My friend and I had a great time for her birthday. Servers were great as was food great too.
Great food and good wine selection. Table of 4
Loved the peel and eat shrimp and the grilled grouper.
Live music added to the atmosphere and was ideal for a dare night with friends
We had the fish sandwhich and the shrimp and grits and both were very good. Cocktails were not good. Not sure how one can make a warm martini. Servers handed food to you over the other person which didn't seem right but otherwise service was good.
Our dinner experience was outstanding! The salmon breusel sprouts and broccoli were absolutely delicious! As were my husband’s crab cakes, corn and
Patrice was Awesome! She warts the bar for great customer service experience!
I had the Asian Quinoa Bowl with chicken. There was way way too much kale. It was like finding the best parts of dinner searching thru overgrown shrubs. My husband had a grilled chicken sandwich. The hamburger bun was way bigger than the chicken breast. His opinion was the fries were better. The location, look, and feel of the place is amazing. But we were very disappointed in the food. This was not my first visit but it was my husband’s. Better luck next time I hope.
Restaurant not busy, service slow, food over cooked and too salty. Has good reputation but not living up to it.
Excellent service and food. Loved the Lobster Bisque & hush puppies.
Great food and service!
Ashley was our server.
Went New Year’s Eve and she waited on us in an amazing way
Some of the other servers were anxious to get out to have fun as well and didn’t want to take our table. Ashley did and was amazing.
If you go there always ask for Ashley.
You will be happy you did
Very friendly and attentive server, Mia. Went for New Year's Eve. Not rushed and the food was delicious.
New Year’s Eve
Food was phenomenal. Service was great. Great date night or special occasion spot
Rainbow Trout was amazing!!
First time trying this restaurant. We were seated immediately, waited on promptly, and our food was delicious. The Tuna Tataki appetizer was so good, we ordered a 2nd one. We spoke to the manager, who was very nice, about our positive experience. We will definitely visit again.
A party of 7 dined with zero complaints. All of our selections were delicious and the drinks were great! Service was awesome too! Will definitely return many times
Bree was our server, and she was excellent. She made a couple of suggestions, and they were both spot on. The blackened grouper was very tasty, as were the brussel sprouts.
Had the chesapeake oysters and fish tacos. Oysters were fresh, but just not that tasteful with no briny flavor. Fish was heavily battered and fried topped with cole slaw. It was uneventful. It wasn't bad, just not exciting. Didn't try any of the other fish dishes. Not sure I would go here again.
The Big Ketch Canton Street is one of our new favorites in Roswell. The restaurant is great, the food is great, and the service is great. It's a great location to take the family for a special occasion!
Christmas Eve dinner
We enjoyed the atmosphere and attentive service during our holiday lunch. The tuna poke app was delicious and fresh. The hot buttered lobster rolls are the absolute best...big chunks of lobster meat inside a tasty buttered bun. The grouper was fresh and topped with a tasty mango salsa. The children enjoyed their kids meals, too. We will visit again soon!
We had a great meal and a great time at the Big Ketch! Will definitely be back - BTW, the shrimp and grits was AMAZING!
Lobster rolls were the tastiest. And Jennifer was the best wait staff.
Service was friendly and personable. The food was very good and fresh. The birthday dessert was very nice and easily shared among the group.
We had a great dinner with friends. We are picky about our seafood, having grown up on the Gulf of Mexico, but this was great seafood. We will return.
Food was very tasty. The reason I didn't give it a five star is because one meal came out several minutes later than the rest and since he was the guest of honor we wanted to wait for him to receive his food before we started. Of course then our food wasn't as hot when we ate it. Also, we got a dish with shrimp, scallops and crab cake and thought it would be a healthy portion for the money but it wasn't. The wait staff was very friendly and on very top of it, so the 4 on service was due to the late food, not her.
We have enjoyed dinner here several times in the past, but the past 2 visits have been extremely disappointing! Food just wasn't what we had grown to enjoy!
Excellent fresh seafood. Great service. We will be back.
Appetizers were excellent— we ordered the shrimp/crab dip and the boiled shrimp. For my entree I ordered the crab cakes. Lots of crab and not much filler. My wife has the grouper. She loved it.
The food is usually outstanding but this round we had under cooked hush puppies and my husband got the next table's lobster roll served to him way ahead of our meal - so things were a little off this visit. All in all, we love this place for good sea food, it's a nice place to eat out but we never feel guilty bringing the kids. Awesome for large groups. Menu has great variety, and typically food is executed perfectly. If it isn't, they are always on top of making it right.
Great place for a friend get together! Good food and half price wines on Tuesday. Dessert menu could have been more expansive.
Cons: Made the mistake of ordering seafood outside of New England. The lobster in my lobster roll was not very substantial and it didn't taste quite right. It even gave me a small stomach ache afterwards, and I know it was that because my boyfriend ordered the same thing and he felt unsettled as well.
Also unpleasant was the live music -- sad to say the guitarist was not very good, and it was a little hard to concentrate on our conversation when he was playing in the other room and the radio was playing in our room. And the parking situation is difficult: it seems there is a parking lot, but it's valet-only which is odd because it's just a normal restaurant in a town. It's not like it's in a crowded city or anything.
Pros: The atmosphere was cute and thematic. The waitstaff and hostess also stood out as very pleasant and energetic.
Both the service and food were outstanding!! The managers came by our table because it was our first visit and introduced themselves. We were impressed with this restaurant from the word go! The crab and shrimp appetizer was yummy! I got the special and it was delicious. My husband said the scallops were some of the best he’s ever eaten. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
Everything was pretty good, except they seated a large party of women right next to our booth, and they were pretty loud, so it was very distracting. They could’ve may be seated them back in a corner so they weren’t as disruptive to others at tables and booths around them. Also the brussels sprouts side that I got come out well good, was not as hot as it could’ve been. This is happened before as well
Food and service were outstanding. Loved the half priced bottle of wine.
Was very surprised by attentive staff and food was awesome
Great fish restaurant for a reasonable price. Great indoor and outdoor seating.
We haven't been here in a while but have always had a good experience. Our server was attentive but unobtrusive. Three of us ordered the Asian Quinoa Superfood bowl - two of us with grilled salmon, one without. The salmon was tasty but overcooked. The bowls were supposed to have quinoa, yellow beets, Brussel sprouts, cauliflower, broccoli, kale and an asian vinaigrette. However, all 3 bowls had kale, a few Brussel sprouts and about 2 pieces of broccoli. One bowl had an overload of dressing, the other two had little to none. The fish tacos were decent, although the slaw was dripping with mayo. Kid's shrimp had barely any shrimp, but the kids burger was large and prepared to order. They had one valet for the entire restaurant, so about 20+ patrons (including my husband) stood in the rain while the poor guy tried to get all of the cars. Overall, I will not be rushing back here. Disappointing.
