Booked weeks ago for a spot on the patio but wasn’t aware that outside seating could mean patio or under the tents. When asked to be seated on the actual patio was told not possible because it was booked for the entire evening. After eating and watching the same 4 or 5 tables remain open on the patio during our 5-7pm time under the tents it seems the hostess was just unwilling to accommodate us. Not a great experience but we love LaBelle. Everyone else was fantastic as usual. Will call and be more specific in the future.
I have been to La Belle several times and this is the first time that I had a bad experience. My husband and I were there for our wedding anniversary dinner. We were seated on the patio, but even with the umbrellas up our table was in the sun. We asked if it was possible to sit under the tent, where it looked like there were lots of open tables available and it was nice and shady. We were told no and then watched two other tables near us get seated under the tent after they asked. Our reservation was at 4:45 and the restaurant closes at 5 so we were one of the last tables to arrive and no one was coming in after us. Then our server wasn’t very attentive. We ate most of our entrees with no water and no drinks. We had to flag down another server and ask for our drinks. Very disappointing. The food and drinks were excellent as always, but the service we receiver was pretty bad. I guess we will think twice about coming back to La Belle for a special dinner again.
The service was extremely slow. We went on Father’s Day and there were only 4 other tables occupied so not sure why it was so slow. Outdoor seating is under a tent with a lot of road noise. Probably won’t be back for dinner again.
Always a pleasant experience. Everyone is always friendly and accommodating. I think food is overpriced.
Took a group of six to a birthday dinner for my partner. Ate on the deck on a perfect summer night. Great service. Great timing. There was a big wedding being hosted that night and it had not influence on the dining area. What a great night.
LaBelle Bistro is a lovely place to enjoy delicious food under the tent.
Four of us had a dinner there the other night. A small reisling was first brought to the table as a complimentary welcome drink. Our dinners were Salad Nicoise with Salmon, swordfish, duck breast and zaatar crusted salmon. Everything was delicious, except salad Nicoise was missing the dressing. As a dessert we had the rhubarb and blackberry dessert, which was outstanding, finished with flourless chocolate cake. A nice feature was a small complementary chocolate cup with raspberry liquor to end the dinner.
I highly recommend this place for any formal or casual gathering.
The Bistro at LaBelle Winery was delicious as it always is. Service was great and we enjoyed our lunch thoroughly.
Very nice setting.
Beautiful outdoor setting. Good service. Food was average and overpriced for what you got. Wine was excellent. Cheesecake dry and crumbly.
A disappointing visit to a restaurant I love. The service under the tent on a Wednesday eve was very slow- hard to get attention out there. We waited a long time between visits. I think the asian pork belly buns were underwhelming and could have used more crunchy texture and acid with a pickled veg or similar. The pork belly was overcooked. My brined chicken with panzanella salad was also disappointing. The chicken was a little dryer than it should have been. The panzanella tuscan bread was less bread-like and more cruton-like than I expected. I wanted to see chunks of grilled crusty bread soaking up yummy EVOO. My companion's grilled veg salad looked un-appealing. On the other hand, my waitress was delightful and the tent setup is heaven. Corn hole too!
Great food and service. Beautiful premises
Enjoyed our evening very much. Lisa was great. Food was spot on. Nice venue for out-of-town company.
wonderful lunch. Took my parent who are in their 80's. Staff very helpful
We had a great time and can't wait to get back. The staff was awesome
This was our third dining experience since full vaccination and we were celebrating my son's high school graduation. We sat on the patio which was fine but not necessarily our first choice but nothing else was available. We had cocktails had the poutine for a starter. Among the four of us, we had the brine chicken, five spice duck breast and the swordfish. All of it was excellent, with the cold soba noodles with the duck and the corn/lobster succotash notably above anything else. The service was amazing (our waiter's name was Spencer) and when a sudden rain sprinkle occurred, we were checked on and were offered a table inside. The rain had already stopped so we stayed. The ambiance was nice, but the place had one of the better "people watching" experiences with a wedding occurring that evening. This was the first time we have dined at the winery rather than getting take-out and we will return soon and often.
