The Boathouse restaurant and event spaces wed the town’s impeccable waterfront views with authentic, locally-sourced cuisine. From the classically Southern shrimp and grits featuring sausage from Surry, VA to pizza made with authentic Italian recipe dough, the menu is distinctive and, most importantly, delicious.

I think I've reviewed this before, so this may sound familiar: we like their Sunday brunch omelet bar. The omelets are inventive and delicious. The accompanying "buffet/bar" of sides is delicious: crispy bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, biscuits.... I gave only 4 stars for "value" because I really don't like to pay $5 for a cup of decaf, which was all I really would like to drink. The French Press pot is delicious, so it's worth it, but I'd like another choice. We'll definitely return.

We had a great brunch at The Boathouse celebrating our engagement with our families. The manager even went out of her way to congratulate us and offer us a champagne toast. It was such a lovely day!

The food was excellent! We’ve eaten at the Rockets Landing location and loved it as well but, Sunday Park offers better views in my opinion. It is especially beautiful at sunset.

My wife and I had a very good dinner and service. Excellent view from the 2nd floor of the lake. The chilled seafood platter was great just as it is at the Rockettes Landing location.

This is our go to restaurant for celebrations or having visitors. My wife usually doesn’t like the menu choices but the chef was able to find her an entree that was GF and dairy free. She loved the Risotto. My other 3 kids loved their meal too.

My mom and I had a wonderful seafood dinner with a beautiful sunset. She had the special, a grilled salmon over cheese grits and it was divine! I had the whole lobster with mash potatoes - also good. We ordered a bottle of wine and the apple crumb dessert. Our waiter was training a new waitress and everything went perfectly. Will definitely be back when it’s a tad warmer to eat outside and really enjoy the view.

A party of 4 we ordered: Surf and Turf, New York Strip, Broiled seafood combo, a Cesar Salad w/chicken, a Nice little tossed salad, Calamari, Black out Chocolate Cake, Bread Pudding and a Zookie. All exquisite, with a flavor palette to die for! Hostess and Server were excellent as well, very attentive but not intrusive. Awesome dining experience!!

Everything was great! Although by 7 p.m. they had run out of the duck confit, I ended up having a very small portion of redfish I stead. It was sla small portion for the price, but it was very tasty. I will definitely go to The Boathouse again.

This was our first time there. We went thinking we were having dinner, but was informed it was still Brunch. I had already had in mind what I was getting. It wasn’t on the menu, so I ordered a Brussel Sprout salad. I was some what disappointed that I was not getting my steak. The waitress ended up getting me my steak and lobster anyway. The salad, steak, and lobster was very delicious. Thank you all for everything!!

Enjoyed our lunch but it would have been better if we had had a water view. We were stuck upstairs against the wall so it was dark and we couldn’t see the water. Also we didn’t feel like ordering the omelet or waffle bar was a good choice because we would have to carry our own food up the rather steep steps. There was a ladder on the stair landing that made it impossible for two people to pass.

We love The Boathouse. Mostly, everything was great as usual. The only thing is you have to actually request bread, which is delicious by the way. Once we received our bread at the table, I had already completed my meal. I ate and enjoyed it anyway as "dessert"! Also, they ask "Is this a special occasion?". When I made the reservations, I advised that it was my man friends birthday. The waitress also asked. I don't even know why they ask, because they did nothing different than usual, whether it is someones birthday or not. Love the Filet Mignon Oscar! Perfection!

We have been to the Boathouse at Sunday Park many times. Love to go in summer time and have a cocktail on the deck. The view is great. The service is always great and the food is wonderful. We have also been to the Boathouse at Short Pump and Hopewell. All are very nice. This last time at Sunday Park was the first time we used the OpenTable app to book a reservation. It was easy and worked like it should. We received a confirmation email and later the restaurant called to confirm also. Good experience.

Dining experience was great as usual. My husband had the filet and I had the salmon. Both were cooked to perfection. Our drinks were made to our specifications. The service was great as well. The only con was that we were seated next to a large table celebrating a Birthday and they were loud at times. Otherwise, everything was excellent and we definitely will return.

It was wine Wednesday so we tasted the various wines (at Sunday Park this is the first Wednesday in the month), they were great. They are 1/2 price so we chose 1 to drink with our meal and 1 to take home. This evening we chose appetizers for our meal. We got the mussels, fried oysters, and Zucchini chips. All were prepared excellently. We just love their Zucchini chips. The oysters were cooked to perfection: the same is true of the mussels. No complaints at all. We love this restaurant!

Food was not cooked as requested. Service was very slow. Brussel sprouts were warm and very hard. We split a Spinach salad it was delivered as one full salad, told the female it was supposed to be split, she said Oh we thought you could split it. Salmon was ordered med rare, delivered twice well done first time it was near burnt; second time just ate it tired to the treatment.
We eat at Boathouse regularly and this was a very different experience that we have ever had, I am very disappointed.
