of our worst experiences. The quality of the food for the price was very poor as well. I would not recommend going to this restaurant if you’re looking for a good meal/service.
Eating delicious food while gazing out over the water always makes dining at the Boathouse a delightful experience. The pastas were incredible and the desserts divine.
Ambience on the water was awesome. Requested outdoor seating through Open Table and seating was great. Food was very good and good variety to choose from on the menu.
Only suggestion to offer a refill on water as that was the only beverage I ordered and only received one glass on a hot sunny day.
Other than that minor blip., I highly recommend.
Celebrated our wedding anniversary. Always make it a point to visit the boathouse whenever we’re in Naples. Food is excellent and server was awesome Highly recommend
A little disappointed. Yes of course the location was great, but our drinks didn’t come until AFTER our salads. The waitress mixed up tables. Food was mediocre.
Very disappointing.
It was Awesome 🎈🎈🎈/Just Us so it was a romantic night candles 🕯 champagne 🥂 & Cake = We were happy 😃
Food was average. There are way too many great restaurants in Naples. Probably won't be back.
We've been getting the Boathouse for 11 years and have always considered it one of our favorite places to eat in the Naples area. Always had great food, happy hour and location on the water. Unfortunately it has not been such a great experience the last few times we went there. Our meals have been sub par and the drinks don't seem to be made by professional bartenders. We have brought many friends with us but I hate to say I'm not sure we'll go back unless things change.
Really nice view for a date night, staff was a pleasure and the food was hot & cooked to perfection!
Always great food and awesome service. OUr server took the time to learn about where we were from.
20 year anniversary
Good food with a lovely view. Nice seafood selection.
Beautiful setting with a large menu and excellent service. We will go back.
Great casual place to eat on the water in the bay area if Naples. We sat on their outside deck and we had a nice table with a nice view. Service was good and so was the food. If you are looking for a good seafood meal at a reasonable price with a water view this is the restaurant for you. I would highly recommend.
The seafood was excellent. Our party had snow crab and Brazilian lobster which were outstanding. A couple of our group members who don’t do seafood ordered the filet mignon and NY strip. We don’t recommend either. The spinach that came with the beef was delicious. Ambience - if you are in the mood for dining in an extremely boisterous atmosphere, you will love it. We were not, and found it very disturbing to our meal. COVID consideration is nonexistent. Tables are nearly on top of each other and this restaurant is seating parties practically together, barely room to leave the table once you are seated. Our waitress removed her mask to speak with us as well. Even though the seafood is great, we will not dine here again due to the so-so quality of steaks and the ear bursting noise level. Prices are also very high.
Overall experience would be summed up as chaotic. The two hostesses were young, dismissive and too concerned with internal drama. Not one but two trays of food were dropped. It didn't appear that there was any manager on duty to oversee the running of the restaurant.
We had great food and service! Veronica was very attentive, and pleasant! We enjoyed sitting outside and relaxing!
Had the crab and lobster... Wonderful!
Great spot for outdoor dining. Food and service very good.
I ordered Alaskan Halibut. They brought me 3 different fish.....none were halibut. It’s an expensive piece of fish so I would expect that they would know. The service was something I would expect at Stan’s not a fine dining restaurant. The server was very rough around the edges
Visiting guest really enjoyed the whole experience. Great menu, great food.
Will return
Great waitress. Food was ok. The noise was unbearable.
Tables were very cramped and 2 of the seats were in direct sunlight on a very warm day. 1 Hostess very nice the other was rude - not only to us but to several people that were inquiring about a table. We luckily had reservations which are pretty much required even if there are several open tables.
The food was outstanding and the atmosphere was very nice.
Great service, decent food and sweet location
Food was ok service was horrible. The presentation of food was horrible. Wouldn’t go back.
Great service and food!!!!
Came here to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We all loved it. Good food and a really nice water view.
Great experience on the patio.
