This is truly one of the top notch places to dine in Northeast Ohio, and probably one of the best kept secrets. Meals and a world class chef you won't find anywhere else in this area. Honestly, it's almost hard to believe it's right here on State Rd on the Falls. Have been a big breakfast and lunch fan there since they opened. Dinner service now puts it over the top.

We dined here for dinner last summer and it was excellent. This experience was substandard in every way. Our server was way too animated for my liking. The other couple I was with commented on her presentation. But I was there for the food. It disappointed, too. I had the cauliflower soup. It arrived luke warm and wasn't very flavorful. My main course was the fish. It was over cooked and dry. My wife had the same dish and had the same feeling about her meal. The restaurant does not have a Liquor license so you can bring your own bottle of wine. My bill was the same as if I had alcohol included.

I'll try again but they don't have dinner figured out yet.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary by dining at the Blue Door. The staff was very welcoming and took the time to go over the menu choices in detail. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. We highly recommend it for anyone looking for a unique dining experience.

Our experience was over all good but fined dining of this type and price deserves fewer tables per server. There were only 2 servers for entire restaurant with 6-7 tables active for each which our server said is the norm. It took away from the experience and I could see others not getting attentive service. Will try again but if they don't resolve this I would not return thereafter.

Flavor! Texture! Presentation that is off the charts! The first restaurant I can honestly say we wanted to applaud the staff at the meals conclusion! The experience was truly amazing... The chef's skill, creativity, meticulous thought and execution was on full display from appetizer to dessert. The serving staff was well versed on the selections and truly enjoyed their craft. Well done!!! On a side note, we recommend the Chef's Choice for dinner, for it gave us the opportunity to try multiple dishes from the menu. Follow their Facebook page as well...

We love the Blue Door for breakfast and ventured out to try their dinner service. This is our new favorite restaurant. The menu changes each week based on what's in season and what fresh food the chef was able to get. The dishes were creative and well balanced. The portions a reasonable size so that we were able to eat a four course meal without feeling over full. The non-alcoholic cocktails were well designed and complemented the food. We had great service. It was very attentive and the meal was timed nicely. Overall, we highly recommend trying the dinner service.

If you want wine with dinner, they do not have a liquor license, but there's an Acme just down the street. The Blue Door provides the corkscrew and wine glasses.

Highly, highly recommend this cafe!!! This is a favorite spot of ours - THE absolute best food ever! They source locally when available and have flown in some of THE best seafood you'll ever have! They are very mindful of using quality ingredients - no chemicals in this food. They look for non GMO, organic and local. We cannot say enough about the food, the wait staff or the over all experience. The owner just wants to put out the best he can and makes sure everyone has a top notch experience in his establishment. We always take out of town guests here and they love it! It's a weekly stop for us! They have just started dinner service with some of the most exquisite, artful plates of food around. Oh and the bakery items are to die for!

What a refreshing culinary experience for northeast Ohio where everyone is trying to open something new. The focus on what you are looking for when you go out to eat - that is how my wife and I described our meal as we left The Blue Door Cafe. This was one of the best meals we have ever had in NE Ohio. Seeing their passion for food was inspiring, and everything we ate was divine. The staff knows what they are serving and it's not like they memorized a complex menu. Definitely have the tasting menu. The Blue Door Cafe combines amazing food with an unpretentious atmosphere and with a changing menu each and every week you can never go wrong.

Love this place. Definitely the very best breakfast in town. The new dinner service holds up to the expectations that the breakfast menu commands. A little slow on the service side of things but that's okay because we were there to spend time with friends anyway.

We went for dinner. They now serve dinner Th, F and Sat. We had a fantastic time and a wonderful tasting menu experience! the waiter was friendly, funny and knowledgeable. I am vegan but my other 2 guests are not. We all had wonderful dishes. The presentation was outstanding. Right now there is no liquor license so you bring your own, and there is no corkage fee! We loved that too! I have not eaten brunch there yet, but have heard it's amazing. I highly recommend dinner.

Our party of 3 had a fabulous evening dining on Chef Shultz"s wonderful creations. The duck with currents was the best I have had in my life, anywhere. The lobster appetizer was outstanding as well as the tastes of do you make that clery puree? It was delicious, as was everything! Our service was also fantastic with Greg and Tori. Greg also made it fun!
