The Black Grape - a new small plate restaurant located on Edinburgh's Royal Mile. Expect small plates, wine & good times in a stunning setting. This custom designed wine bar & restaurant is the ideal setting for intimate date night dining, drinks with friends or a quick snack as you people watch in the heart of the city. Our menu is a gastronomic tour de force with inspiration from around the globe. One thing unites all our dishes however - bold, punchy flavours and plates that are perfect for sharing. Great food with lovely interesting wines. Menu changes weekly. We supplemented the Mon- Thursday deal with extras but you certainly don't need to.

One of the best meals I’ve ever had. Loved ever dish, staff was friendly, and overall was well priced. Will definitely be dining again

What a fantastic experience upon arrival in Edinburgh! Murray, kacia, Neil, and Hugh made our simple night out memorable! And OH - the FOOD! Everything was wonderful….thank you so much!

We absolutely loved The Black Grape. The service was outstanding and the food was absolutely amazing. There wasn’t anything that was disappointing.

We had a lovely dinner at the Black Grape. Service was excellent and the ambience was really nice. Our favorite dishes were the whipped feta and the arancini -- absolutely delicious! They also had a pretty good wine selection. Overall, a lovely meal.

First time visit to The Black Grape and it won't be our last. Every part of the dining experience was really good. Friendly and knowledgeable staff that went out of their way to make this a great night, including finding a Primitivo from the old wine list (that had recently been changed). All of the food choices were full of flavour and the right portion size, leaving just enough room for dessert! A pleasurable time and great to know that independent eateries are thriving. Look forward to returning.

Nice quiet Sunday night, staff very attentive and friendly. Food absolutely delicious nice wine and cocktails. Would go back worth a visit.
