The service could have been better, I’m sorry to say. I’ve been here once before and the experience was very different. A server introduced herself originally—and then we had to chase her down for the rest of the night—to take out order (which must have been 45 minutes after we were seated), to deliver plates, to deliver serving spoons, to order another drink, to get our check. She never once stopped by the table and asked how our food was. She didn’t seem to be able to answer simple questions about the menu either. Luckily for us, another server with pigtails took over (and I wish I could remember her name) she was attentive and pleasant and we wish we had her initially. It was a bit annoying when our side dish was delivered and we could flag down a waiter for 10 or 15 minutes, so I had to walk over to the service area and request plates and spoons be brought to the table and the person I asked, seemed annoyed. As far as the food… Drinks were very good, especially the specialty cocktails. The food was fine as well.

We had heard about brunch here and wanted to check it out. I have struggled with the food quality a bit at Bluebird but I found their food for brunch was a step up. Two of us had steak and eggs (small piece of steak), and one of us had the eggs benedict (Florentine). Both were quite good! Our waiter was attentive especially towards the end of our meal. Entrees ranged from around $15-$25 a piece so not cheap, but not too expensive, either. Overall, it was a good experience- just not anything too special.

Another delicious dinner at Bluebird. We met friends for an "earlybird special" and were pleasantly surprised that it was $1 oysters before 5pm! Delicious. I had the cod special...fantastic and NO potatoes, just a side of rabe. Perfection. May go back on Monday for some jazz!

It was nice to be in a booth far from the bar area so we could hear. We were hoping to have our salads before our main dishes, but everything arrived at the same time. Bummer. Salads were large enough for 2! Thought the dishes were tasty, especially the brussel sprouts. But the chicken skewer was overcooked. I don’t mind the grilled areas, but it was dried out.

Love this place. My only concern is the noise level. However, we requested a quieter table & were seated accordingly. It was less noisy than some other locations on the room. The food is very well prepared.

My group had a most enjoyable early dinner with great oysters, side dishes, including excellent crispy French fries, and fun service from the staff. Very relaxed & friendly. We are happy to have this restaurant nearby & dine regularly there.

I ate here about 5 weeks ago and the food was incredible and so was the service. I went back last night and ordered all the same dishes because I enjoyed them so much and they were barely sub-par. The chef eliminated quinoa from my dish because he waiter said it was a change he made to keep it gluten free. But quinoa is already gluten free. The herbed fries had no herbs on them. And the pot de creme dessert tasted like it was made days ago and stored in the fridge. I was so disappointed as I was ready to make this a regular spot we ate at after the first experience but now won’t be back.

First time trying this restaurant. Server was friendly and attentive. Even though tables are close together it was not loud, but I imagine it could get loud when busy. The food was tasty but menu rather limited. Would like to see more choices.

We last went to Bluebird with our 2 year old grandson. Our server came over immediately and took our drink order. We asked to put an order in for our grandson and the food came quickly. Always a very good thing with a 2 year old. Our meals were delicious. We were well cared for. Bluebird is a very good local restaurant.

It was a slow Sunday evening in August, incredibly attentive service. Food was tasty, I had the steak, the hub had the bolognese. Portions were good sized, and food was very well cooked. They could use a few more entrees added to the menu. Snacks & apps, were plentiful if you’re looking for that. A few salads that could be ordered with a skewer, and a burger were also offered Had the flan for dessert - yum.

Jesse was a fantastic server and our food was good. We ordered multiple apps and entrees and had no complaints. The cocktails were good, not great and pricier than they should be. All in all, 4/5. We will be back.

The good part -- the staff are very nice. I had the kale salad as the side with my burger and it was delicious. The not perfect part. Burgers were pretty small. They were fine, but not great. The menu could use some tweaking in my opinion. There were not tons of options. They have kebabs that they put on salad, but they don't really go with the salad options. They could sell kebab plates and put the kebabs with some rice pilaf dish and a green veggie. Also, the night we were there the sodas were not mixed correctly -- the flavor was off. Our server replaced the first glass but it was the same.

Food was delicious but waiter forgot to take a party member’s order. It was eventually taken but we cancelled it coz was too late. Appetizers were served with main meal. Huh? Seems like a good place but service isn’t there yet.
