Great place, a lot of English speaking Folks and the 'Background noise' is therefore especially pleasant to my ears being a Chicago native. My favorite place in the neighborhood and always bring my out of town guests here.

As always: Awesome burgers, nice choice of drinks, great music, comfortable ambience - everytime I visit Berlin (or Hamburg) I just have to visit The Bird.

The food is good, but far away from outstanding, though there is nothing to complain about the meat. That part is perfect. Just the B-notes that could use improving. Portions are big, though. You'll hardly leave hungry. Have been there for the second time - and for the second time the service did forget an order and not deliver it. At least it didn't show up on the bill. But given that we were there just after opening, when it was still quite calm, it's rather disappointing. Reserve a table upfront - the Bird is even crowded on weekdays. Not perfect, but a perfect place to feel at home at.

We found this disappointing. It was quite stodgy food, very greasy and over priced for what it was. We also found the ambience to be very bland.