Our server was amazing and very friendly and the food was very good. She answered all our questions
There needs to be music under the tent. It looked like someone started it but it wasn't playing for the majority of our visit.
There was an event going on along with dinner reservations and there was no delays on drinks and meals. Waitress was very attentive. I am going back for brunch soon!
Fabulous food and wine. Delightful employees who really know how to make you feel special. Beautiful setting.
Staff was very accommodating with food prep preferences
We were visiting for the first time. The winery was very busy with a wedding on the lawn, what looked like a room full of people having a business meeting over lunch and then just an array of diners inside and outside; wine tasting was seen under a tent with outside dining at umbrellaed tables. The facility is really pretty and we suspect very photogenic. We ordered the BLT and the shaved ribeye sandwiches. Their breads are delicious and so are their french fries. One suggestion on these hot summer days, please serve your ice tea in glasses larger than the skinny ones that were being used. There was no offer to bring another or refresh what I had, and we all know the food cost on ice tea is pennies. Be prepared for a very loud experience if you are dining inside and a bridal party gathers on the ground level of the building! Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The folks who work there could not have been nicer or more friendly.
Wonderful dining for lunch under the tent. Great food, staff, service and of course wine.
Ryan and his co-server were excellent. Did not rush us. We started with the cheese and meat charcuterie and cocktails followed by the most flavorful burger I’ve had in awhile
I had a wonderful lunch under the tent overlooking the vineyard. Very impressive service and delicious food, from the charcuterie board to fig jam blue cheese flatbread to flourless chocolate cake. I also enjoyed my white wine flight. Everyone in my party enjoyed themselves. After lunch, we stopped inside to check out the wine shop and tasting bar. Modern rustic decor with fun vibe. Beautifully landscaping adds to the ambiance
Will definitely return!
incredible! We had a lovely time and got to enjoy our Tempest!
Awesome as always!
We enjoyed celebrating our anniversary there! It was all excellent!
We had a wonderful lunch! Charcuterie Board and split a chicken wrap with plenty of delicious fries! Derrick was excellent! He explained differences in their wines, made suggestions and let us taste a few when we couldn't decide! We never felt rushed, were able to sit and relax, a great experience!
Our first time and was going for dinner. Unfortunately it took 10 mjns to have someone come to our table, 15 more to get a drink and then the time we were asked if we wanted to order it was 35 mins from when we sat. So we respectfully declined and went elsewhere as we would have been there for 2 hours just to have a meal. It didn’t seem that busy so I’m unsure if that’s just the normal or what. For the price they charge you would expect great service.
Always a pleasure at LaBelle! Love the patio and the fact that my little cockapoo is always welcome outside.
Met up with one of my best friends for brunch. We hadn’t seen each other in over a year. Food and wine were delicious as were the delicious samples! Best part was that our waitress was so patient as we stayed there for over 3 hours enjoying each other’s company in a beautiful setting! It has become our go to place when I come from California to visit! A+!
Exceptional! Went to dinner with friends and loved every minute of it. The food was delicious!
Such a pleasant experience. Delicious wine, beautiful grounds & staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. 10/10 would recommend
Tony and Spence were incredible! We loved trying the small cup of wine. I don’t normally order hummus and salad out, but I’m already craving both from here! EVERYTHING was beyond perfect!!
We waited at our seat outdoors for 20-25 mins before we were even addressed or given water. I had to yell out to a server helping another table that was seated after us to get someone to pay attention to us. We were on a time crunch and our waiter was seldom seen.
Food is outstanding. So many great looking things on the menu that I will be going back soon to try more of them.
We had an amazing experience! Our server, Lisa was excellent, the ambiance was amazing and the food was incredible!
It was our first visit to LaBelle Winery and we loved our time there.
Our wine connoisseur was friendly and knowledgeable and our host and waitress were top notch!
We even met Ceasar and he gave us his undivided attention.
We will be back for a tour and we look forward to visiting the winery in Derry sometime soon.
Thank you all very much. From beginning to end it was a great experience!
Wonderful Mother’s Day brunch. The food selection was amazing and service great.
