   I had a wonderful time at The Bistro. The food was delicious and the wait staff provided excellent service. I will definitely go back, but you must place your reservation early because they book quickly.

   We have been a member for over 15 years and this was our first horrible experience. We arrived for our reservation only to be told over 75% of the menus items were sold out. Not sure how the Bistro would not be able to plan for having enough food as they require reservations.

    Sunday brunch menu need to change!! It’s too limited and not alot of good decent choices. Not to mention a couple of the things that we wanted y’all had run out of it which made our food selection even more limited. Our bottle of wine was about our only enjoyable moment. We felt we had no choice but to stay since we drove from out of town. Would not recommend anyone to come on a Sunday until more menu options are available.

    We enjoyed our lunch at The Bistro--our charcuterie plate was fantastic; our entrees were very enjoyable, and our drinks were great! The only downside was the noise level--it doesn't have anything to muffle the sound in that cavernous room.

    The Bistro at Childress Vineyard is a great place to dine and take some time to relax. I suggest the char grilled petite filet of beef with asparagus and mashed potato. We also chose Muscadine (red) wine. Wow!

    Food was very good. Got seated right away. Had to wait for cappuccino machine to be turned on and go thru its cycle so took 15 min to get it but it was explained to us very kindly. Great service. The only down side was the noise factor.

    Love this for relaxing with friends. The food is great however the “Bistro “ environment lacks in several levels. You can not hear people next to you . The decor minds more of tables in a garage than pricing restaurant.

    The service and food quality don’t align with the expectations of the setting. Once the order was finally taken by the server, the food took a long time to arrive and was served at a mildly warm temperature. The flower was a nice touch towards presentation. The server was friendly but a little more attentiveness would have been appreciated. The salmon was on the dry side; collards were great. Our dessert (brownie & ice cream) also took a long time to be served ;was slightly warm.

    The menu is very limited. The food was just ok. I thought the fish was too dry. Prices make no sense. See one items are too high in comparison to other one and the same menu. Ex: the mahi entree was $23 and a salad with mahi in it was the same price. I loved the bistro when it was in the main building. Menu and ambiance were great. Whereas now, it feels like a warehouse.     We went to the Easter Brunch at Childress. The Childress waitstaff was very accommodating to our l=party of 10. The food and wine were both excellent. The children in our party enjoyed the Easter Bunny. The children's menu was appropriate for the children in our party, ages 2 to 7.

    Jina, our server was exceptional. She was great with our three-year-old and made our Easter Brunch a fun morning, even with all the rain. The lemon pound cake french toast was delicious, and our Funny Bunny mimosas were cute. Prime rib was also excellent. Will be back on a sunny warm day.

    The food was a step up from bar food. I ordered turkey soup but there was not single piece of turkey in my soup. My flatbread was very greasy. My husband's chicken wrap was dry. Overall, the food was disappointing, and our waitress was not very friendly. Definitely overrated. Sorry Childress, your wine selection is great, but you have to be on par with your bistro.

    This is our favorite restaurant so we are regulars. Excellent food and nice to have good, reasonably priced wine with lunch. Tyler gave outstanding service (as usual!).
