The Bird Express is a an Authentic American BBQ Restaurant, serving undoubtedly Berlin"s best BBQ and Burgers as well as some other stuff.
Sauces, dressings, everything is made fresh daily from scratch.
If you arrive between 5-7pm, you should take advantage of our Angry Hour Special, buy one beer get one free, buy one get one house shot and Napalm wings for 25 cents! You must be sitting at the bar in order to get this hook up though.

The deep fried machine didn’t work which I found out only after all of us arrived. Waited 50 min!!! For the food and when we asked why they were not pleasant! Saying that they had a big table in parallel.

Booked a table, turned up on time. Waiter told us our table wasn’t ready and to have a drink at the bar. It took 15 minutes to get served; after this, we realised some walk-in customers had taken our table. The same waiter then went and took their food order while we were still sat at the bar, despite having booked. Clearly he had forgotten about us altogether. We tried to get his attention several times - when he eventually noticed us, we just asked to pay for the drinks and go (we had been there 40 minutes by this point). Even as we were waiting to pay, the waiter went and did shots with other staff. And when he finally took our money and gave us our change, he didn’t even apologise. The atmosphere in Bird Steakhouse was good, and the food looked nice (no idea how it tasted), but sadly one ignorant waiter completely ruined the night for us. There are so many great restaurants in Berlin - you’d be better off finding somewhere that respects its customers.

It was touted as excellent BBQ. But it really wasn't. Wait staff was very attentive. Most everything else was subpar, sadly to say.

We wanted to have a decent steak and I absolutely love the bird burgers. Best in town. But I was very disappointed about the Bird Steakhouse. The ambiente was very poor, It was loud, cold, the service was very "basic" (to a certain extend I would call it unfriendly). We paid a lot of money and the food was worth it but everything around it was not. It was just a bird regular. It's good enough if you have a fantastic burger and don't care for the rest.

Vorab das schlechte: Drinnen war es leider sehr kalt, obwohl die Heizung lief. Der Laden war nicht ganz voll (Reservierung über Opentable sehr sinnvoll) und wir mussten 40 Minuten auf das Essen warten. Es hatte sich gelohnt. Das Fleisch vom Steak und vom Burger waren in einer guten Qualität. Die dazugehörigen Pommes frites waren gestiftelte Kartoffeln in einer Fristeuse. Die Musik lief mehr im Hintergrund, so dass wir uns normal unterhalten konnten. Das Personal kam nur auf Abruf zum Tisch, sonst hätten wir vermutlich mehr getrunken.

Die Getränke wurde erst nach 20 Minuten aufgenommen. Obwohl der Land nicht voll war. Gebracht wurden diese weitere 20 Minuten später. Keller war nicht professionell; gebracht wurde teilweise nicht das bestellte. Es fehlte im wesentlichen die Führung des Personals. Das Steak war gut, doch das Personal schlecht.
