Good place for birthdays but can be pricey. They even comp'd one of our desserts because we were there for a birthday!
I took my love out in near my home so I found a place I wanted to try. He enjoy everything. I hope we come again. Everything was excellent
Waitstaff was prompt and personable, food was terrific, didn't feel rushed even though the place was busy. Love the setting right on top of the river, lots of windows. One of my new favorites!
Great confusion over omlette bar and self-serve buffet.
Ambiance is great can’t wait to come back in warmer weather. But seafood choices were slim to none for fish entree. Salmon was farm raised. Server was great.
Beautiful view of the river and we were able to watch the sunset from our table. The service and seafood were wonderful. Very nice place to celebrate a special occasion.
We went for NYE and our reservation was for 8pm. We did not actually get seated until 8:45pm because our table was occupied. The manager on duty (I assume) gave us an appetizer on the house & prepared a new table for us. The food was good but my steak was undercooked. Had we not waited so long, I would have sent it back. However, my boyfriend offered to switch entrees with me. This definitely was not my best experience here and was disappointing .
As always the Boathouse was special. It was New Years Eve so it was mire crowded than usual and the noice level was higher. That being said, we had a wonderful evening.
This was our 20th anniversary dinner. We expected it to be busy and loud for New Year's Eve. We were disappointed with the meal preparation. My wife ordered an 8oz. Filet prepared medium. The filet was served rare. She sent it back and was returned still not prepared medium. For a higher end venue you would expect your steak to be prepared and served correctly. She substituted the mashed potatoes with pasta which was way over cooked. The presentation was the pasta on the plate with the filet and Brussel sprouts on top of the pasta. why not serve on separate plates for a more pleasing presentation? Attention to detail is important and proper food prep is paramount.
