Food was good, server was great, restaurant was nice and warm. The people at a table near us were very loud and the restaurant was fairly loud.

The crew at The Block are a solid team. This is one of the reasons The Block is such a success. I know going into there each time my expectations will either be met or be succeeded. The popular lyric from the Cheers theme song is, "Sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name, and they're always glad you came." The Block is the new Cheers. Awesome vibe, wonderful food, and amazing people. It's great seeing everyone. Keep up the great work and being amazing people! Thank you!

We enjoyed the brunch "Pawtio" experience with our dogs. The staff were all wonderful, and the food was great!

Last week trivia = 1st place This week trivia = last place Each time, I still walked out feeling like a winner! :-) Jordon & Lauren - Thank you so much for helping with our reservation in the dining area. Jenna - Sooooo great seeing you again! Mondays just weren't the same without you! Tony - Seriously, life of the party. We always have a blast and appreciate all you do for us. Andrea/Jess - Great to see you both and thanks for the conversations. Cooks - AMAZING food and we appreciate the modified nachos! Seriously, it's like a little family reunion every time we come. (without the problems!) I get the sense that everyone is treated like family. It's not just about the food. It's the atmosphere. Thank you for all you do and for being amazing people!

This was our first time to The Block. We found it to be fine but nothing special. Our server was the best part of the experience. He was very attentive and friendly and made sure things were right for us. I got the Black Bean Burger which was fine but not terribly flavorful. I ordered fries with it and they came within less than a minute of our order being taken and before everything else we ordered. That was very odd. I asked to have a fresh batch WITH my meal, which they accommodated straight away. I can see that this is a welcome neighborhood spot, but for us coming from N. Mpls, it wasn't really worth the drive.

I met up with dear, dear friends, we secured a booth (huge!), and we shared stories over whiskey, the onion ring tower, and chicken wings. Happy enough!

We were trivia champs Monday night, yet regardless of what place we finish, it always seems we leave as winners. :-) Luke - Congrats! You made it to the floor. We like our OGs there. We also like to see and get to know new folks. Awesome job taking care of us - staying on top of food, drinks, or asking for anything else we needed. Thank you to you for relaying the message and to the cooks for making our "modified nachos". (Only meat and cheese on one half, everything on the other half) Blue Fig Burger - This burger is amazing. I eat little throughout the day so I can just destroy and enjoy that burger. Amazing job cooks! As for all the OGs there - great to see you all again! Thank you everyone for providing us an awesome experience. Keep up the great work and keep being amazing people!

I would recommend the Block. Our daughter and son in law are vegans so everyone in our family has good choices. We sat on the patio, loved it but it can get a bit noisy. We might try the dining room next time, but for sure we will be back.

LOVED being able to bring my dog on the patio! We were here in the winter and the patio was super warm, felt like we were eating inside the restaurant. Our server was just okay, I don’t think she smiled the entire time we were there. My 3 year old was entertained by all the dogs :) Food and drinks were great! They even had a great happy hour on a Friday till 6pm! Will definitely return!

Elke!!! We had such a blast talking with you Monday night. Thanks for coming out and hanging with us. We are saddened to hear you are leaving us, and excited for your new adventure. We have no doubt you are going to slay it wherever you go. Everyone at the Block is/was lucky to have you. Hopefully Crave is smart, hires you, and sees how lucky they are to have you! If they don't, we will boycott Crave in honor of you! (Us small town folks gotta stick together!!) Okay, we may not boycott Crave. The truth is, if they don't hire you, it's their loss. You are a joy, delight, talented, and an amazing person. Rich and Ellie (the hosts) came dressed us Captain Hook and Tinkerbell. I was going wear that same costume, but thankfully I didn't. How awkward if we had two Tinkerbells?!? :-) I loved the costumes. Fragile Byron Buxton and our very own flight attendant - great work! (Thank you for showing where the exits and bathroom are located!) Tony - As always, hilarious, attentive, social, respectful, helpful, mindful, and hilarious. (Yes, I purposefully said hilarious twice!) You're a hoot and we love it. I love the new mocktails - delicious. I want to try the other new items on the Fall menu, but I can't stop ordering that Blue Fig burger. (without onions and arugula) I destroy that thing immediately. 1 - I am usually very hungry. 2 - It's so damn good. We will be back next week with the other 1/2 of Team Ramrod. (Troy and Jenni) Actually, I just remembered this. I play Wordscapes on my phone and the word "ramrod" actually showed up as a word. I didn't even know it was a real word! I just thought it was a line from the movie Super Troopers! Sorry, I digress. Alright ya'll, it looks like I'm at 1743/2000 characters, so I am being forced to wrap this up. :-) As always, thank you to everyone for the great job you do and more importantly, for being amazing people.

We had a great time. Excellent service as usual. They accommodated 5, when our reservation was 4 - with a smile! Our server was personable, knowledgeable and attentive. Food is always reliably good, really good! It’s been a go-to place for us since opening! Also, excellent rotation of local brews!

Rainy Thursday night at 515-715 was incredibly busy! Felt like a Saturday night. Must do reservations! If you have a wheelchair guest, make sure to CALL the location so they know. Very slow service! Celebrated a family bday and it took 20 minutes to bring out the dessert after dinner- even after the waiter checked on us & presented the bill!! Unbelievable! Great opportunity for a service recovery that was lost on the waiter. The food was good enough. Key Lime pie was awesome. Plan to park on the road & Know that the inside dining room is so loud on a busy night that a conversation with others may be hard to attain.

I always love going to The Block. Their happy hour menu is great and we had excellent service. It is very loud, however, so if you want to have a conversation with a group of friends and not sitting directly across or next to them, maybe choose another place. I prefer to go there for brunch or lunch when it is not as loud as the dinner crowd.
