   Their Sunday roast is amazing - choice of beef, chicken or rolled pork. Loads of tasty veg and delicious Yorkshire pudding. Friendly staff and dog friendly pub. Well worth a visit

   Great venue. Fantastic food. Service slow but pub was busy. Will definitely book again. Highly recommend!

   The food was very good. I have been going to the BlueBall for about 30 years. I thought the service at our dinner party was pretty poor to be honest. They seemed to be very short staffed. We had to wait about 30 mins from our arrival to even order drinks. The waiter kept forgetting things and getting the order wrong. It might be worth some training there to take orders correctly maybe even writing them down. Getting further drinks during the dinner seemed a little tricky too. There were only 3 tables occupied in the restaurant. The quality of the food was terrific but this was a 50th birthday celebration for a dear friend and it could certainly have been a better night out.

   Lovely lunch today. I had pan fried wild mushroom with blue cheese, toasted sourdough and my husband had a club sandwich with a pint of inches cider. Very quick and pleasant service. Thank you.

   Really good pub restaurant, interesting menu, nicely cooked and with excellent service. Only negative - unwanted music which adds nothing to the otherwise relaxed ambience.

   Great meal. Great value for money. We went to have a Sunday dinner today as we celebrate Easter. The food was amazing. I had roast pork. Soft tender and flavoursome 2 more in the party had beef. Plenty of if big pieces of topside cooked again to perfection. So much so I managed to get a slice of beef as well. Another member had the chicken. Plenty of it. Plenty of veg and Yorker. Asked for more gravy and we got a boat full. All in all a very good meal served by attentive staff. Will be back soon Happy Easter

   We enjoyed a family celebration of Easter. The choice on the menu was great and the quality and quantity of food very satisfying. Our table of 6 was quiet and sufficiently distant from other diners to make it a cosy and enjoyable experience.

    Lovely venue. A good selection on the menu, the young children were welcomed and treated politely. Service was attentive and we all enjoyed the experience. We have been several times previously and have already book to visit there again.
