The Bistro at LBV, located on a blufftop overlooking the Missouri River, is the perfect place to turn your outing into an occasion. Enjoy classic comfort food and spectacular views of Mother Nature’s finest work, no matter the season.

Our restaurant space area offers a casual environment and a delicious menu for brunch, lunch, and dinner. Our Chef prepares a variety of house-made products including breads, smoked meats, and other seasonal items. Join us for your next meal; make a reservation now!

We do ask that parties larger than six not separate checks, please. 20% gratuity is applied to parties of six or more. Bakery made desserts can be brought in for celebrations such as birthdays, but no homemade desserts are allowed and there is a $10 fee.

The rainbow trout was outstanding! Our server Lauren was delightful and the view from the patio was just beautiful! We had a fantastic time celebrating our Mizzou grad.

We decided to go here for my daughter's graduation from Mizzou. Knowing it would be difficult to find reservations for that weekend, we placed to reservations many weeks in advance. My 83 year old mother in law who uses a cane and neice let us know the week of that they were now able to come into town for the graduation as well. I called to see if we could add 2 chairs to our reservation and a day later was called back and told they were we booked and no possible way. So we decided to have my mother in law take my son's place and he and my niece ended up going to Wendy's fast food by themselves for dinner. When we were at the restaurant, it was a bit hot inside. Our table had plenty of room for 2 extra chairs. The place did start filling up but there were multiple tables that never had anyone sitting at them the entire time we were there. It was difficult seeing those empty chairs that could have been filled with my family members. When we first arrived, it took 20 minutes before our waiter came to our table to take our drink order. They then tried to give our appetizers to the table next to us. The food was good although a bit pricey. I did enjoy my Bistro Mary drink. Overall I was quite disappointed in the accommodations (Or rather, the lack there of) especially for the amount of money we spent and the fact we were all from out of town. Would recommend for the outside ambiance

Beautiful venue for a graduation meal. Mizzou wine was a bonus! Staff was very attentive and noted every detail. Lots of photo opps for celebration pictures. We'll be back!

Took fifteen minutes for the server to come by after we’d been seated, then another ten for her to return with drinks. From the time we ordered to the time we received our food it took fifty minutes! And when it did arrive my order was wrong, but it couldn’t be corrected because the server never again checked in with us until we had to flag her down for the check.

Lovely setting, Missouri wine is getting better but not great. Reds were better than whites. Had a tasting flight of two wires and two reds. Good way to sample. Menu had good variety and style. Will definitely return.

Our meal was delicious, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere comfortable. It was a busy evening, they had a wedding and there were prom attendees which made it loud, but we could still have a conversation. Lovely place to dine.

Not the level of dining that a location like this warrants. The menu is sparse and food is marginal. The server was the best part of the experience, other than the view. This restaurant has so much potential but just can’t seem to get beyond very mediocre.

You can't beat the view from Bistro. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Took a while to get drinks and food, but don't think it was the waitstaff's fault. Drinks and food were wonderful! Had Bagel & Lox and Smashburgers.

This is my husband's and my 2nd time at The Bistro and it gets an A++++++++++++. The food was delicious, we were offered a taste of wine & ended up purchasing a glass as well as a bottle to take home, the scenery was lovely and our waiter, Chaz (Charles) couldn't have been more professional in all areas. We will be back. Very pleased!

My husband and I had dinner after riding on the Katy Trail. The food was so good! Our server, Grant, was very knowledgeable about the menu and had wonderful recommendations for drinks and dinner. The sunset was beautiful from our table. We will be back.

The menu was limited for the time, we made it there around noon. What we ordered was exquisite, the cocktail novel and flavorful. The wines were very good. The waitress took good care of us. What left us wanting more was the limited brunch menu that for the time we got there left us expecting heftier meal options.

Everything about the Bistro is amazing, the wine, drinks, and food but the noise level can be overwhelming. Despite the noise, I highly recommend the Bistro and will visit every time I'm in town.

Excellent waiter-Jacob. Great wine—Viogner (Sp.?) Good bread service. Dreadful meals—Salmon, Jasmine rice, veggies. Lukewarm and tasteless. Beef Stroganoff —The meat was incredibly tough. Seasoning was just not good.
