   Starters were minuscule. Although very tasty 3 tiny scallops does not a starter make. Very disappointing. Main course of steak was unbelievably tuff and very small indeed also very disappointing Previous visits have been fine but this last visit has really clouded my opinion of this restaurant

   Not the best meal we've had at the Bluebell. Bland. Not value for money for a basic bar meal. Fish and chips and burger. Fish small. Peas watery. Burger on plain small cob with no extras. Disappointed. We dont go out for meals as often as we used to so generally try to choose the restaurants we can rely on! This is the exact reason we stay at home. I can do better. Shame.

    We had a fantastic Saturday lunch. The pub was busy but the service was friendly and efficient. The food was wonderful as always, lots of interesting choices along side pub classics. We will be back again very soon.

    Had a wonderful family meal at the Bluebell on Friday night, food was fabulous and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. Service was excellent as always. My absolute favourite place to eat, already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you 🙏🏻

    Had an excellent business lunch at the Bluebell in Wingfield. The food was well presented and tasted perfect and we are covered it with some nice beer and a bottle of wine. The restaurant is very well decorated and maintained, very modern and contemporary with a feeling of the old as well.

    We were the only people for lunch on a snowy day. A long awaited catch up with old friends. Had the pub to ourselves and had a great meal and lots of fun and laughter.

    Lovely evening celebrating my dad's birthday. Beautiful venue, layout and ambiance. Service a little slow at one point. Our food was delicious, yet the portions were very small for our hungry tummies. Hence the price was a little expensive for the small amount of food served. That said, we really enjoyed what we had.

    Enjoyable food. We had fish and chips which were cooked well. I would say that the portions were fairly small ( although for me we're fine) The menu choice was very limited and the fish and chips was the only choice I had so I wouldn't go back I don't think. Over priced for what it was I would say

    Love coming to the blue bell the food is gorgeous and glad they have options for children too! We love our Sunday dinners here! Wish there were more options for just a drink though rather then dining.

    Atmosphere and space great; service quick and friendly; beef and fish delicious. BUT cappuccino tasted like burnt acorns - a lot worse than before - have the beans changed? Worst of all was the vegetarian selection: very lacking in imagination and not good value. Non meat eaters clearly not welcome!"

    Arrived over 1 hour early for our reservation and was able to be seated straight away. Welcoming and polite staff. Briar was our server - did a great job! Food was delicious and hot. Next time we are in the area we will definitely go back.

    Great dining experience. We we warmly greeted and not rushed. The menu is not vast, a good choice of meat/fish/vegetarian. The steak delicious and cooked perfectly. Others enjoyed their lamb/fish/ halloumi. The wine menu was also good. The service was very good. Lovely atmosphere. Definitely recommend The Bluebell.

    First time we’d eaten here. We picked it as it had really good reviews. It was clean, the toilets were lovely and very clean! The main eating area was clean but lacked a bit of character. The cushions had a few pulls on the cotton, maybe need replacing. We didn’t have a starter, the main chicken and leek pie, veg and gravy, I would say was nice but a good cook would make it tastier at home, the chicken was good but the sauce was a bit watery and so was the gravy. I also much prefer the pastry to be shortcrust on a pie than a lid of flaky pastry that just doesn’t feel substantial for a pie. The desserts however were top class and very tasty, we had the caremelised rice pudding and the pan a cotta. The ice creams that came with the desserts were very tasty too, one was pistachio and the other almond, very nice. Just some little tweaks would make a big difference! If the room was made cosier and the gravy maybe made from the juices of the cooked meat and thickened up a bit and the sauce too in the pie and made with shortcrust pastry then it would be much better. Also we didn’t like the pie and the chips in extra pots on the plate, it would’ve been nicer to be on the plate ready to eat. The service was good and the girls attentive. The beer was nice too! A few little tweaks would make it recommendable:-)

    Lovely atmosphere and really accommodating to our needs. We have allergies and had our children with us for dinner. Everything was checked and clarified with us - it was all amazing. Highly recommend.
