About The Berkshire
The Berkshire serves fresh and inventive dishes centered around pork and bacon. In a location heavily populated with chains, this family-owned restaurant serves unique meals from scratch in a casual and trendy environment. While the dishes represent American cuisine--heavy on the pig--
The Berkshire does serve lighter fare as well as vegetarian dishes.
In addition to serving up heaping portions of pig, we also take pride in our creative cocktails. We have a fully stocked bar and draft beers, insuring you will find the perfect drink to accompany your porky dish. The Berkshire hosts weekly drink specials and happy hours, giving you a reason to celebrate any day of the week!
Whether you are hosting an event, or just wanting to celebrate with a group of friends because it's Wednesday and you're craving bacon, stop by The Berkshire and let us show you just how much we love pig!

The Berkshire Ratings and Reviews
My second time going and the food was not what I remembered. All of our meals were bland and boring. Our waitress was nice but the host kept coming around our table and complaining about having to work. The music was way too loud. It was hard to hear. Overall disappointed
We found this place on a visit to Denver from Virginia. We were very pleased with all aspects of our visits. The waitstaff were outstanding, the ambiance exceptional and the quality and variety of the meals wonderful. If it weren’t so far away we’d be back in a heartbeat. If you live nearby, don’t miss this place.
The overall product seems to have gone downhill, or we just had bad luck. My wife's breakfast was missing half the ingredients but did include a hair... other than that the host was probably the hardest working. The food runner seemed disinterested in helping customers or servers. He stood staring at another servers tip book for 5 minutes without bothering to help bus the table, or the dirty one next to it. Our server was good, but it was such a slow Sunday that he was waiting on tables on both sides of the restaurant, which slowed him down a bit.
This place is amazing. The bacon wrapped bacon was to die for and the cloudless chocolate cake was great. I had the risotto, and it was cooked to perfection, which not too many places know how to do. Our party has food allergies and I'm gluten free and the server did an amazing job accommodating us. All around great place and the prices were good.
I haven't been to The Berkshire in several years (mostly because I have been out of state), and it was every bit as good as I remembered! Our server, Marissa, was very friendly and helpful without being obtrusive. The food was amazing! I had the Pulled Pork Benedict from the brunch menu, and I may be spoiled for any other Benedict, now. The pork was beautifully smoked and just fell apart. One of us had the lox and bagel because she noticed that The Berkshire smokes their own fish, and she said they really knew what they were about. My sister had the Berkshire Benedict which as was also excellent. I'll certainly be back!
Food was great. Especially the bacon flight. My beet salad was served on a plate too small for it. Waiter was attentive. Down side was that it took WAY to long to get our food, especially when it was a business lunch. We had a group but it was still too long.
We enjoyed this place. We were drawn here by the claim that they do everything-pork. So, of course, we obliged and got a bunch of things pork. The charcouterie board was delicious, the pork wings were good (though not spicy, as warned), great chicharrones, and good fried pickles. Service was OK, although the checking-in frequency could have been better. The biggest issue I had with the whole experience is the price. In our humble opinion, it was a bit too high.
Our group of four showed up at first booking on Saturday morning (9:00 AM) breakfast. While the waitress was attentive much of their focus was aimed at just getting the restaurant ready for customers. Why open if you're not ready to be open. While most of the food my family had was good, Berkshire has fallen into the same scheme as other restaurants in offering a minimal portion and potatoes as filler. Many of the group's plates were picked up with the potatoes untouched. I made the mistake of ordering the cheesy tots with green chili. Even with two eggs on top it was still a carb train wreck as 3/4 of the serving dish was tater tots, most of went back untouched. I know, the dish was called "cheesy tots", I just didn't recognize that at the Berkshire the accent was on "tots".
Iive in the Springs, but decided to take my two bacon loving kids for a pig fest for dinner. The Heritage Bacon 4 ways is delicious. I thought the pork chop was cooked just right, but my favorite thing was the Bread Pudding with crumbled bacon... Mmmmmm, so good! Miles, the server, was a delight as well.
As pork aficionados, we are excited about a place that appeared to serve heritage pork - an assumption we had since it is named for one of the better heritage-hog breeds - and we made a special 30 mile trip to go there. We were disappointed then when we asked at the Berkshire if their pork was actually Berkshire, and told that only the ground pork and the sausage was. We wondered if they had access to Berkshire, why not use the much more flavorful Berkshire for the entree items like chops. The one (chop) we ordered had little marbling, and was fairly ho-hum. - Seems a shame as Berkshire and other good heritage breeds are pretty available here in Colorado.
That said the bacon flight was a good idea and the bacon good. Service was friendly and accommodating. The Hog wings (shanks) we had were fairly good.
It was Father's Day and yes it was crowded - but service was slow, not horrible, just slow. Coffee and scrambled eggs were cold, but a fresh cup was brought about 5 minutes later. I did have to ask for a refill, when this should have been given without asking. Now that's the negative comment.
The positive comment is that the food (minus the scrambled eggs) was delicious. The pancakes were absolutely delicious. My family enjoyed the biscuits and gravy, cheesy tater tots with green chili and the bacon was cooked perfect. The outdoor tables in the shade were very nice. The price was very reasonable and our waitress was good just really busy. We will definitely go again as the food is awesome.
The Berk has been a resturant I have been to several times and liked. Always had a good experence. Had not been in about 6 moths, made a reservation for 7 for fathers day breakfast. Resturant was less than half full. Took TWENTY MINUTES for our server to come to our table. Completely insanity. We had a small orange juice with a hair it in. We did get a few coffee refills once we finally got coffee. We never got a single refill on water. Food was good once we could finally order it... over 35 miutes after we arrived. Service was really bad. I was so dissapointed in what used to be a favorite resturant.
We had a great experience at The Berkshire. When we arrived, there weren't very many people there, which made us a little worried. I think there was a large gathering down the same street---music and beer fest so maybe the crowds were all there but it worked in our favor. The food was wonderful, the beer was great and we weren't rushed at all. An enjoyable time for all.
The food here is delicious. However, during our return visit to the Berkshire, we were disappointed to find that the service had declined. The front of house was appethetic and the service was slow. The restrooms had a sewer smell, which the staff seemed uninterested in addressing. I hope this was just an off day, but it will make me reconsider returning.
