We love the quiet coastal location & estuary views. The cottage has a real bright & cosy ambience. The service is attentive, friendly & polite. Great, fresh & different food menu with extensive choice of drinks. Good value & equally good experience. Certainly would recommend & revisit.

Lovely as usual. The menu is just divine. Beautiful seafood and wines. The haloumi donuts were a treat!

We dinned in the venue Saturday night and the only two faults were as follows no task lighting to read the menu and only 1 local wine both items in my view would give the venue 5 stars.

I love this cafe as it is close to home and the food is beautiful. However, the noise level from the kitchen was deafening ! The clashing of cutlery and plates right near the tables is so disturbing. The room needs something to absorb and reduce the loudness bouncing around the room. It was really difficult to have a conversation without shouting at each other :(

What a find! gorgeous little place tucked away behind 7 mile beach. Fabulous service, with a lovely friendly ambiance and exquisitely crafted dishes - creative and delicious. The lemon and rosemary cannoli a standout. Can’t wait to go back and sample some more.

This is a special restaurant in a special place. The food is always creative and well prepared. The service is casual but attentive. Not a place for a business meeting but instead every other sort of gathering, this restaurant will fit the bill.

Always take the time to have brunch at this place. Great vibe excellent food and friendly staff. The fresh cakes on the way out are amazing!

I ALWAYS LOVE COMING TO BLUE SWIMMER. IT IS A GREAT SEASIDE RESTAURANT AND CAFE WHICH CAPTURES THE MOOD OF GERROA PERFECTLY. I LOVE THE SEASONAL PRODUCE, BUZZY VIBE AND RELAXED YET ATTENTIVE SERVICE. IT'S EXACTLY WHAT YOU WANT WHEN YOU COME TO THE BEACH.

Always a great spot for any time of day, but took 5 mates for breakfast this time. Lovely meal. Friends from Sydney thought it was wonderful. Outstanding food and friendly service.

We were staying in the area, and this restaurant was recommended by locals, it was a great venue,

busy, but service was great, and the serves were generous, oysters fresh, fish of the day Marlan, and desert donuts, all wonderful.

We would certainly book again if in the area, and tell friends about it.

We went here for my birthday dinner on a Saturday night. I was keen to go there for the seafood chowder after seeing it on Channel sevens Sydney weekender. The place was freezing with the only heat provided by a small heater in the corner of the room. We how cold it was but it nothing seem to change and we kept our warm winter jackets on throughout the experience.

Staff are very friendly but the wait for mains took forever. Corkage of 12 bucks is a bit much I thought as well. We stayed in Gerroa so there were few options for breakfast out in the morning so we thought we would give it another go. The breakfast was great. For the optional mushrooms as an extra its expensive (additional 8 dollars but they were nice and spicy).

If you do find yourself here do try the tomatoes. They are awesome having been smoked in their smoker. The coffee is good. In the morning we asked for the warmest spot in the place but we all agreed it was still cold.

Nice cafe with a splendid view on Gerroa beach. Fish tacos & sweet potatoes were nice. But shame that the standard of the restaurant has not been kept. It just feels more like a cafe now.

My partner and I had a lovely time at the Blue Swimmer for his birthday. The food used fresh ingredients which were paired well together and everything was cooked to perfection. Only problem was that we had to wait a while for our mains to come out, otherwise everything was great. I recommend the ceviche.

Lovely place. Noisy though. Food was superb. Service was attentive but not friendly. On
Saturday night perhaps a bit of stress. This does not mean we don't adore coming here. The place has great charm and the food is innovative. Love it. Best, Lb.

Been there for dinner a few times now and it never disappoints. New menu very creative across all courses with wholesome servings.

We had a great catch up with family and friends. The children were well catered for and any special requests delivered without fuss. All the meals were fantastic and the drinks list was excellent. The dessert donuts were so good we had to get takeaways the next night as well. Definitely looking for the next time.

I love this place. We have a weekender in the area and everytime we are coming down, we make sure we book this restaurant in advance to avoid disappointment. Great holiday foodie spot.

We have visited the Blue Swimmer in Gerroa many times and always found it a great place to eat at. A little gem in fact. This time (and special occasion) we were slightly disappointed in the service due to a number of confusions. We also had to wait too long for our desserts (in the end we had to ask for them) and the coffee order had got lost between us and the coffee machine.
That being said- The food was good and the restaurant was beaming with people, it was an exceptionally hot day and lots of energy about. We still love the place and will keep coming back for birthdays and get togethers!

We had an absolutely beautiful family meal here for my birthday. The food was tasty, unique, filling and healthy. The service was authentic and attentive. I wish they were in Sydney as we we would now be regulars. Can't recommend it enough!

As always, Blue Swimmer is fabulous for food, service and outstanding location. Just one aspect- noise levels / acoustics could possibly be improved with some soft furnishings or textiles. With a group of 8 was little hard to hear down the table. But definitely worth it!!
