First of all, the lady at the front claims they are no longer on Open Table so this review likely goes nowhere. If anyone does happen to read this, STOP. Do not wasted your time at this place. Why? Because the cook (he/she is not a chef) is definitely NOT wasting his time making your meal. Not a thought put into the food here. Awful. The pizza was worse than a gluten free dairy free reheated frozen pizza. How do you accomplish that? Seriously. Horrible.
Great location for family dining!!
We love going to the Waikoloa Luxury Theatre matinee and then having an early dinner.
A great spot to enjoy a casual dinner before or after a movie. Check at the bar to get a drink or bottle of wine to enjoy with your movie.
Diverse food and drink menu. Something for everyone. Dine at table before movie or on movie lounge chair tray during movie.
The menu is very diverse and loaded with options. The Chicken Salad Croissant and pizzas are very good.
The only reason I didn't give it five stars was they they ran out of "printing paper," in the kitchen and lost our order. After waiting for quite a while, my husband asked about it. That's when the waiter realized that the kitchen didn't have our order. But I don't blame the waiter, I blame the kitchen staff. Once we got our food, it was delicious, the outdoorish environment was quite nice, and the prices were good. Finally there's a restaurant that's not too expensive here on the BI. We will be back.
Our food took 1 hour or more to arrive, our waiter did not visit the table often enough to ensure drinks were filled. I had to ask how much longer till our food would be ready. At this point we have waited 45 minutes for our appetizer to arrive.
I had also counted the seated tables as being 7 only. Not sure why put food took so long. I would not return for another meal.
The Bistro is a fantastic place to have a wonderful casual meal before or after a movie. The menu offers something for everyone: salads, pizzas, burgers, tacos, fish and chips, sandwiches, wraps,... The food is always excellent and the service is outstanding. Additionally, on weekend nights the island's best blues guitarists performs. The Bistro also includes a beautiful full-service sit-down bar with large TVs for sports viewing.
Atmosphere was fine for an afternoon lunch.
Burger was good. Korean pizza was different but good. Would order both again.
Caesar salad didn't have much "punch".
Pricing was reasonable.
Great service, food, & live music. Waikoloa’s hidden little gem. Not just a movie theater!
I enjoyed my food at this restaurant. There was a wide selection and many options.
Excellent as always!
We told our waiter that we wanted our apps first and that we were in no hurry for dinner. Both came simultaneously much to our chagrin. What could have been a nice leisurely dinner turned into a rushed affair. Very disappointed.
We had an 11:30 reservation for lunch. We were seated very quickly in a very nice spot. Table was clean glasses were clean always nice. Our server, James, was very personable and polite. Very knowledgeable about the menu. We chose to get things that we would not make at home. I had the po- boy shrimp sandwich with potato/mac salad. My friend had the French dip with extra crispy french fries. Everything was outstanding. The sandwich bread was excellent. The food looked just like the picture!
We were seated immediately. The service was excellent. The food was excellent. The only downside was they were out of two of the items we had picked off the on line menu.
We have eaten here before Covid and today the food was terrible!
The avocado turkey club sandwich literally had 2 pieces of processed turkey on it
The Cesar chicken wrap barely had any chicken
Would not be on the list to go back to again
Fish tacos are amazing!
Food came out slowly and was wrong. Not to mention was advertised as beef bulgogi and we were served ground beef on a pizza.
Really good food. The drinks were okay but they have a lot of options available. Definitely would eat here again. The service was amazing. I ordered the French Dip and it was cooked to perfection. A nice toasted bun, crispy friend onions and the meat was just perfect.
Food was good but the cocktails were watered done-no flavor
We love the entertainment while dining. The service has always been excellent!
Over priced for basic and bland food
Decent meal - music was a bit too loud.
Had the French Dip since that’s one of my favorites, but somehow it didn’t taste like it should. The meat was different. A bit disappointed with that. The cookie sundae was also not like the way I’ve had it before many times. Usually, the cookie is warm, like it just came out of the oven, but this time it was cold and hard.
Casual, moderately priced eatery. Food is good, nothing extraordinary, but food does seem to take a while to get to the table. Good entertainment and comfortable, spacious & covered outdoor seating.
Great food and drink. Very clean and always tasty
We always enjoy our meals at the Bistro at the Waikoloa Theater. The food and service are always great, and the outdoor but covered seating is comfortable!
Nice dining experience with a wide variety of menu options. Perfect for our family of 4.
Great server.....”Angel” is her name. Tends to all our needs and more! Food was good. Dessert of the Month was outstanding! Wish they had that as a regular on the menu.
We live in Waikoloa...this is our “go to” place! The food is always great, our regular server is wonderful and we seem to be lucky enough to sit in her area often...so friendly! We definitely take in a movie when the time is right.
We usually order food and eat during the movie, but decided to eat early and then go to the movie and take our dessert in with us. Food was great, server was very attentive. We had a wonderful evening. I highly recommend
Very good food and service - the semi outdoor venue is perfect for these times!
Excellent food and efficient and friendly staff!
Best place ever
Our family enjoyed a wonderful dinner at The Bistro at Waikoloa Luxury Cinemas. We felt very safe dining during the COVID-19 pandemic as all staff and patrons wore masks unless seated for dining. The ambience was perfect, and we couldn’t have asked for a better dining experience. Our waitress was kind and attentive. We enjoyed our usual favorite appetizers, and tried some new main dishes as well. So thankful for a warm, inviting, and comfortable environment. Thank you.
This is our favorite weekly restaurant. The variety of food on the menu has something for everyone. It is perfect for just the two of us or a large family or friends. Friendly staff and happy people. Thank you for being open for us and maintaining good safety protocols to protect us. We will be back.
Try the speciality tacos. They are fabulous!! Movie theatre is great.
We always enjoy our meal at the Waikoloa Luxury Theater Bistro restaurant! Good variety of food choices, always very good and great staff!
