   The meal was exceptional and the service was beyond measure. We will go back again and again.

   Been here a few times now and the service and food has always been impeccable. Recommended a few people to come here who have also agreed. Always highly recommend and enjoy this restaurant!

   We preordered the tomohawk steak in advance, the 1.6kg was sold because “chef forgot” and we got a 1.2kg which was 400g bone at least. All we got for apologies was a free Prosecco, not even a main or anything else. Entrees were overly priced. Duck salad had 4 small pieces of meat which wasn’t worth it. Everything was extremely salty for main, again tomohawk was mainly bone and the sauces were cold. Aircon also made our steak cold within 5 minutes. Host said “yeah aircon is cold because of during the day”, not sure why they don’t try and fix it…? Second time dining here and definitely won’t be back. Again, extremely disappointed we ordered the steak 4 days in advance and it was sold, felt very unimportant especially as members. We dined and left within an hour, waste of $340….. Won’t recommend.

   The service by the wait staff was warm, welcoming and very professional. Jason the Dining Director made us feel like old friends coming back for a visit. Dessert was sublime having had the Dark Chocolate Delice. Wines were beautifully paired. Mains were lovely but could’ve been a little more substantial considering the price. All in all it was fantastic and will definitely be back. Thanks

   We sat and ate and drank for hours. The staff were brilliant. Lovely, relaxed vibe in a spacious venue with a great city view.

   This was our first visit to Blacksmith Bar and Grill. The view from the window table was great especially at sunset and the restaurant has a good atmosphere. The staff were very attentive and welcoming. They were happy to answer any questions regarding the menu and most helpful in terms of explaining and recommending dishes. The side dishes were good and very tasty and enjoyed by all, especially the truffle mashed potatoes. The pork belly and steaks were cooked to perfection. The service provided was very good. Staff have a great way of communicating with their guests. Great dining experience.

   Very enjoyable evening started with drinks on the balcony before moving to the dining room. Steak was very nice and I loved the complimtary condiments available in addition to the sauce. The selection of house wines in the restaurant are absolutely great value for money and very good quality. Absolutely charming staff who are a credit to this establishment.

    We celebrated our Wedding anniversary there and they gave us a complimentary champagne to celebrate the night. The food was amazing and the steak was cooked to perfection and the staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for you for you. Will definitely come back when we visit Melbourne again
