An hour drive to be disappointed. This place is gorgeous and checks all the boxes to destroy all other Georgia wineries in terms of experience. My wife and each ordered a panini at the Bistro. A panini is a sandwich that is pressed and served warm. Neither of which were pressed or warm. Simply a sandwich on focaccia bread. It took an hour to get said sandwiches and we had to keep asking as others around us received their food. 18% gratuity added automatically, which is sad…feeds zero accountability from staff. We were offered a discount for the poor service and cold food, but declined and paid our bill in full as that’s how we roll. I’m low maintenance and not a complainer…so when I get upset, something is way wrong…hope you you get your stuff together…

Worst dining experience that left me in tears. Now I'm realizing that it was the co-owner, Cydney Kritzer, who was so awful! We had a group of 12 who were meeting there for a pre-wedding lunch. This group was to include the mother of the bride (my sister), the bride's grandparents, and other cousins and relatives coming from multiple states. It was supposed to be a relaxing way to start our day while the bride and bridesmaids got ready. On open table you can only make a res for 8 people. So we made one for 8 people and one for 4 people, hoping we could at least be near each other. Then just 2 weeks before the wedding, the mother of the bride had a major organ transplant surgery. She was trying to get healthy enough to at least get out of the hospital for one day and make it to the wedding. As of that morning, she was still in the hospital. So obviously she couldn't make it and my parents stayed with her. We checked in and let them know we would only have 9 people because 3 couldn't make it. She was livid. She was aggressively gathering menus in a huff and fussing at my husband for not letting her know. She at that time was unaware of what we were going through but her reaction was over the top ridiculous. She took us to our table, complaining the entire way there to my son who didn't understand what the heck was happening. She then told us that we had 2 tables for 4 instead of a table for 8/9. The tables were next to each other but she absolutely refused to let us put them together?! Family came in from multiple states and now we can’t sit together even though we had a reservation?! I tried to explain our situation but she wasn’t listening or didn’t care. I told her if it was that much trouble, we could leave. She snapped back “I’m seating you, aren’t I?” I was already emotional about my sister missing her daughter’s wedding. This sent me over the edge and I ended up crying in the bathroom. It totally ruined our morning on an already emotional day.

This is a great place for a casual patio dining experience and a great way to spend an afternoon. Good food used mostly as a way to get you to try the wines. If you are into wines, I think it is probably good, but I'm not much of a wine enthusiast. Nevertheless, you don't have to be to enjoy it. Limited menu, but what they have is good. We enjoyed it enough to have been twice and we are going to go again. The wines are offered by the glass, bottle, or flight.

Just spent an amazing day at Frogtown! The food was exceptional, the service was outstanding, and the wine was world class! With the citizen discount, not sure I could ever imagine going to an overpriced restaurant with crazy marked up wine when I can travel 1 hour north (instead of south) with no traffic and experience Frogtown! A truly awesome experience. — with Carol Rayner Holley and Rhonda Rayner Kupka.

met a friend here for a pre-birthday lunch out on the deck. We had a great table with a nice view, at first the service was a little bit slow but after that our waitress was wonderful. The Panini was delicious as usual!

Lunch date with my husband, have been to Frogtown Cellars a few times before. The food is great and I absolutely love eating on their deck and looking at the beautiful view of the vineyard. It is definitely a great place for lunch date with spouses, or food out with friends to relax and unwind etc. would definitely recommend:

Took my mom for her birthday. She loved it. Generous pours and lots of different wines they all make themselves either. Very lovely views. Exceeded expectations.
