   It’s been a great spot but it’s starting to look pretty tired. Needs a thorough clean - floors/wash rooms etc are a bit grubby & everywhere needs a refresh! The menu is good but presentation is pretty lacking & they seemed understaffed when we went. The rice noodles in the salad I had were swimming in soy sauce & the watermelon component was a pretty stingy serve. They’ve been better & I hope they will be again soon!!

   Achingly beautiful scenery , nice menu , well cooked - but the service was a little slow - however it was super friendly (starters came really quick , but mains were the slow end of acceptable made worse by slow service ) Would definitely return , great place and nice people

   Perfect reunion lunch as always. Very well looked after on our new favourite table and menu range & quality met our discerning requirements very well 😊

   The entire team at the boat house are lovely, friendly , kind and professional. Sadly the service was so slow. We didn’t get our drinks until after our food arrived. They were delicious. The coffee was not hot but lovely as well. The setting is extraordinary and that is the reason we were there. Smiles from the team all around and for that we were grateful. We will return!

   The restaurant has a lively atmosphere with pleasant views over looking the River Thames. The food was good. However, the service was poor. This is the second of three visits to this restaurant where the service was unacceptable. We are unlikely to go again. We consider that waiting over half an hour to have our plates cleared is very poor and consequently we did not have a dessert. A shame because the venue is good.

   The restaurant and the view of River Thames is beautiful. The food was good but not excellent. Service was good and the ambience was calm for the first part of my meal. The second part was less so and I lost my appetite.
