   Our waiter was awesome! Great food - we had the bison tartare, crab dip, scallops, broccoli, rigatoni a la bolognese and the duck - all perfectly seasoned. And we also had a great local wine. I do recommend it!

   A restaurant with good ambience and a great menu, with locally sourced food at that, is hard to beat. The staff were awesome, making the experience too knotch.

   Guess our expectations were too high after browsing past reviews. Service was good but food was all just a bit off the mark. Cucumber salad was over dressed and over spiced which definitely maksed the 'local' veg. Cod was was tasty and well put together as a dish. Steak was meh but eggplant puree was nice . However the duck was the dish which missed the mark; the breast was undercooked in parts and tough, the confit was overcharred and as such parts more like jerky. The crispy rice was more like left out rice crispies and did not go at all. Overall left just ok and underwhelmed compared to other meals this weekend.

   The food, drinks, wine and service were excellent! We come here once a year during our vacation and it is now a tradition! The whole family enjoys this special night out and the whole experience has been amazing with fantastic food!

   Family vacation is for being together and experiencing new things together. The excellent food was delivered by friendly and knowledgeable staff. We particularly loved the puréed eggplant with the Alberta steak. But the noise level was so high that the wait staffer had to repeat the menu particulars on both sides of the table. And family conversation was almost impossible. I also kept watching for a major accident because the wait staff were all heavy burdened by overfull trays in a very crowded room with little room to navigate.

    Had a wonderful meal at Bison last night. We had the $39 spring fling deal and it was amazing value. Between the 5 of us we pretty much had everything on the menu and it was all superb. We also really enjoyed the wine pairings. The restaurant is beautiful with panoramic views. Highly recommend.
