Berry Tavern is in Danvers Squre, weekends it is very crowded.\ They always have a variey of choices on their menu. And, most of the choices don't disappoint. Try it...drinks are very good, entrees and desserts also!

Great apps and meals. Shrimp Grand Marnier and fried calamari were on point. I loved the homemade fusilli aka vodka. Other enjoyed haddock piccata and short ribs with pasta. Our waitress was so nice and efficient as well. Large number of items to choose from. Great space. We loved it!

We had a wonderful evening. We asked to be seated in a quieter part of the restaurant and we’re promptly accommodated. Drinks were very good. The food was excellent. We were a party of 4 and our friends raved about the food. One mishap as a server spilled one of our drinks and they comped us with a dessert of our choosing. Top notch!

First time at the Berry Tavern based on a recommendation. My wife and I first sat at the bar while we were waiting for our son and daughter in law. Had a great cold craft beer poured right to the rim; none of this 3 inches of foam stuff! Extremely friendly and outgoing bartenders. We had made reservations for 7pm . Simply put, Great service, food and atmosphere. Had their lasagna special, chicken parm, veal parm and chicken with ziti (gluten free). We also each had a ceasar salad..mine with anchovies. I am always disappointed when a restaurant that serves ceasar salad doesn’t have anchovies. The Berry didn’t let me down. Special thanks to the hostess Kara and our server Nicole for making the night so special. We all can’t wait to come back!!

Food didn't live up to expectations, which were high based on previous meal. My blackened swordfish was tasty, but overcooked and dry. It came with spinach risotto, which was flavorless. Companions liked their burger and sesame tuna. The truffle fries were quite good. Service (Haleigh) was just fine. Biggest issue was the noise level, which was loud when we came in, as the place was busy, and compounded by the live music. One of my companions had to leave early because of a headache. It was impossible to carry on a conversation. We will give the Berry Tavern another try when it's not quite so busy.

First time here. The food was tremendous. Best chicken Marsala I’ve ever had. My husband had the pizza. He loved it. The main hostess was yelling at one of the waitresses in front of us and others by the front door. We felt bad for her. I thought it was a little unprofessional.

I had a reservation for five and but the front check-in girl wanted to put us at a hightop. When I asked why we didn’t have a table reserved, she then tried to put me at a table by the front door. I asked her to put us in the back room, which she was hesitant to do, but did it. So not a great experience at check-in, but the rest of the meal was fabulous. Our waitress was very attentive, and our meals were some of the best meals we’ve had in a long time. My only recommendation is that when people make reservations to actually hold a table for them.

We went on a Saturday night, had reservations, when we got there, we had to wait 25 minutes to be seated . Noise level was loud. We finally got seated it. They gave us fresh sliced Scalli bread with those little tiny packets, plastic packets, of butter ,which I hate by the way. Anyway we had beet salad and also the chicken wings for starters.The beet salad had too many beets and the chicken wings were delicious with some sauteed onions. For entree's, my lady ordered a shrimp scallops combo with linguini, which was really good she said, I had the short rib rigatoni combination with mushroom wine sauce which was delicious. Also ,we split for dessert, the carrot cake with ice cream and whip cream was really good. So the service which was slow at 1st picked up a little bit as we went along. The food was really good and we both had doggy bags to go home but it was expensive , as I wasn't expecting to spend that much. Overall the food was good, good quality, but it was expensive ,and the service was OK. Hope you all have a pleasant experience.

Food is delicious. Drinks seem to take awhile, but overall wait staff is polite and efficient. My very favorite here is the haddock piccata. It is outstanding! However, the noise level is awful.

Overall we had a great night. Some on the table loved their food, others did not. There seemed to be consensus that the chicken parm / pasta meals were solid. The Steak tips were a thumbs down. This place was as busy as I have seen it in my years coming here. They, like all, are down in staff. We sat at 730 and were out around 945. We didn't order desert or apps. We were not upset by this as we enjoyed the night out.

we keep going here becuase its so close to our house and then say the same thing every single time. we're never going here again. food is not very good. and WAY overpriced for what it is. i would say the only thing good about this place is its potential as a place to sit and have a beer. other than that stay the F away

Fabulous night! Went to see FunBucket -- love the band. Food and service was excellent. What's great is that the music isn't deafening so you can still have a conversation. People at adjoining tables were super friendly.

Hubby and I went to celebrate our 48th wedding anniversary. We chose The Berry Tavern because it’s local, consistent, a great value and the food is very good. I had Chicken Marsala which I feel is the best around. My husband had the Chicken Parm and it was very good. Service was great; only one mix up on our salad but our server kept bringing lots of bread for hubby. Our celebration began with wine and ended with a delicious carrot cake dessert and coffee. My only slight disappointment was that no one made mention of our anniversary. It was noted on Open Table reservation. 😢 We will definitely be back.

Our extended family of 11 had a fantastic Easter luncheon. Everyone enjoyed their meals and portions were quite large. The homemade rigatoni pasta was delicious. The fried calamari appetizer was wonderfully done - Crispy and not chewy.

We had a great time at the Berry the next before Easter! Five different entrees and everyone was pleased. Excellent Chicken Marsala. The Carbonara is outstanding! Reasonable prices and a caring staff!

The Rigatoni Short Ribs was so delicious! It came with risotto. The combination of the two was very yummy! The second entree ordered was Saltimbocca. It was very good. Nice mushroom sauce!
