   Service wasn’t great, waited a while to be seen too, staff all standing about talking not seeing to tables, one girl taking orders and bringing food out and drinks over while the other two stood about, due to this my coffee was luke warm and froth on top had disappeared.. also offer gluten free/ coeliac on menu but could not accommodate at all, thank goodness I asked about cross contamination or else I would have gotten very unwell! Had to shout my order as the place was so loud with a large table in! Waitress knew nothing about coeliac disease. Food wasn’t hot.. so disappointed from the last time we were there.

   Love The Birchwood. Great food, friendly staff and generous portions! Well behaved dogs are also welcome inside so the whole family can join in!

   Lovely, quiet cafe. The food was excellent and the service was perfect. We enjoyed a relaxed brunch where we felt comfortable to take our time and enjoy each other's company.

   Very good brunch venue - varied menu, reasonably quick service (given the quality of the food) and pleasant and efficient staff

    Went here for a bday brunch. The food was stunning! And good value of money too.
