Frequent diner but feel on this occasion very let down by the starter I chose....an oversized handleful of rocket with two small slithers of smoked salmon and lime Creme fraiche. Not impressed at all and expected to pay £8.50. Not good. Don't drop your standards!

As always the whole experience of having lunch with friends at The Birch was excellent, from our arrival to departure the staff are polite, professional and fun, the food is outstanding, for our group of seven friends it is the only place we meet to enjoy a catch up and lunch.......please don’t change one bit 😀

Good food but the service very aggresive. We were 5 booked in and 4 turn up together and instead of taking us to the table they were insisting that we should have a drink. We had to insist to get to the table and wait for the 5 person. Overall good but the service is bad. Fast enough.

Driven past many times..never been in. Decided to book an evening out with friends. Being a vegetarian I was surprised to see so many different dishes on the menu..spoilt for choice for once. Absolutely delicious....a bit slow on getting the drinls but other than that food, wine, atmosphere and staff....faultless!.

Always welcomed with a smile and a handshake from Mark and put at ease from his friendly and courteous staff. The food is nothing but excellent on every occasion we have been; the chefs do a fantastic job and each course is beautifully presented. It is our first choice every time for that special occasion.

We went to the Birch to celebrate a birthday, when we arrived we had a birthday card on table, so nice. The service was fantastic, very attentive with us. The food was fantastic, the swordfish was perfectly cook and delicious. We’ll go again for sure.
