Tuna tower is very good
Wonderful meal as usual at The Blue Fish. Tuna Tower was amazing as a starter plus an order of fabulous Brussel sprouts. Prices have gone up during Covid but the food is still amazing. Hubby had a yummy pear margarita. Chicken Teriyaki was healthy and was delicious. Sashimi was a hit with my husband.
Service was excellent. Food was just ok - I was kind of disappointed because it used to be so yummy. Also, this new location has terrible parking options. But again, wait staff was incredible!
I wouldn’t really bother. There are so many other sushi places that knock this one out of the park. Galleria has gone downhill but I thought the restaurants were keeping up, not the case here.
Spent $45 on fatty tuna sashimi that was not very good at all. Roles were messy and not especially flavorful.

being an "Award Winning" sushi restaurant I had high hopes. Definitely, an average run-of-the-mill sushi restaurant you expect at any wherever you're from place. The bar area is nice but the dining area looks unthought out and empty.
The food was outstanding, and the waitress was fantastic. The only draw back was that they did not have Tito Vodka for our drinks.
This place is just bad. Felt like I was having dinner in a HS cafeteria.
First time going here. Easy to order. Fast service and great sushi!
Even though it wasn't busy, our service was slow. We ordered total of 6 sushi rolls and the timing of them being served was off. The last roll we received after we were done with the rest about 20 minutes later! It was a lot of waiting in between.
Food presentation superior. Food taste average. Service was lacking. Ambiance was very boring and drab.

Didnt end up staying, we went for happy hour and was told we couldn’t get the happy hour menu. Online it says till 7 but they stopped happy hour at 6 , manager was very rude about it , we needed u leaving and enjoying a different happy hour elsewhere
We frequent the Greenville location. Could not get in there "covid etc". Anyway the staff was great and the food was consistent with expectations. In short we enjoyed my wife's 40 birthday while our 6 year old ate all the Sushi!
Everybody’s food came out at different times, and it was probably 45 minutes before we had the last of the food. There was like no one in the restaurant, and they kept telling us that to go orders were backed up. But shouldn’t you prioritize your dine in customers? The waitress was sweet but everything else about the service sucked. The sushi was great though which was a shame
I’ve heard really good things about this place but overall I was not impressed… The inside looked like any other sushi restaurant. The menu wasn’t anything special, service was OK, and they only gave us one menu.
For the price of the sushi I was not blown away by the quality… Probably won’t be back
The Blue Fish continues to be my go-to spot for delicious and well prepared sushi. Always fresh, always a beautiful presentation. My favorite is their Ahi Tuna Tower, the rainforest roll & the rock Manhattan. This was the first time I’d been to their galleria location since they moved from Frankfort. Our waitress was thoughtful and prompt always making sure I had water/cocktail. The manager stopped by our table to make sure everything was to our liking. It was quiet for a Friday night, but the mall closed at 7 with Covid. Will definitely be back!
Got the blue fish tower with salmon and it was delicious. Recommend for happy hour 4pm-6pm! Also, be aware that this is near the galleria mall and parking is a bit further than expected.
Incredibly fresh fish and large portions (particularly the rolls). The assorted sashimi (off the menu) was absolutely delicious!
First time at this location. Good atmosphere. Maybe a wee bit stark but that's probably more to do with COVID and few patrons than the restaurants intent. Service was decent. Server could have been a little more attentive, but the manager seemed to fill in the gaps well. Sincere, helpful staff. Food was incredible and consistent with the Blue Fish brand.

We’ve been going to The Blue Fish for years but hadn’t been since they relocated from the North Dallas location to The Galleria. We always frequented North Dallas because the north Plano location wasn’t as good. Same menu but for some odd reason the execution wasn’t the same. I can’t say that this new location is an improvement. The parking isn’t nearly as convenient and the foot traffic that I’m assuming caused them to choose this location in the first place is almost nonexistent. The sushi is still fresh and delicious. Don’t miss out on the Ahi Tuna Tower. Many sushi restaurants have tried to copy this dish but none is as good as the one at Blue Fish. The restaurant was fairly empty as Dallasites haven’t embraced restaurant eating again. However, the waitstaff seemed to be quite overwhelmed. Our server delivered out tuna tower to our table with the promise that he would be back to mix it for us but never reappeared. Yes, we can mix it ourself but in these days of eating (and cooking) at home, it’s a luxury to have someone else do the stirring for once. We ordered a couple of items that must have been forgotten because they showed up with we were almost finished with our meal. This location is smaller than the old North Dallas store but they still have a large bar area. What is now missing is the hibachi grill. While we don’t eat at the hibachi tables, it’s nice to have when we’re dining with friends who aren’t big sushi fans or aren’t familiar with it. The hibachi area at the old location seemed to do a good business so I’m not sure why they’ve given up on it. Perhaps because it requires a huge ventilation system? Who knows?! To sum it up, we definitely won’t give up on Blue Fish but I wouldn’t be surprised if this location doesn’t make it. They definitely need to step up their game! We may try the Greenville Ave. location next time. Not nearly as convenient but hopefully not a hot mess like The Galleria location.

Service was horrible. Are server had no idea what’s on the menu. Got our order wrong. He didn’t know what to do when he brought the wrong food. That’s beside the fact that the restaurant started to to flood. The smell was intense. For sure not returning

Understaffed and not trained staff
To top off the night. Plumbing in bathroom broke and water entered into the. Restaurant. Smell not so good.
Had a reservation then when arrived was told they were running behind. An hour. Rude employees. Horrible experience! Will not being back.
Poor service, waited an hour despite reservation at 7:30pm. Sewage water leaked out of the bathroom and flooded the floor. The smell ended dinner immediately and we left. Was charged full amount with no apologies.
We visited the old location on Frankford many many times and never had a complaint. We have visited the new location twice. The servers seem inexperienced and unfamiliar with menu items. I'm not sure if their staff changed when they moved locations but it seems that way. The quality of some of the sushi rolls seems to have gone down hill especially the California Roll. The scallops were gritty. The Lobster Roll seems different that before - Not bad just different. Overall, we enjoyed our experience but they definitely do not have the same standards as the previous location.
