    Outstanding. Sensitive to food sensitivities--worked around my husband's allergies with spectacular results. Also a restaurant with a cause. Ask about their mission to provide healthy food to children and seniors! Can't wait to go back.

    Menu options & wine list were excellent. I boxed up much of my dinner so I could enjoy dessert at the restaurant. Staff was very friendly & attentive without being overbearing. Highly recommended.

    Service was great, one dish was a little bland and needed salt, but overall a great experience. They even comped my drink when I forgot I might be pregnant. ☺️ The desserts were delicious!!

    The dining room was very warm to the point of being in comfortable! Need to turn on and down the AC before customers arrive! The bottled beer was not as cold as it should have been on a hot day. Also the glass for the beer was not chilled/frosted. Food (Salmon & Blackened Snapper) was excellent along with the service from our waitress. With a little extra effort the experience would have been outstanding!! We will be back but would like to see some changes in the atmosphere. Also, need to cut the weeds around the parking lot if you really want to be a high class/end restaurant. Ford is one of the BEST chefs in the area! Work on improving and we and many friends will become frequent diners!!!

    Everything was excellent except our server, who completely forgot to put in our drink order. We got our food before the drinks! The server’s attentiveness was also lacking (we ran out of water) despite the place not being busy. A different server and this would be five stars.

    The food and service was excellent as always. Dining room was warm and moderately noisy but the rest of the experience more than offsets this.

    We had a group of 8 and we all thought our food choices were wonderful. Might want to service some type of bread to go with the meal and the servers might want to suggest the side salads to the customers. I had the salmon and it was fantastic. Thanks and I look forward to our next visit. Fred Catcott

    We had a reservation for 5:00 so it wasn't busy, which was cool because the owners were able to show us around and give us the back story. Very cool place! The staff was extremely accommodating and pleasant. The menu was diverse and different from your typical restaurant fare. We enjoyed drinks, dinner, and dessert immensely. Definitely worth checking out.

    The blackened red snapper (although not authentically blackened) was good. The rice was not. If it was meant to be a risotto, it was still under seasoned. Whatever the brown meat was, it was not distinguishable. There was definitely pepper in the rice. The swordfish was quite bland as were the brown potatoes, which had no flavor except for the salt they were boiled in. The tomato and green bean salad was awful (tomatoes were sour/beans crunchy). The marscapone cake was EXCELLENT! One glaring omission in an "upscale" eating establishment was the lack of bread (and maybe tables that were not plastic). Sybil's in St. James, for this rural area, does it right!

    Six of us enjoyed a lovely time and wonderful food at The Bistro. We were warmly greeted by Ford and Cathy. Steak, Cajun pasta, Poblano chicken quesadillas! And dessert too! Treat yourself!!

    The dinner was good as we have ever had. The carne ascada was delicious and the double cut pork chop was exceptional. You will not find a better gourmet value anywhere.

    Our overall experience was great. The service was exceptional, that being said, it was a little warm in there. Maybe someone can come in before working hours and pump that AC up for the customers. We had steaks and fries, little bit on the pricey end, all this to say, great place to go with excellent food. Would definitely recommend.

    Everything we had there was amazing! The crab and shrimp cornbread, carne asada and the pork chop. Soooo delicious! Great atmosphere for date night. Great service. We will definitely be back.

    Food was great! Atmosphere was a bit rough, from the table you could see spray foam insulation protruding from the walls. Also, the rock siding was falling off the exterior in several places. The exterior doors did not have closers on them so they would either fly open and stay open before a wait staff would shut them or they would open up behind customers entering. There was not any salt or pepper on the tables and was not offered by wait staff.

    The food here is exceptional. Creativity to the max. The prices are less than any high end restaurant in our area. What they do as a non-profit for our community is icing on the cake.

    We have visited the Bistro several times since their opening and we have never been disappointed. Their menu is constantly changing and it is so neat to have the opportunity to experience different food presentations. The Lebanon area is fortunate to have the Bistro.

    Upscale dining in a small town. Food was delicious, service was outstanding. Love the mission, all proceeds go to fund the Lebanon Community Farm that provides quality fresh produce to people in need.

    Amazing experience! We loved the atmosphere, loved the food and felt so welcome by the greeters! Highly recommend the blackened snapper! And the flourless chocolate cake! It was very welcoming and elegant in every part of the building including the bathroom!

    This was a special occasion. My best friend proposed to his girlfriend. The atmosphere, service and food were all phenomenal. We could not be happier with how everything turned out. The happy couple will never forget this night.

    The quality of the service and food was outstanding. High marks for the concept of providing upscale dining as a means to support a sustainable farm to table community food Bank. The atmosphere is open and comfortable. I would highly recommend The Bistro.
